Yeah the Firewood, it is the mouthpiece.
too bad that FireWood is out of stock @ their online shop. any chance that this rubber also fits ArizerSolo stems? i'm kinda addicted to those glass straws. having quite a collection of them. gonna want to merge all those stems and bubblers with GH sooner or latter. for sure.

so at the moment my plan is to cut of the very tip of the Hopper's silicone piece. as much as needed for Arizer's glass to sit in tight. any chance that FireWood rubber fits without cutting? it looks like a cone shaped. maybe any other manufacturer's rubber fits as connection for those two?

i would appreciate any other suggestions how to hook up Hopper with Arizer's glassware in civilized fashion. ghetto style duct tape solution no bueno, IMO. that looks very no classy. and not only a looks, probably a horrible taste also comes when glue is warmed up. :disgust:

@Vaperist You cand use a 1" piece of any whip. I used a piece of whip from my SSV to attach my small bubblers.

I just slide it about 1/4" onto the body of the hopper and the silicone tube fits nicely inside just like @paytonpenn did. This also holds it very snug. You can see the whip inside of the glass.

The nice thing about this is you can slide the MP or bubbler off quickly and use the silicone piece as a session extender as well.

tnx Doc! will check household shop for hoses :)

i see one benefit if glass stem goes inside a circumcised Hopper's silicone piece, though. vapor path is steel-to-glass. not touching any synthetic material.

If you look at @paytonpenn pic the vapor still passes through silicone so I don't understand how you will manage to add an extension without using silicone to seal the two.

The session extender is silicone and the vapor passes through the silicone when it is on your hopper regardless during normal use.

Even if you, as you said "circumcised" your session extender, it has too large of an OD to work with any glass I have found.

You can cut 1/2" piece of whip and slip it on the hopper until the GH tip is sticking beyond the silicone but glass will not stay on securely. You will have to hold it on.

glass stem goes to Hopper's tip. steel-to-glass connection if holding and using with two hands, right? so keep them that way. silicone piece goes on top of that connection by cutting larger hole in it. theoretically. maybe. do you think that connection like that will easily slip out? isn't session extender tight enough on Hopper body?

Don't forget that the GH vapor path includes a funnel of synthetic material inside the mouthpiece.

OK, I know you hate silicone @Vaperist. So now you have me on a mission!

I just made this for you. And no the silicone Hopper session extender does not fit on very tight, it comes off very easily.

This is a piece of surgical silicone and a Vapor Blunt Baker 14mm male adapter with the silicone on the outside of the glass adapter and the tip of the hopper is past the silicone up inside the glass.
One handed extension.

Is this what you desire?:)

The tip is past the silicone into the glass. This will work for you. I would just be very careful of the glass on metal....:\

where did you get stuff like that? are you a doctor for realz? and thanks! this is exactingly a type of connection i want to make for my Arizer accessories.

so, does this metal-to-glass connection taste any better than if a plastic hose are siting in between?

If I buy a second hand unit, will it still have the warranty? I'm in the market for a secon hand Ti, but if it doesn't have a warranty with all the problems I see around here, I'm not gonna buy it.

Have the account switched over to your e-mail and send the RMA in yourself from that account if you have any problems. It should work, it has in the past.

Love this! Rips like crazy!

Got this in January been loving it ever since.

That looks ideal!
Is that just a standard 18-14 adapter with the session extender?
Is the seal good enough to allow 'hands free' operation? (other than holding the bubbler of course).

Yeah you got it. 18f to 14m. And also needed a rubber band to make it fit snug inside the 18 with standard silicone mouthpiece.

Anyone seen what's going on over at Reddit? Few people haven't had warranty responses for extended (month long) periods of time, one DOA hopper that Caroline suggested via email to "bang against the table," which further broke the hopper.

Just don't pay any attention to anything going on over at reddit. Those people are generally pretty dumb and can't think for themselves. You need to hold their hand and walk them through everything. I guarantee you the 1 person that hasn't gotten a response probably hasn't checked his spam folder. Sometimes they take a few days or even a week to respond. Pretty normal for such a small company.

Just got back from a 4 day trip to Nashville. Brought the GH and 2 extra batteries. The drive down was seamless and relaxing due to the ease of loading the GH with a Doob Tube of pre-ground meds. The ability to medicate in 30 seconds flat is so crucial for driving IMO because of the time you spend incriminating yourself with other vapes that take a session to truly get going.

The entire crew got to give it a try here and there, and were thoroughly impressed with form-factor, flavor, and heat up time. The damn thing literally sells itself. Had a buddy want to smoke a bowl of some Jack Herer I had brought with me. I said sure, and let him blaze away. After he had finished, I offered him the GH with some Jack loaded and he took one rip and said: "Holy... shit... what the f^@k was I thinking"

I love this damn thing.

So the only problem would be if he has another GH and want to keep his account... Is that the only way to have it under warranty?

Pretty much. If you're getting it from a friend then just have him put the warranty in for you.

Well, as long as you can guarantee that person is wrong, guess there's nothing to be alarmed about.
I can't guarantee that person is wrong, but I can guarantee that 99% of posts on reddit aren't well thought out.

chillin on the couch, sippin off a 22 ounce.
Word on the GH being paired with glass! Right now I'm using mine through a Toro micro double inline. This vape has seriously become the most daily driver or daily drivers in my entire collection. I am fucking in love with this thing!! Crank it all the way up when using with a waterpipe. Doesn't get more easy peasy than this. Whomever programmed the temperature on this thing is either 1.) a serious vaping enthusiast, or 2.) just got incredibly lucky.. I suspect it may just be a combination of the two.

Mine is serial number: GS000680 btw... don't really know how that relates to the manufacturing timeline, but I sought out a working unit and purchased mine recently on here through a private sale.

I was going to say that isn't really fair...but then I just read a new post asking if they would get one free battery for every month delayed, so I stand corrected, hahah.
Yeah, reddit is a terrible source of information. If you go look at the grasshopper page, there's no actual discussion going on. It's mostly people that don't have grasshoppers complaining about how they don't have grasshoppers yet or commenting on how it works without having any experience with it. It also goes through phases. 1 week, everyone loves the hopper and can't stop praising it, the next they all hate it. You can't get an accurate gauge on what's going on because there's no logic in their discussions. They just post without stopping to think about what they're writing. If you want real information with regards to the grasshopper, you come here. You want to know if any new orders have shipped out or been received? Go to reddit. That's about all they're good for.

@Vaperist I would also recommend high temp silicone
also a lot of vape manufacturers have silicone (whips) as accessories for sale. Maybe some fc member with a gh can tell you which one fits...
