The GH does a great job with micro-loads @TheLorax. No trouble at all getting visible clouds with small amounts.

But micro-loads aren't really even necessary with the GH to get the kind of control you're looking for in regards to how high you get. Because it's 100% convection on-demand, you can fill the bowl up all the way and just take a small puff here and there throughout the day whenever you want it. It's not a session vape like the Arizer Solo where you load a bowl and work on it for 10-12 minutes until the timer runs out.

Not to mention clouds are actually inverse to pack due to draw resistance increasing with a tighter pack. If you're looking to go cloud-less, pack it tighter and fuller, you can get tasty, potent and cloudless hits under temp 3 ... just be careful you can still get clouds if you rip it too hard but with the right pack and draw you can go stealth

those Americans who get a Hopper from VapeFiends get more than just a Hopper. they get a Hopper with a double trans-Atlantic traveling experience. :brow:

I ordered one from VF on Monday morning with normal shipping and I tracked it through a royal mail tracking number. It moved quickly until Thursday when at 9:38 it arrived in the US. It hasn't moved since then...

But how is the flavor by the end of the day?

Hopper liked that Euro trip. he doesn't want to come back home to US and end vacation. hard labor is awaiting him in your hands.

Cloudy...
The hopper has a pretty consistent taste for some reason. Precise taste but someone has to make some kind of longer mouthpiece with a cooling element at least this is how i feel.

I feel exactly the same!

I use a lotus stem http://lotusvaporizer.com/stem-short/ with my fw3 vape to cool the vapor...
will also try to use this stem with my ghs (when they arrive) hope will help cooling down the vapor...
the lotus stem is also very sturdy pocketable, size is more or less the same as the gh ( thick anodized aluminum) and there is also a longer lotus stem if needed http://lotusvaporizer.com/stem-long/

The grasshopper is designed with stealth and ease of use in mind. You can't make a longer mouthpiece without sacrificing some stealth, at least not yet. If they can find a way to shrink the battery without losing battery life then they can potentially elongate the vapor path, producing cooler vapor. In the short term, if you're going to session this thing and need a solution to the hot vapor you can look back in this thread. People have put out some very easy DIY suggestions such as using the crafty's cooling unit, a whip, I think someone used a da buddha mouthpiece, etc.

I don't have my hopper yet but I suggested a few times they (or anyone) make, as an accessory, a longer mouthpiece lined with glass inside or something. Screwed on the threads or as an attachment maybe idk.

Sometimes im just home and the stealth plays no part.

how does it fit?

do not have my grasshopper...
but its diameter is 13 to 14mm
in my opinion if you can use your gh with an 14mm female adapter with your bubbler...than the grasshopper will fit easily and the stem is really sturdy and thick in my opinion it really cools the vapor very good... use it also sometimes with my nano log vape and a 14mm e-nano gong...
can report you when i get my gh...
but I am very sure it will fit and the gh silicone mouthpiece will make it snug and tight ...

this without herb + gh = cool vapor

diameter 13 to 14mm (would say 13.5mm)

maybe someone with a lotus stem and gh can try it! and tell us if it works...

Please go back and read my comment, which you quoted, because I addressed that fact. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people don't bother to read a comment and then ask a question or make a statement that was already addressed in the comment they neglected to read.

@BuzzDanklin

In your video you mention the GH can vape .02 successfully. I do micro doses like that to help with anxiety when I can't be high of my ass.

Is there visible vapor with loads that small? I'd like to see that on video if there is visible vapor (and your time permits).

Thank you for the quality review!

I speak for the trees...

The Hopper works really well for micro doses and topping up. It will also produce vapor from the small loads, actually a fair amount of vapor for the size of the pack as well. I will try to get a clip showing it when I have some spare time.

How does it hit? Also, are you not worried about scratching it by using it without the adapter?

The draw is a little restricted, but you get *great* flavour around 3.5 / 4 on the dial - and it takes the harshness down significantly too.

Using the GH in glass without the silicone adapter will mark the metal over time. I've had my 'hopper for a few months and I'm not as precious with it as I used to be, It's a workhorse and my daily driver.

The ti wears really well -
