Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Yes, I have used it with my underdog and It works well. I just put a little more water than I do for oils. Diffusion is decent and great flavor. It's a little small but that's not a big issue especially for a travel bong. I like that the glass is so thick and the downstem is attached to the bottom.

Thank you for responding. that piece looks so freaking tank like I could not resist ordering. hopefully a smaller size will mean I use less herb each session and get a good chug a lug going.

That's a copy of a JRed Diamond Knot. Apparently they work without a carb cap and you don't need to wait too long to hit your dab after heating. Also there's more surface area which is supposed to vaporize more of your dab. Main con I can see is that there's no way to q-tip it clean which will likely lead to it wearing out faster, less of an issue at $33 than whatever the legit costs. I would definitely buy one if it were cheaper, but not sure I wanna be the guinea pig as it is definitely a step down in quality from the original (see pic below). Same vendor is also selling bangers with a 29mm dish that I kinda want to try first.

price goes down to $17, but we'd need 98 friends...
Thanks for that pic, I can clearly see the difference.

Saw a 6mm-thick quartz banger this AM, too. o_0

I would love to but I'm still waiting for my Jan 25 order to turn up.

Got held in customs in Beijing then got sent back to Steven!

So they are resending. Hopefully will get it soon.

I got my FC-Mod back in October and I enjoy it, but it was sitting silently until I got this new hydrotube, which makes a nice mouthpiece for the mod. I tend to use it for reclaim and high temp stuff, but find the diffusion of both pieces too airy for daily use. I like it better without the ashcatcher and using the showerhead only, but then the volume is cut down pretty dramatically. It is easy to keep clean, though because of that, it's also easy to break parts. Mine was pretty straight, no obvious flaws, and I like the concept, but I still choose the UFO everyday over the mod. I would give it a 29 out of 42.

Pretty much the exact same for me. I have owned it for a few months now - soon after I got it I got the FC UFO on the recommendation of the fine folks in this thread. The UFO has been my daily driver for a couple of months - as well as the new Hydratube.

I do like the Mod with the mouthpiece on some nights for those big hits on the Evo. My Brother and I call it the transformer of bongs, when I uesd to set it up. The UFO is the perfect balance for diffusion and taste IMO. Which is why I tend to choose it over the Mod lately .

Edit: Just ordered that new Mothership FTK Kathy has on DHgate, can't wait to try it out.

So I have decided to purchase my first dab rig and I am on mostly settled on Sunshine Glass D020. I am looking for suggestions on a nail to pair with it. I am on a tight budget... I would like to go with quartz or titanium, preferably domeless. If that is a possibility. In pictures the D020 is offset with a male to male adapter that is included with purchase. Do I need to use it or can I just purchase a male nail and drop it right into rig?

Sorry I am a bit lost. Any information will help. Thanks.

You could, but might get a bit tricky in use. Might be better off to find a different inexpensive piece of glass that has a male end, and use a female domeless. I don't know that I'd trust the D020 to hold up with a hot domeless being repeatedly heated in the top center dewar joint. It will also likely get stuck on a regular basis. Or, just using the male to male adapter with female domeless on it would likely take core of both concerns.

Anyone have an opinion on quartz nails from Dankstop? Or should I just stay with dhgate theme and get quartz banger from Hyman?

I can't speak for dankstop but as far as dhg, I haven't had any issue with their nails. I'm going to order a dhg toro grail and trough clone next though to see how that is. Might even order one of those ufo carb caps.

I'm stuck on my 4mm quartz banger on my coil from jhlsmoking, probly sane as hyman or their 2nds. Been qtippin it and it stays pretty damn clean woth the occasional torching to clear up the sides. But u can see this lasting me a long time if I continue to qtip. I want to try a 3mm banger from hyman next. Note: I had to expand a 20 mm coil to approx 22mm to get the 4mm banger to fit.

I have looked at that d020 many times but bought the d020-d instead. d020-d is bigger than d020. I still will get a d020 soon though he,he even after just buying this small tank glass piece ...

I just like the look and size of the d020, the d020-d requires more lung power..

OK Guys. I am a bargain hunter. This week I bought 2 , wait 3 new bubblers actually! And All 3 of them together were under $75 and are American made! I bought the M&M Bubbler with a 3 arm ash catcher and a nice padded bong bag for $30 + $5 shipping Negotiated on Ebay. I got it this cheap because it was all absolutely disgusting with combustion gunk so nobody bid on it. Plus the ground glass joint on the mouthpiece was broken (Easily fixed with teflon tape). It took several Hours and A lot of 100% iso and salt but I got it all clean. Not only is the M&M my new favorite bubbler but the ash catcher with a j-hook works great too! Both for $30

The third piece I got from American Glass Art on ioffer. This piece is fantastic for the money. I would suggest this over most Chinese pieces for the same money. I love the form factor with the removable mouthpiece/ashcather and the fact that it has a 45 degree side mounted 18mm is PERFECT for log vapes. I love the swivel mouthpiece of both of these pieces and for under $75 total I am VERY happy!

Thank u for the bongo logic, Bongologist!

I had pretty much settled on the stability / functionalityUFO when I got caught-up enough to read about the oh-so-shiny MOD, so your comments go to the heart of it. I frankly never spent even one session with 'a bag and a bong', so I'm gonna guess the 'airyness' and 'cut-down volume' are the sort of personal observations / preferences, etc, we all develop over long practice? For my own part, I search for the One Rig, to replace the utter lack of glass options, so the ash-catcher & swappable downtubes seem like valuable added extras, not things I'd use all the time, or even much ('science requires experimentation') - but might have preferences about.

Pretty much the exact same for me. I have owned it for a few months now - soon after I got it I got the FC UFO on the recommendation of the fine folks in this thread. The UFO has been my daily driver for a couple of months....

I get what you say about the Transformers - does it really feel steady and stable, all piled up like that w/ the vape on top? Seems contraptionary to me.

Just reporting I got my sunshine store recycler ht pretty quickly. Bad news is I don't like it. It looks cool , the quality of the glass seams pretty thick but it takes way to much water to function properly. When it does function I end up with water in my mouth and it feels a tiny bit restricted to me with so much water in there. Well here's to more coming out as I really want a cheap ht that I don't have to worry about. So far I tried the Steven and sunshine and don't like either of them.

The recycler is a bit chuggy to me. I have both pieces like you and end up getting a drink half the time. I do like the flared out mouthpiece better than my real hydratubes from Vapexhale but that is about it. At least you get a hydrafoot stand with Steven. That almost makes it worth it.

Ugh... I hate Chinese QC. Recieved a knock off rig from hfy_glass today with a hole in the stem just before the perc... Of course the bubbles want to escape from there before they even reach the perc.

Has anyone had any dealings with them, particularly with getting a refund/replacement? I feel they're gonna try and offer me a few dollars back. That is not acceptable to me.

I know we take a risk ordering form China and I expect the odd blemish or for things not to be perfectly straight but a huge hole in the main functional part of the rig? Come on now China...
