I'm currently obsessed with Rick and Morty. It's one of the best TV series I have seen of any genre.

I've spent the last week or so watching The Expanse on ScyFy but had a lot of trouble following it. Not a huge sci-fi fan but I do like a space battle occasionally. So I started watching Battlestar Galáctica, the 2003 miniseries for starters. It does the trick for me... I feel like I have some idea of what's going on

Just caching up on 'Making a Murderer' from Netflix - what a fascinating show. Never seen anything like it due to all the authentic footage used. It highlights the many flaws in the US legal system. I have watched 8/10 episodes in just under a week. Definitely a police stitch up in my opinion from what I have seen so far.

Has anyone heard about show combining? Apparently it's the new thing this year.
They're starting with Paranormal Witness & Teen Mom. I haven't watched either of these but there's a good chance I'll watch Paranormal Teen Mom.
Starting shortly after that is another new combo called The Gilmore Pickers. That one's similar to American Pickers but they only ever pick Glimore Girls memorabilia.
It's full of moments like, Oh look it's Lorelais locket!

I haven't read many Stephen King novels but I did read 11.22.63 when it came out a few years ago. Just seen episode 1 of the new TV version and.... yup, I'll be back for more next week, same time, same channel and probably same level of vaped :peace:

Anyone else watching Angie Tribeca (TBS/TNT) ?? If you're in the mood for some silliness, this will give ya the giggles.

I've started watching Catfish on MTV. I just found it! It's been on for 5 years. Some of it probably is fake. A lot of the reality shows are a farce. It is intertaining but with compassion.

Haha yeah it was first a film...

I actually was watching some other sitcom recently that made a joke about a very specific type of catfishing they saw in a show about it airing on the catfish network.

I just :rofl:at the thought of that idea of a whole network of catfish, but I guess if youre only just now discovering it, it is certainly an intriguing modern sociology show

Set your DVR's. This should be a good one.

Love those girls, they actually had made an online short with this premise, should be a wild mini-series...

There are actually a lot of time travel shows being made now

Currently binge watching season one of Twelve Monkeys. (Actually dvr'd the first season and watching about 2 episodes a night. That may not be binge watching tho, eh?)

Hey its a responsible binge!

There's a sitcom shooting a pilot called Making History from a former family guy writer produced by LegoMovie/LastManOnEarth guys, and a drama called just like Time or something from TheShield creator that's like an action heroes vs villains thing...

Plus yeah CW has Legends of Tomorrow DC Comics spin off that's all time travel, not to mention Flash doing it sometimes too...

Haven't seen 12 Monkeys yet (actually I need to see the movie... Long overdue obviously, not to mention Brazil too...)

Oh Outlander has time travel as its central device to get things started too

I've got my own idea for what I think would be an amazing time travel series as well, hopefully you'll be able to see it some day...

Oh there is this animated online one called Super Science Friends that is also time travel oriented and worth a quick silly watch

i just got caught up on The Americans on FX on demand.

i'm not saying who dies, but damn good show

Oh yes! Fantastic show

Also Better Call Saul obviously...
People vs OJ was pretty good too, crazy but a good blend of things

FX and AMC usually pretty reliable, looking forward to Night Manager

I still need to catch up on Vinyl among other things though...

Oh Amazon's Red Oaks is pretty damn fun btw, speaking of the 80s

i've seen adds for Outlander. I didn't know there was time travel involved. I'll have to check it out.

Did you watch Continuum?

The main premise is a 19th century woman falling into 17th century Ireland (I may have those numbers wrong, probably do lol) so it's the main plot point but I don't know how prevalent it is otherwise.

Oh yes! Continuum is on my (massive) list, it just finished up didn't it? Four seasons total? Could be a good tredmill watch since its pretty procedural too right?

Continuum was good, but got cut short. They got to wrap up most of the story lines at the end, but it was like reading most of a book and then being told how things turned out without reading the endings.

a bit like how i feel about Firefly

Ah thats a shame, in some ways worse than when it gets cut off without time to end, bc they didn't have time for a proper end... I love when little procedural shows somehow get an overall conclusive serialized story told on their own terms like Fringe, Chuck, Leverage, Burn Notice, The Mentalist, White Collar barely, even if it is hit or miss depending on the shows...

I am hoping Person of Interest can wrap it up right even though they kinda got screwed over

Also wish Alphas and Copper had gotten to keep going beyond two seasons, among others
