Don't get weedstar.

It's shit glass... but more importantly its owner and the business in general are a total bunch of cunts.

Don't support this company.

That's why you bypass the tubing altogether
Is there another option? Or is this more a VHW recommendation (can't wait to try one)?

Still looking at bongs, hard to believe Ehle has bongs in the 40 dollar range, pretty small though. Will a diffused downstem/shower head be better in a beaker bottom or the ones that are the strait shot down, I like the latter.

Just get whatever you prefer :D

Myself, I love beaker/flask bottom bongs, nice heavy base and LOTS of water... others can't stand them and love the straight tube look.

I think the EHLE 100ml a bit too small, I would recommend getting a 250ml at least, even for PD style vapes I feel the 100 is too small.

OK, I know that This is corny as hell but as far as I know, as of 4:20 pm PST, I am the first person to vape out of a SG Pillar. I'll make a video later on, once it finishes taking a bath in some GO.

After one (albeit) long session with the pillar, I can confirm that this is pretty much the best thing I've hit thus far. It does have a little more drag than the trees, inlines, etc etc but there is just this very special sound and feeling that you get from the unique design that is difficult to articulate.

I gotta give SG props, this thing is flawless. Everything is welded together beautifully and to me, looks like a true piece of art even though it is pretty much a clear tube.

The reflection label he uses is pretty tight, the reversed logo is actually on the underside of the base, nice touch.

There is only one thing I would improve on for the pillar, and that is to make a bubbler version

Here are some pics... I'm gonna take a breather and get ready for round 2

OK, after another session with the pillar, I have come to two conclusions.

For a single chamber tube, this thing really makes the vapor extremely pleasant and I can definitely take bigger hits with this thing than with my other pieces. With my other pieces, I can probably inhale to about 80% my lung capacity before it starts to tickle. With the pillar, I'm probably pushing 95% before I feel that first feeling of tightness on my lungs.

The second thing is that this thing is so weird and interesting to watch when you are taking hits. Out of all the different ways to diffuse and cool your vapor, none are as creative as this pillar. First the holes split the vapor into bubbles, then the bubbles push water up the pillar where the bubble "pops" again, it is such a trip!

I think the best way I can describe the hit is to use a car analogy. My other pieces are like japanese cars. They are extremely reliable performers and probably offer more bang for the buck. The pillar is like a BMW, it just has a different weight and feel to it. Even though I've wanted one of these for a while, it was still an impulse purchase and I have no buyer's remorse. This thing is bar none, the best tube or bub I've ever had the pleasure of vaping from.

I've been ordering dual chambered pieces recently because my throat/lungs were beginning to tickle a bit when taking huge hits. I took a break from vaping for 2 weeks to let the lungs heal up but when i started vaping again, my lungs would start to get tight at only 70% capacity. The pillar allows me to take the same massive hits as I would take when I would add ice into the mix, this thing truly is remarkable. :D

Looks amazing SM. Perfect welds, nice lines, and functionally off the charts, nice pick-up. I'd love to get some SG one day, and I think it would be a pillar.

Lol it was a gwap. Cgc has prices posted so it's pretty easy to find. But it's the top end of the tube game and the price will reflect it...

why are prices usually kept off? wouldn't that also be a good piece of information for people?

I don't see why you would keep it off the boards... all you gotta do is look around the net and you can find prices. It is not like the prices are secret.

Alot of forums are against it because they are still for illegal use around most of the country. Kinda flaunting it. It's really up to the mods...

Despite the level of anonymity a forum provides there is definitely cases of developing relationships/friendships without ever 'meeting' each other; while there are obvious differences between physical/virtual friendships I think some common courtesies apply. Just as I wouldn't ask my good friend (actually I might because I'm comfortable enough with him, a comfort level forums cannot mimic) how much he spent on his latest investment out of courtesy, I think there is some continuity here.

Its a beautiful piece of glass for sure, if he wants to answer more power to him, I'd just say he paid 'enough.' :)

yeah but the same can be said about vaporizers, and everyone talks about how much they cost. If you can talk about one, why not the other? especially here on FC

Very true. Let's just say it's more than a digital volcano. Those are what 650ish?? If SM wants to say how much that's on him. Just watch Californiaglassconnection. They'll have more pillars soon

Hey Minnesnowta.... For those not in Cali and unable to get stuff shipped is there another site to look at by chance? Now that I ordered the SSV it's time to start scoping out my next item....glass :D

Not for sg. Sov is baised outta Cali so they get spoiled. The sites I frequent are shinobiglass.com, puffnpassglass.com, showmeglass.com, and fullmeltglass.com. Bitfreakglass is another but you need to get a password from the operator and most of these sites require a photocopy of your drivers licence to make it completly legit.

Oops I forgot that shinobiglass had a couple of SGs but they sold out really fast

Thanks! I'll check them all out! If only my husband would consider a move to Cali LOL!

How old are you? People around my age don't care one bit. People ask me how much I spend on my vapes all the time.
