So who makes the best sundae stack clone on dhg? Has anyone ordered one? I was gonna cop one for my boy since he really liked the way they look. I'm curious about the function tho. I heard there were 2 versions one with downstem and one without. He doesn't like the hits to be too airy...The smaller straight fab a few posts back is dope af, I think I'm gonna get that one next. The FC FTK is sick too, gonna convince my brother to get that one lol. Were prob gonna buy a toro grail and trough clone to try out as well.

I'm feeling the itch for a new piece. Here's the thing though, I want to use it with my Arizer Solo for now, but in the future I might buy a Cloud Evo.
I have the D020-D and really like it, but I love seeing larger more technical pieces. This is why I'm really eying the FC-Mod. Maybe some parts would also work on the D020-D?

Yea.. it didnt update for about a week so I messaged her then it magically showed up in the system and it hasnt moved since. That was 3 weeks ago. I know CNY happened but I ordered this in enough time it should have been state side before CNY ever started.

Dang that sucks. I ordered a couple things on the Wednesday or Thursday before CNY and one managed to ship out and is in Canada so I should probably get it in the next few days but the other did not and still has 7 days to ship.
Don't think I ever had any major problems with Kathy but their store is definitely in the lower tier customer service wise and they'd have to get a pretty amazing piece for me to order from there again when there's vendors out there offering basically North American level customer service.

The ash catcher should work. I have the version with a side car mouthpiece & it clears by about 1/8", but it does clear.

I ordered the Toro incycler knockoff... Id totally buy one from somewhere else if I could find a good one. I have little faith Ill ever see one from Kathy. She is 2/4 in getting stuff to me at this point.

I ordered a FC MOD and FC Mouthpiece on Jan 25.
Then I ordered the FC 187 a week later.
FC 187 turned up after about 9 days.

Got my FC-mini from hookahbong which didn't come with a cap but for $25 a pretty good deal. Waiting on a cap though is killing me. Guess I have plenty of other pieces. Did take one slightly hot dab which wasn't harsh despite being hot enough to not really need a cap. Furthers my belief that Steven is just a reseller and has no factory.

so i have a few of the hymanquartz purity direct inject domeless enails and notice that theyre well.. a bit restrictive with air flow. is that just the way it is with that particular nail or is it worth switching to this new HE hybrid quartz/Ti nail i'm seeing?

Yeah the airflow on those direct inject e-nails is definitely restrictive. The hybrid ti/quartz is way more open, you'll need to switch to a flat coil unless you're just torching. Both are pretty good, airflow is basically the biggest difference I would say. The hybrid probably vaporizes more effectively but hard to say how much of a difference you'd actually tell. Both got me dabbed out.

I have the hybrid nail too. Tastes about the same as my quartz banger. Definitely vaporizes well, and thoroughly. Plenty of airflow. On mine, the threaded part does not have enough room to hold an enail coil. But, it works great with a torch.

Hey, I was looking at slimer juice boxes on dhg earlier and I read a bad review you should be aware of. The guy was really pissed because he said he used a 3M lead test kit and found it was lead paint. Not saying you have one from that batch but you might want to test it.
I just went back to look for the review to copy it but can't find it. Definitely was a clone of that box though.

Is there a functional difference between the DH glass and $500-$1k+ American made pieces? I'm talking functionally here, It's obvious the fit and finish aren't the same.
I currently have an FC-710 which is great and I have several other DH pieces on the way. However, I'm also shopping around higher end recyclers like Gordo Scientific. I'm just looking for an honest opinion on if it's that big a difference.

i actually read that same review a few days ago when i went back to check. good thing i used that piece for maybe a day, then i put it away. the function wasnt anywhere near the original for me to use it, really. confirmed lead paint just seals the deal for me. good looking out!

My experience in rough terms/figures is:
Chinese glass : American quality glass
-- Function of Chinese is typically 75 to 90% of American. If you throw out the reject Chinese pieces which get sent but are really sub sub par /rejects
-- at a cost of from 1/5 to 1/10 of American glass.
I kind of used max of $500 or $600 for American glass as beyond that you mostly get artistic/cosmetic value.
So, like any product that last/top 10 to 20% of function costs a lot.
For me, my glass lust tops out at about Mobius level of $400ish.
I doubt I'd ever buy a $600+ piece

Would have to agree with MinnBobber on this one. That 500ish range will get you peak function for the most part. Single-perc pieces from China reach almost 100% of American function from the right sellers. I have a UFO from Steven (probably not a good seller overall) that's of immaculate American scientific quality and hardiness. On the other hand I also had a mini peyote pillar from DHgate that broke approx 10 mins after I started using it. If you're looking for American options I would say AxisWolf for recyclers, and GordoScientific only if you're enamored with a specific type of percolator he makes. Recyclers tend to be a good value for American glass IMO because few Chinese recyclers function properly.My experience in rough terms/figures is:

This doesn't surprise me at all and is about what I was thinking would be the case. I'm glad I ordered a few things to try from DH since it sounds like they are hit or miss. I don't think I'll drop more than $600 either, it would have to be something really nice.
I'm definitely going to check out AxisWolf, thanks. This is the first I'm hearing of him, but some of the more unknown guys have a lot of talent.

I been checking out a few glass forums for some heady glass , it's crazy I have seen some real tiny heady type pieces going for over $2,000 depending on the artists. I wanted to grab something interesting bc I got so much China glass but the prices are just way out of my range for most of what I like.
