Wow, that is an incredible shot! Maybe I tell GF I want something similar as a guide. Do you have a shot of the whole piece?

Ah the BW reinforced inline is so sick! I know its a pretty rare piece. and Pappy, what does it mean to "flute the stand"? Does that mean that instead of the goblet it will come out like the base on your GF bub?

Tstat: I cant hear what the final product will be like, Im interested now

got it, you meant reinforced to the right side of the outer tube correct? that makes a lot of sense.

Thanks Pappy, I was wondering what else I should ask for. Any other suggestions?
tstat I would ask for a wider foot so it wont tip over easily......that foot looks a little small to me for that tube. just my :2c:

Well that sample tube is very large, looks to be at least 18" tall in that picture, he only wants like 12" of tube.

That's why I asked what size the bore is. Wouldn't want to go bigger than 38mm. 32-36mm would be just fine.

A couple of these BW inlines showed up at my LHS, he added some marias above the donut splashguard on them, looks very nice and classy, and about the same price as listed on ALT. Good times.

BW is inching up the price and height on these but they're still a great deal for a great toob.

Just bought my first bong in over 20 years. I picked this chinese piece up from a local headshop for $40 to see if I like using glass w/ my EQ. I figured for $40 bucks I can't really go wrong. Anyway, here she is while the EQ is warming up. I'm about to give her a test drive :brow:

edit: I'm impressed! It hit really good and I got 2 of the biggest vapor hits I've ever had. :o
This hobby could be dangerous in more ways than one.

All in all the unit is pretty damn sturdy for Chinese glass. I think I'm going to like her.

Pappy, you're the one that convinced me to try it. I was even thinking when I bought it: "Pappy's gonna give me shit for buying Chinese"...haha. But I really wanted to try some water filtration, so thanks for giving me the motivation to try something new. She's hitting really good right now with some Buddha Cheese and some Blue Dream hash mixed in for fun.

Cheers! :D

Thanks Stu. I think the Chinese toob thing is misunderstood. Many name artists use colored Chinese tubing. The Wilson boys B&W pieces come to mind. Some good glass comes out of China. The rap on Chinese toobs is they're knock offs of popular name toobs without the artistic or technological understanding. That and they're mass produced in China!

But seriously, a toob is as good as it rips and it don't need no pedigree!

^ Back @ U... Nice n' milky!
Love to compare different technologies. Does Syn act differently at higher water levels? I'm locked into water levels with GF.

Nice clean pieces of glass :)

Love the look of those recessed joints with the PD stems inside, especially with the restricted airflow of the PD it seems that the low-resistance pieces really pair well, so far IME I think that trees/inlines/circs. can all be pretty high-airflow pieces/designs.

Still waiting on my Vertigo circ., I half expect a package every time I come home, I think thats the wrong way to think about it

Pappy, beautiful shot. Do you prefer the higher water-levels or just playing around? I know when I use the Extreme sometimes I'm not as shy about pouring in a lot of extra water because the draw is so 'unrestricted' in the first place. I'm not sure which I prefer but I really enjoy playing around with water-levels, sometimes its nice to see the kind of chugginess a piece can offer, others its nice to almost 'not feel' the 'bubbling' at all IMO.

^ I like chuggy but with GF the difference between high and low water levels is prolly less than half an ounce. ;)

Then you'll love this family shot where I left my current 'in use' piece show, ya like that short PD stem stuck in the recessed joint ,eh? :brow:

I hope its cool for me to post this pic in here, even though its supposed to be for vape setups. I pictured my pieces in a way that shows how each of them are vapor compatible, and all clean ready for vapor. :D

enjoy
