Don't grind too fine, as the small particles will pass through the mouthpiece's screen and you'll get a ton of particles clogging up the tip and in your mouth. It's like eating kief - gross.

Yeah that's what I was going for with the pinch's of bud. Best way to conserve flavour too, and it seems to vape it nearly just as efficiently. The whole chamber must be held at a precise temperature fairly accurately I assume. It's amazing.
After some more bowls.. it's hard to say how I like to use it best. I was super keen for this for bubbler hits, but I'm not so sure it was exactly what I wanted there. Either way, I think I prefer hitting it natively, which has surprised me somewhat, it's just so tasty and good.
I have a wooden MFLB stem, and that with the silicone MP is pretty decent, speeds up the pull with less effort. I would recommend getting one to try, you might find this is the best way.
One thing that is annoying which I will point out, is the sound it makes while dragging. Fast draws are a bit screechy - but nothing too bad, just being nitpicky.
I think an adjustable airflow collar which was quiet at rapid pulls would be better.

As I wait patiently in pre-order purgatory, I have already solved the battery dilemma. I like to use a Q-tip right after a session if its getting dirty. Its really easy to wipe out while still warm.
I'll carefully put the Q-tip in the oven slowly until it touches the screen slightly. Then I rotate the hopper as I press the Q-tip against the wall of the oven, and slowly draw the Q-tip back out.
EDIT: This will not help with residue stuck in the oven screen.

Solar chargers have been out for awhile and can be had for cheap on amazon , I have been using one for awhile now out in the sun over the summer to charge my portables. What makes your different from the others that are proven and out on the market? Having a light on it would only attract unwanted attention to me while vaping. Yeah, having a tool makes it easier to avoid impulsively blowing into the chamber.
This thing is so effective it's pretty hard to test. I am ripped.
I think if you try to session this vape, you will get too high. It really is a one hit and good kinda deal here. I'm beginning to trip out haha - haven't even tested kief yet, that's for before bed after this post. Today has been like a weird dream, it is awesome to finally have this thing.

Stuff gets stuck in my hopper's chamber only when I let it cool while full.
I promise all of you: loose pack + empty it while hot = abv that gently slides out on its own.
I've found the Santa Cruz shredder is a happy middle ground (pun intended, ha) for grind consistency.
I tried space case grinder (too fine, better for conduction vapes) and just ripping bud with fingers (too chunky, not enough surface area, ESPECIALLY when using native...not to mention sticky fingers)
Amazon has glass test tubes with caps. Best combination loading/storage tool for the hopper's herb I've found.
For more discrete storage on the go check out Zipp Fizz tubes! Sorta like a doob tube but has an energy drink label on it. I LOVE my glass test tubes, but I'm gonna have to put stickers on them or something. They are obviously glass tubes with herb, lol...kind of kills the discretion that the hopper brings.

Watch the video. You won't be able to remove the proprietary insulation in the mouthpiece and still have it function properly, the screen is a part of that piece. That piece also holds the inner cone in place. All you will be left with is a hollow mouthpiece that will heat up really fast and let all the herb be pulled into your mouth.because i cant dab on it (so they say. but i bet it is possible if that plasticy thing is taken out) or get that golden reclaim out without ISO
I'm pretty sure the heat from torching the mouthpiece will also warp the metal, possibly preventing it from screwing on again.

I had a similar issue - red/blue means temp overheating but this would happen at random times including trying to charge a cold hopper. Turning on/off helped sometimes, disconnecting/reconnecting the charging cable helped sometimes, but eventual fix was a replacement body from GHL. Hold out for shipping SS hoppers to preorders if you can to get the latest parts, then warranty.
Side note: finally unsubscribed from the grasshopper subReddit, thought it was useful for production tracking, but the constant down voting for just participating in conversations there got to me, feel much better w/o it, grateful for the FC community!

why aren´t your expectations fullfielld with gh bubbler hits... what is lacking...
because that was also one of the ways I intended to use my gh... and why do you prefer hitting it natively... a lot of people seem to like to use the gh with bubblers and I have seen videos really milking up bubbler with the gh and big nice clouds..

I do love solar power. And I'm all for empowering (pun!) third world people. But I take issue with your enthusiasm about "unlimited" "anywhere" and "anytime". It won't work at night, that's half the time. It won't work if the sun don't shine, nor indoors unless near a window. There are a bunch of portable solar rigs on the market, some with included battery storage, it is a rapidly expanding market, product-wise. I'm not seeing what might separate the Little Sun from other players in the market?

hot mouthpiece doesn't bother me as i will use it trough a bong mostly. and i'm sure i can figure how to put a screen in it. but are you sure that titanium can deform under a torch fire? this question is killing all my hopes for mouthpiece dabbing at the moment.
and it is not like i'm gonna experiment with my only Hopper when i receive it. i would do so if they start to sell extra mouthpieces. only then i would buy one and do those mean things to it.

Another week another warranty request!4 bodies, 3 back ends, 2 front ends and still without a working unit. This one lasted about 2 weeks. Worked perfect one moment, dead the next. Clicked on and was met with flashing blue lights. Now no lights will turn on at all. Sigh, guess Ill have to pay to send it back AGAIN.
Wow, I knew some people had gone through a few units, but that's just ridiculous, they really shouldn't be charging you for what, 9 returns now? That's got to be like $45-90 just in return shipping at this point.
