Does the store email out tracking numbers when an order is processed? I'm not too familiar with the Woo Commerce platform.

So much to catch up on this thread - seems like this vaporizer is constantly evolving. I hope my Titanium tip will still serve some useful purpose a year from now with all these developments. Maybe I'll have to toss my hand into the ring and see if I can't make some sort of exotic 3D printed bodies for this vape :science:

I did @Ratchett every time I got something from VC, once was the OG glass version first which I was using last night, dabs on Saturday tho ;), got a replacement super fast off George as well when the glass condenser went and snapped on me ass. Tracking no.s for both.

Customising is the way of this vape feel it's changed massively since inception, so many ways to pimp it out so to speak, 3D printing for it too, really cool

Ed very kindly sent me a replacement for my charred vapcap that arrived today. I'd really like to avoid more burned glass for my trash. I know that I'm supposed to wait until I hear clicks. Just in case I don't hear clicks again- how many seconds should I aim for. I'd rather aim for under rather than over charred.

@little maggie my Ti tip is usually 6/7 seconds first cycle. I know it's different for the OG but from what I can remember it's not far off the same. It all depends on lighter and flame intensity. I would just be cautious as you say.

Heat up time will be faster closer to the tip in my experience. I find that I work my way down the cap for heat cycles and for the last one I keep lighting for about a second over to get one final extraction. This method ends with the last hit being almost like smoking, bud comes out very dark. I do about 4 heat cycles.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.

I don't know if it matters, but I try to slow down the heat up in the first cycle by holding the torch quite a distance away. I was thinking that a slower, drawn out heat up (maybe only a few seconds longer before the click) might act like a heat soak for the herb and chamber.

I am still trying to find the sweet spot on mine. I have been heating 1-2 seconds beyond the click for the first 2 cycles and still get only whispy hits. I don't start getting much visible vapor until the 3rd hit when it starts getting a roasted flavor. Don't get me wrong though, it still gets me nice and toasted myself.

I am trying to get a good set up to put the woodie on my bubbler. I'm thinking that this might be a better method for practicing where I can heat for various lengths until I can see the vapor production in the glass bubbler.

I've got my order in. I am very excited and will hold me over while I continue my overly long wait with no end in sight for the grasshopper. Though based on @geraldus 's post, maybe I won't need the GH anymore :)

I just tried mine empty as Ed recommended and realize what happened last time. I hear 1 click. Last time I kept going after the click because 1 click is not what everyone describes. And waited for more clicks. And waited. And...ended up with everything charred.
So even though I think I'm supposed to hear several clicks I'm stopping at 1. Now I'm going to try it loaded and see what happens.

Sometimes I get two clicks sometimes I only get one.

The second click should be heard at least 1-2 seconds or even less after the first. So never aim for the second click until you're comfortable with it.

With the Ti tip I find it lets me go a little longer without charring.

I find the first hit is mainly just flavor as it heats up the chamber and I can force more vapor on the second by carbing the air intakes however I fancy. But yeah third and fourth by are kinda my favorite. Nice toasty flavor for a toasty high.

Can anyone tell me their experience on flavor for the woody and the Ti glassy? I've heard they are better but how significant are we talking here.

If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
When I cover the inlet hole on my classic VapCap, i am unable to draw any air through. The cap sits so snugly on the glass that it almost feels airtight. Is this normal?

Yes, only ti tipped VC has some kind of air tunnels providing extra flow. I never cover the hole,IMO is not a carb hole as in bong, but rather a chilling air intake (as the 3tinies ones in VM).
But opinions differ on this point.

The 'hopper is a nice unit , amazingly convenient , and great to have in your shirt pocket when you're out . I really enjoy it . If you've time to take a little more trouble , the vapcap is a great vape !

I believe that's normal. I place a finger over the holes, on and off, to create a puffing effect. It works so well that if I'm not careful, I can cough like hell from getting too much vapor.

I managed to char but not destroy my vapcap. I'm a bit uncoordinated. I'm going to see if I have a way to stand the body upright and turn it instead of needing to turn it in one hand. I like it a lot and hope I can get it to keep functioning.
I love the idea of having interchangeable bodies. I'd like to buy one of the wood ones when the longer ones come out if I can get this one to work.

I have this problem as well when the herbs are good! :D

Hi @kimura! For me the Vapcap doesn't reach its true potential if there is no airflow between the cap and the glass. It is because George send me a more airy one that I gave Vapcap another chance and it is now my driver. I like enough resistance so that I can puff the Vapcap like a cigar but not airy enough so I can't create any suction with my mouth.
I managed to replicate this fine balance with a spare Vapcap that was very closed (like yours) by grinding the portion of the glass which is covered by the cap and a couple of milimiters more with sand paper and also by making the lip of the bowl a little more uneven, again with the sand paper. That Vapcap was on par with my favourite airy one after this mod and was gifted to a friend. It needs some more technic in the way one draws but it's the only way I can get really great results from it!
