Yeah I bought one maybe 15 days ago... Bums me out that I didn't get the new version, because I do love the functionality of the vape, easy to clean/load... But dat airflow. Wanting to find vendors that have the new one in stock at a fair price.

Good call, IMO. The stock stem is OK for casual use, but when it comes time to get serious......

I have the PVHES version from PV (cuts in the bowl end to decrease restriction) and I prefer this (cheaper) version. I find the mouth is slightly tapered so it's much easier to insert than stock stems.

I think you'll be well pleased.

BTW, seriously consider the domed screens on E-Bay they not only use smaller loads (if you put them 'dome up') but give the same basic vapor performance (just for a shorter time), prevent debris sneaking up the pipe and (being spaced up) take a very long time to foul.

At a buck each or so shipped, I suggest getting a couple extras, they really are worth it I think:

Hey, just got another AA of eBay... you guys think it's real?

lol

Looking at Facebook like I do every couple of months and I think... I've never liked or joined any weed or vaporizer/arizer groups... wtf?

Oh, nope... just some dude in a Pensado's Place group showing off his new Aston LDC mic! :)

Reminded me of last Superbowl Sunday. Went outside and enjoyed a few stems at halftime as we were at a family friendly event with plenty of little ones and older ones around... and as I was re-entering I realized I hadn't put my unit away yet... but that's okay... I just did a little fake lip synch to whatever halftime music was on with my AA as a mock mic and did a jazzy little dance over to the refreshment stand.

@beiberhole69 i wonder what the oog stands for on the above vaporizer? It looks fake to me. The top cap part even looks funky.

Edit
I responded before I saw the rest of the post was added on. Originally it was a picture and said he found it off eBay.

Just purchased a new Air after realizing my previous one was a knockoff. Very unfortunate. Hopefully it's the newest model with the re-machined oven plate.

Does anyone have suggestions on where to get cheap glass pieces online for the Air?

Bummer, but good recovery. I'm sure you'll be happy with the real deal once it's in hand. While I haven't tried one I can't see how much improvement is happening for those of us who are sippers. And if you're on the ripper end of things, even into to the cloud chasers, I'm sure PVHES will have even a bigger effect. Meaning I guess I don't think you'll miss much at all if you have the same model I have. And all the rest, for that matter save the one guy that got one? Lots of happy campers, welcome.

I think most of us got WTs from DHGate. Custom stems from Planet Vape or Ed. For a while the plastic topped stem will mate with 14mm GonG fittings fine, after that I'm liking the WPA I got from Puff it Up, cheaper than the PV version and easier to get in and out (the mouth is cleverly tapered a bit!). No restriction reduction though.......

Enjoy your Air, sounds like you worked a bit and getting educated along the way.

@msemcee I second OF, all great suggestions, If you buy a stem from eds tnt it tapes to 14mm and doubles as a WPA

Thanks guys. The counterfeit unit I got actually worked pretty good. I was surprised how similar it was to an original. Wouldn't have stopped using it if it didn't start to fall apart on me.

You suggest any sellers on DHGate? And when you say 'WT' I'm assuming you mean water tube? WPA = water pipe attachment?

WT = water tool

sunshinestore is a reputable seller on dhgate.

Enjoy your original :)

O 0 8 is the different pick up patterns you can select.

And the post was not edited or amended. It stands in it's original state as is.

Hey all, (first post, hi)

Should I buy a used air from someone online (comes with 2 batteries, wall charger, stem, 14mm PVHEGonG and silicone sleeve) for $130 or just get one new (if new, from where)?

Also, what are the best cheap options as far as glass go that pair nicely with the air? (I was told that this would be the place to ask) Probably looking to spend $50 max for the glass plus an adapter if needed

This is the place to ask.... WELCOME.
Buying a second hand can be good value, make sure they have a receipt for the warranty and to prove its a genuine.
Puffitupp for a new one (not much dearer)

Unfortunately, the unit I can buy doesn't have a receipt, warranty info or anything but a serial number. The seller bought it used a few weeks ago.

Would I be better off spending ~$200 on a different vape (and glass)?
