The absolute newest model of the mighty vibrates whenever you press the power button while its on if I remember correctly and not just when it turns on/off and reaches temp.

Yes. You can also tell by the slightly reinforced housing and a two-minute shutoff time. (My second Mighty is 30xxx and I'm fairly sure it was manufactured very late last year, maybe November. Yours is from the same batch.)

Yeah, it has a much more solid build than my Crafty, and I really like the two minute timer.

I have only had my mighty for two days and I'm loving it, my serial number is 030 so I'm assuming that means 30+ serial? Anyways I'm loving it...i hope I have better luck then it seems most people here :/

As someone who has no experience with portable vapes but uses a Silver Surfer (whip style with wide opening heater cover and bowl) and use to have a VX Cloud before it died. I typically pack a small bowl for my SSV and try and vape the entire thing at once, as I like the effects of vaping all the cannabinoids together, and then I wait ~ an hour for my next hit. What should I expect in terms of vape cloud quality in comparison to the SSV? I saw a video review and the clouds looked pretty big and the guy said it was comparable to desktop vapes but didn't go into any more detail.

one more question.

does S&B cover battery problems if its still in the 2 year warranty period. for example, if my batteries crap out after a few months but havent been through an unreasonable amount of charges, will they cover it for free?

what is the exact warranty policy on mighty batteries or in general?

They used to cover batteries in the warranty in the United States, but have discontinued that practice. A mighty battery replacement would be $90. Europe and Australia still have their batteries covered, but that is because of their stricter consumer protection laws. From what I have heard you would be more likely to get a free replacement if A) you purchased directly from them or B) wrote a very nice and polite request to them AND get the right Customer Service Rep. Otherwise $90 each time.

Now having said that, if you decide to buy a Porsche instead of a Jeep you have to expect higher repairs. My problem is that it looks like S&B tried to save some money by putting in low quality batteries which leads to more repairs.

thanks for the reply!
thats what I am worried about. do people have alot of battery problems or is it mainly with heavy use. I plan to use it as a weekend vape and for when I have pain flareups and need to get really medicated, but I dont want to be sending it in

Mighty's have been increasingly reliable with less problems talked about here. You should be fine, given the occasional use. Been using one daily, 3-1/2 months at 40 to 50 hrs per month with no signs of degradation. My experience with service has been very good.
Really, if reliability is paramount, you may want to go with a good plug-in.

I have an Enano already so for a desktop im set, I want to use this more as a portable home vape. I just dont want to be one of those people who has gone through 2-3 mightys but I have read through the majority of this thread and you are right, there do seem to be less comments about warranty service. Its great to hear yours is "aging" well.

stoked to be getting one soon, Just waiting on a return email from puffitup to make sure they have the newest 30xxx with the dark blue orings

You'll be fine. I have two Mightys, one of them since early July, the other since December. I use at least one for two bowls each day, in conjunction with an E-nano and a couple of FFs. No battery issues whatsoever. I don't think the kind of use you're describing is problematic at all. (Plus you'll get great service via PIU so that's a good call.)

Just enjoy and don't sweat as-yet-unrealized battery problems. There's always reliability risk with portables....good thing using them usually makes us forget those worries. ;)

My mighty is #78**, and over 14 months old. I've had zero problems.

You will be amazed my friend. The mighty is like vaping 3 enano bowls. But without the reloading, stirring or fiddling around. This vape means business. Truthfully for touch ups and to take the edge off, I'd rather do a enano stem. But when I want to get where I want to go fast with lots of power, my mighty gets me higher gram for gram than any of my others, even my much loved ssv.

It's also nice for passing when doing sessions with other astronauts. No cords, whips or anything to slow you down. Once detached from those moorings lift off is assured.

Thanks for mentioning how it compares to the SSV. How much cannabis would you guess the Mighty saves you in comparison to your SSV? Mentioning it's superior, gram for gram, in comparison to the SSV has me about sold on purchasing the Mighty. It'll be my first portable vape.

Efficency wise, my enano would be best. But my enano, and volcano and ssv are all true convection vapes. I believe the great preformance of the mighty is at least partly because it's a convection/conduction hybrid. And all of these vapes save money over combusting. I was a 4-5 gram a day guy that went to 2 grams using my volcano, and maybe one gram using my mighty, enano and ssv.

So like I said for straight efficiency I'd pick an enano or underdog. The logs are great for this. For bigger load sipping, blasting, tasting and all around general use, I really like my ssv.

But my mighty shines for big results, it's not that it isn't efficent because it is, it's that it gets you so darn blasted. It's my only portable as well. And I see no need for another. It is expensive, but it outshines all the portables I've seen or used.

I'd be devastated to only have one vape, but pushed into a corner, I'd take the mighty.
