The turbine is a bit better in air flow not by a lot but the flavor is the main difference. The diffusion is great, my face melts after every hit though because it's so smooth by the time you feel it in your lungs it's too late.

I find the flavor thru the Chandelier to be very good. I have the HydraHoneycomb rather than the Turbine for comparison, but find it to also be a bit more restrictive than the Chandelier, although I probably use more water in the Honeycomb than most would use in the Turbine. I like using the honeycomb for concentrates. For some reason I prefer (what I perceive to be, at least) the greater restriction. I also think the holes in the barrel of my honeycomb tube could be a bit smaller than some, possibly accounting for additional difference in restriction.

Hello all! Long time, no post. I've been busy with graduation and other things. So I came back tonight a little buzzed and attempted to clean out my EVO with some iso and Q-Tips. I may have gotten a bit carried away because after cleaning my EVO is not turning on at all. No light, no anything. I have put in my ticket and I am hoping for the best. Hopefully after some evaporation, things will light up again. Has anyone experienced anything similar? If so, do you know how the warranty may work? I am an Indiegogo backer, so I'm not sure of the warranty status.

I have always left my units overnight to dry if I cleaned the bamboo, just in case.

The Indiegogo warranty is hazy there have been multiple descriptions of it, I would like a definitive answer as well.

Is it plugged in?

(I did this the other night. Plug into the unit was loose.)

Having worked in troubleshooting with customers, I hear where you are coming from, but it was plugged in ;P

After a few hours it is now turning on! I will let you know if VXL responds to the ticket though. The few hours of downtime let me use the Vap 2.0 again and appreciate both its simplicity and the Evos advanced build. The Evo just made a popping sound as if there was still some liquid in the heat path, so I'll let it evaporate overnight.

If you pop some table salt in with the Iso it'll do an even better job :-)

And the knob is removable by the way, it just pulls off.

Further to my previous response re Vapefiend and their current stock of Cloud Evo and Hydratube, I can confirm that they have them in as I ordered one on the 15th and I have just completed my Warranty registration today (about 10 mins ago) with VCX, so that's how I know that the SP I gave you the other day about their availability is legit!!

I got my EVO and I am raring to go (but I'm putting on a front for my missus by pretending to wait a bit as she's a bit pissed at the price, considering I've only just got the Volcano Digit, Mighty, Crafty and three Extreme Q's -don't ask - in the space of the last 4/5months!!) but anyway, the real reason that I ain't diving in is because at the moment I've only got Blue Cheese, (Gtr Manchester's finest) and we hate cheese, don't get me wrong here, its strong and does its work, but I (we) just can't get past the taste, UK Cheese in fact Cheese full-stop is horrible, its certainly an acquired taste, yuk! So I'm waiting til the weekend for some Iced Grapefruit to introduce the VCX EVO into the fold.

But having said that, I think that I might have to try the cheese - just as a tester!!
I'll be back in a few days with a proper review....

Funny old world innit? Cos I can't wait to get rid of what I've got.
Don't get me wrong, as I said before, it does it work, and got to be honest in the EVO it was better than previous, but as I also said, its an acquired taste, well at least for us, its a shame you can't get it, cos round this part of Gtr Manchester, they can't get enough of it!:\

Don't get me wrong, I ain't stush (= snob), but I just cannot stand that f***ing taste, yuk!!
As for the EVO, I ain't gonna say too much right now, as I am going to do a a few tests including a 'three the Hard way collision, featuring the Arizer EQ (Underdog) vs the Vapexhale EVO (Newcomer) vs the Volcano (Current Undisputed Don), inna one crucial head to head showdown, Ice Grapefruit to referee!

I will let you know the outcome, as that Dancehall song goes; "Ring de Alarm! Cos another vape is dying!" 3 big Vapes inna one big lawn, the don vape will blow as the other two keep calm!" Ring de Alarm!

Can't wait to give you the outcome!

Nope. I use that piece on everything. It does a phenomenal job of cooling the vapor.

If I put my knob on it just falls off again :(

There's a little screw in there, but no head to the screw if you know what I mean. I'm wondering if a) the head broke off the screw and it's stuck, or b) it's a headless screw, and what sort of screwdriver will I need? I don't have any small enough so I will have to buy one, but I need to know what type.

Would it help if I took a picture of my knob and posted it here??
