I agree with Pig, there is no consistent seller for things like this especially. I ordered four dropdowns from Kathy (I think) and two were good, two were almost useless. If you want better quality look into oregonglassblower or a few other members here.
I was thinking about the adapters I have around the house already for the Evo for when I purchase it. I have an old Vapor Tower whip style vape. Do old 18mm whip vape attachments work as adapters on the Evo or are the joints too deep on them? They are really cheap and some of them worked. Something like this?

Although mine is this one with the 2 screens that sandwich herb together (works really well on the Vapor Tower years ago actually!) I could take the screens out and just have an 18mm female to my 14mm male I have on the other end instead of the mouthpiece.

I know the joints were too deep on Stevens Chydrotubes, wondering if these adapters would have the same issue or do they work?

I think the problem with Stevens ht was the joint was pushed up inside beyond flush, so it was the glass preventing it from sealing, not the joint itself. Those adapters seem to me like they should work and that's pretty much what I was thinking. Hopefully an Evo owner can chime in, I'm really thinking about the Evo as my next purchase, I keep going back and forth.

You need an angled female joint on the Evo's bamboo- to avoid any stress on it when moved with the tubing attached .

I would connect the tubing in the male side of the adapter and just use another male to male joint on the other end to connect to a piece of my choice. But using this method nearly made my Evo tip over no matter how long the tubing was.
I really think that's why the adapter kit sold has a angled female joint, allows some give when moving it around . That's why I am going to get it next.

The only thing I love more than my EVO is my Herbalizer and you can easily mod a Herbalizer to use HT's. Is there anything in the same league as these two these days minus the sublimator which I am not interested in? My VAS has been put to rest ever since the Herbalizer came out but there can always be something better
I want to chime in an say the HT from Steven seals about 98% on my EVO. I use it more than any of my others because of the price and I break shit. My actual VxH glass is superior in quality but I'd rather sacrifice Chinese if I get careless. Using my VxH glass is more of a treat.
I decided to buy another of Stevens HT because I like how it worked with the VxN and we all know how our tubes can get funky after just a couple uses. So I have one tube dedicated for using the VxN.

Is the perc in the big can on your fc mod touching the bottom of the can @Gramin ? My matrix perc would touch the bottom and wouldn't sit straight and totally affected function..yours still works more than mine did but the perc in yours isn't firing properly..maybe lil more water needed?? Hard to tell..but that solo restricts it a lot cuz it seems to function better when u cleared it..I would still get a better one because my fc mod is a beast..

Check out the deal on this Pyramid bubbler Ash catcher from American glass studio on Ioffer. This looks a good bit better than the normal Chinese stuff IMO and this one just dropped from $75 to $38. I just ordered it and I'll let you know how it is when it arrives! Dammit GAS I can't stop buying bubblers now!

I still have not gotten mine. It was listed as 'out for delivery' then that evening was suddenly four states away. Not happy, but not completely unexpected with dhgate shipping.

Sorry you haven't gotten yours yet. I'm really enjoying mine, I have not put it away in my storage for glass since I got it.
I took out Steven's ht and compared performance between the two and I still prefer SunshineStore's Ht.
The angle of the mouthpiece is nice and so is the function of the recycler. It is my first piece of this kind so I think the novelty of the recycler is there for me. Something about its function just punches that vapor down my lungs like no other piece.
Still perfect seal on the Evo and I never got a chance to try the swagcycler or any piece like it- so it's cool to use this at such an affordable price.

Got my recycler hydrotube. It works great with the EVO.
No over flow yet. I don't have my water level as high as @Mangos so not much vortex but everything else is great ie. taste and function. I tried with the same level as he did and it will vortex 100%.
Hits /function are great. Quality is nice and glass feels sturdy. Only downside is no base to put it on while not in use.

I think the Steven straight fabs are the way to go, that's what I have I believe and it's a very sturdy piece with great function. I hear good things about the fab eggs that come with a matrix perc under them, I believe the seller is called gorgeous heroin or something ridiculous like that?

Meh. Steven's quality is hit and miss. I did like his straight fab, the size, the mouthpiece, and how solid it was. The one I got had a tilted perc, and was kind of sloppy. For me, it's on the outer limits as far as size and filtration (I like smaller pieces with less diffusion for oil). There's some feedback on Reddit about Gorgeous Heroine's fab egg. I have better luck with simpler pieces, as far as getting one that is reasonably straight, and looks good. If you don't need the extra weight to offset an enail, I really like this little guy, great flavor, and hits just right.

Those reclaim jars are pointless in my opinion. You are better off just scraping the reclaim out of the banger before it drips into your joint and collecting it in one of those silicon wax containers. Drop downs aren't necessary if you are using a Quartz nail that can be torched as you don't have to worry about your joint getting too hot and breaking. Reclaim is going to stick like crazy to the glass jar and will be hard to get all out.
If you are set on a drop down then I recommend just getting a normal one and then heating it lightly with a torch to drip it out into another container. This is pretty easy because you can hold the other end of the drop down while heating.

Your recommendations are what I'm currently doing and honestly I can't be bothered scraping it out of the banger/drop down all the time all the time, and I also don't like using more heat/solvent than necessary to get the claim out. I want more activated THC rather than CBN if possible.
I just prefer using a dropdown. Nothing to do with heat. None of my glass is worth worrying about anyway haha. The colelction pot cant be any worse than a dropdown to clean out surely?
So, still after suggestions if anyone has any. It does look like I wont have much luck finding what I want anyway so i guess I'll stick to scrapiun
