http://www.hazevaporizers.com/faq/cleaning-frequency/ is what we reccommend. Which version do you have?

@$unnyblaq and @Fightingteam I am sending both of you PM's.

PM me to please , thanks Scott

Is there a way to properly clean the air path where the stems slot in? I keep having issues pulling the stems out and I have cleaned the stems and the path as best I could. What causes them to stick? Is it the top part of the opening?

in my limited use so far Ive just been sticking a qtip with iso down the airpath after the session , but i'm using it at home not out and about . I have ver 2 and I was aware of the sticky mouthpiece so I've just been pro active about it .

Hi, what would be the best way to use small buds or chunks? I know it's conduction heat but I remember a few people saying that they don't grind & it works well. Thanks

I use a screen (either) or can and push down a little bit. Enjoy. Everybody is looking for "how-to". You don't need "how-to", just do it. No one can tell you how you like it, but you.
I like taste (low temps), then I turn up the heat for vapor. (You might like it different than me.)
That's how I get what I want. You have to find how you like it, and how you get what you want.
There is no set way to make love, there is no set way to vape. There are too many variables to the mix.
How do you like it? That's how you do it. Doc

How does the v3 compare to the solo? My solo battery seems to be dying and I'm debating replacing the battery or maybe picking up the haze. The ability to use concentrates is very appealing.

How is the taste compared to the solo? Draw resistance?

I recently picked up a summit for on the go usage so I'm just considering this as a portable home option.

Pretty easy to use with water tools? I have two that I got for my solo and wouldn't want to have a vape that wasn't as easy to use with them.

Thanks in advance! You guys steered me right three years ago with the solo so I'm looking forward to hearing about the haze.

Can't help you with the solo.
If I set my Haze on temp 1, I get the most amazing taste. Draw resistance is controlled by pack and cleanliness. I've heard people say this vape draws hard.
Geeze, people this is "a vape not a bong". If you draw strong on a bong, gets more air (oxygen), more heat. More smoke. Draw strong on a vape, gets more air (cools the vapor below vaping temp), no vapor.
The best thing about this vape, (only vape on the market like this), dual ovens, dry herb cans. You can fill cans, (carry several filled), carry on at play, always ready.
I use Ed's wt adaptor, 3-D's wt adaptor, Obiter whip, whatever to convert my Orbiter or "PNWT" for use on my Haze. I prefer the Pinnacle Water Tool, (with the Orbiter whip,) myself. Doc

Thanks for the reply Doc. You mentioned the cleanliness can affect draw resistance, how often do you find yourself cleaning it and how long does it usually take?

Side question, how do concentrates come out tasting? I've never vaped them before.

I have two different cleaning routines. I use canned air to keep the crumbles out. I replace the mouthpiece with a fresh one every other day. I soak the mouthpiece, (with all that golden goo on it,) in Everclear. Every time the Everclear gets a little thick I make myself a drink with it.
Once a week, (depends on the herb,) I clean it like Scott does in the cleaning video fifteen (15) mins.
If you take a "BBs" worth of dab in a can, it tastes awesome. Gets you high w/o knocking you down.
Doc

I guess I should own up to what happened to me this weekend.
I set up my Orbiter on the table, (on the same level), next to me. I got a little hazed, and I sneezed into the Orbiter. Next thing I know, I have water siphoning into my Haze. I quickly removed the battery, cleaned the Haze, and thankfully it was just fine.
I've noticed that if you don't pull the mp all the way out on the oven, (towards the switch handle), it gets more reclaim on it.
If it's only part way out, the vapor has to travel along side the mp, leaving condensate vapor on the mp. (Soak it in Everclear, make a stiff drink.)
If you pull it almost all the way out, (everytime), the reclaim is only on the inside. (Less clean up).
Happy hazeing. Doc

I'm going to be receiving my package with my Haze and all of the accessories. I ordered from Vaporsellor.com. It was nice, because they threw in some free accessories, and matched another retailer's lower price point.

I am amazed at the 10 year warranty, and the excellent support I've seen here from Scott, and elsewherw. I currently own: MFLB, and the Epic Vape Nano, and very soon my 3rd unit-The Green Haze 3.0! I started here in the days of the PD, and that's the only one that has died on me! I am thinking that I will have to show this device to all of my friends. I know one in particular who will like this especially because of the flexibility that it has to offer.

Thanks Scott! The most useful tips I've read on using this device is to prewash all of your accessories with ISO to clean any manufacturing residue off, as well as the tip to soak the silicone lids in coconut oil. I would suggest to use MCT Fractionated Coconut Oil because it stays liquid at room temperature (Amazon or your local health food store sells it).

I will be looking on 4/20 to see if any of the authorized sellers of the Haze accessories have them for sale. I plan on buying the leather carrying case, 2 more concentrate cans, 2 more dry herb cans, and the MFLB Orbiter to go with this.

I read a recent reply of the user who has the Orbiter and sneezed into it and got water into the Haze. My suggestion would be to take the battery out (IMPORTANT) and set the Haze on a heater vent for 2-3 hours, or put it in a box of rice overnight with the battery removed. Kind of like a cell phone, the Haze should recover. I would suggest to set the Haze higher than the top of the Orbiter hose, so you don't accidentally get a siphon started if you sneeze again.

Here's what I can say so far: The product packaging and instructions are above my expectations. The warranty on this device is the best in the industry. The instructions are very clear and concise. This is not a complaint, but I should put it here for some of the older people or people with bad vision. The manual has very small print, so you may need a magnifying glass to read it.

My XL batteries are at 2 of 3 bars right now. When they are done charging, I will post my review after an hour or two of breaking it in!

Ok back for the review. I can say this is exactly what I always wanted in a vape! The only thing I would suggest is that a fast flashing light would be good for the battery as it is about to go dead. The other suggestion would be to use something a little stronger where the battery door closes, but I haven't taken a lot of time to observe it. I'm not sure if the plastic part with the hexagons on the bottom is supposed to be loose, but it is just a little bit on mine. I'm not upset about it, in fact it seems that possibly it is meant to be that way. I just know that I'm always going to be as careful as I can with it, and clean it often.

I like the fact that this uses the size of batteries it does. They don't last forever, but it does the job very well. i can see that I will have to get an additional charger. Does anyone know what the best 6 slot charger is? I like this vape so well, that it is becoming the daily driver for me.

It's very conservative. I get a lot more out of a puff of of this than I ever would off of a bowl or any other combustion method. I have been vaping for quite some time, but I never had a portable that could keep up with this one.

I decided to pick up a v3 after reading the last 50 pages of the thread. Should be here in a day or two. Also grabbed a new battery for my solo since I already have everything to use water tools with that. Very excited to try out the haze.

Id love a comparison of the haze and solo when you get it please.

In my quest for the golden reclaim from my Haze, I've noticed that if you pull the mp all the way to the end of it's length, it doesn't goop up on the outside. I soak my dirty mp in Everclear to get the reclaim. When it gets real dark I make a stiff drink out of it.
If you stop and think about it, the goop (reclaim) is just condensated vapor. If the mp is cooler than the vapor, the vapor condenses on the mp.
Let us say the "mt" circle oven is hot with the mp part way out. The outside of the mp is cooler than the vapor because the air inside the mp is cooler. Vapor condenses on the mp. Even with the other oven hot drawing on the mp partially out will still condense vapor on it.

So if you want to keep the mp cleaner then pull the mp all the way out everytime. Try it , can't hurt.

That's the thing that bothers me about people blowing clouds out on all of the videos I've seen, ever since the days I started vaping! People! Blowing clouds out is blowing out 96.8% pure extracts from your precious herbs! I hold it in, even if it does make be cough. I notice I get a rush of circulation that goes from my scalp to my toes when that happens. Waste not-want not.

I do see a sudden shortage of concentrates around with everything going on here. It made me think of something that I would like as an optional accessory. I would pay $10 for the option of buying 3-5 extra metal or silicone lids. I would prefer them not to come as a combo pack, but metal lids OR silicone option. I have 3 tins here that I will not be able to use for a while here, and that would come in handy.

I'm on my 2nd day now with it, and I'm very happy with the purchase. I have gotten a feel for exactly how I like to use it. I will use the cans for dry herb starting on 2, then go to 3 or 4 to finish it off. I have tried a small couple of dabs in there, and it works very well. I usually start those off at temp 2 and finish them off at the 3rd temp. 2 dabs 3/4 of a piece of rice and 3 cans of dry herb will last me all day with this, and that is amazing.

just pulled the trigger on the green haze, $175/free shipping. hard to beat, I'm excited. use the Plenty and herbalaire 2.2 as my home vape. never had a good portable before, can't wait!

Just did the same myself. I added the 2 extended batteries to make it $199.99 total.

Started vaping with a Silver Surfer, got an iolite for my first portable, went electric with the Indica Noir (and its dying heat chamber issues), and currently use a PAX 2 most of the time. Looking forward to the Haze V3.

I just got my order confirmation! Can't wait! I had been going around to local head shops to see if I could find one in person but I couldn't pass up the sale (even though I kinda wanted purple) Thank you tax refund!

Edit: I have read every single post on this thread. Ow. Will need to use my new baby to recover.

Just curious about the order process. I haven't read every post on this thread, but I did go back 30 pages and didn't see this question asked. What does order "Completed" mean?

I'm not being impatient, I wasn't expecting it to ship immediately. I'm just concerned that I was never emailed a tracking number and cannot find a tracking number on the website for my order, yet my order says "Completed". Actually it said "Completed" within minutes of placing the order. I'm pretty certain it couldn't have shipped so quickly.

So does order "Completed" simply mean it is boxed up and ready to ship, or does that mean it's already shipped? Any insight would be appreciated, these terms for orders can get confusing, pending, packaging, shipped, completed. To me an order isn't completed until it is received by the consumer in working order, but definitions vary.

Hi Dan, These are really more internal indicators that anything. An order goes into completed status after the payment goes through, the order is processed and the shipping label is printed. We are changing some things on our email system that generates tracking so please bare with us.

Welcome to the family!

Thank you for the quick response.

I just like having a tracking number because mail theft is rampant around here. It got to the point that FedEx was requiring signatures on EVERY package in our community during Christmas. There have been four arrests, in two separate cases, and the thefts continue on. The people who do it, will do it despite cameras pointed directly at them. So a tracking number is super important so I can be home the day it will be delivered, or sadly there is a chance it will not be at my door when I get home.

Thanks again for explaining what was meant by order completed. Hopefully the email with the tracking number makes it, once it is shipped.
