That's what I'm talking about right there. :tup: How many EQ's have come out of the closet and into the light. Due to the power of the Mod kit. You were able to like your LSV in the same manner. So yes, that phenom will be coming around the LSV forums I tell ya.:nod: It will be fun watching newbs turning into vets right in front of you. And then have them turn around and give out sound advice to more new users. That alone keeps me coming back.

I think I'm going to order the "The Complete DDave DBV & SSV Econo & Micro Mod Kit V1.75 - Extreme Extraction!"

I have the ground glass spherical heater cover, so what options (if there is any?) do I need to choose/request?

What really sold me is the screens I read about, they sound much better than what I'm using. I've owned my SSV for three years and I still suck at putting the screen back in after cleaning it.

@Meremoth Thanks for the kind words!

At present I don't have a kit that fits the Spherical pieces. In order to use the mod, you'd need an 18mm GG heater cover for your vaporizer.

I've sent inquiry to supplier to ensure all is on track and will be sending out any news to those affected by eBay messages the second I receive reply.

@vapelord420 My oldest backorder is 18 days. I'm sorry to see that may have been yours. Also :cuss: me that I had plenty of stock. Earthquake dropped a cabinet and destroyed it. (Felt light shaking/rolling and TV was jiggling along with other objects. Kinda felt like we live above a subway or something to that effect all week. Some stronger than others. Was enough to knock some things over).

Supplier replied they would ship to me to arrive next week. This is save for any Customs issues or unforeseen shipping delays.

It will take a day or two to catch up. First ordered, first shipped. Yours, being one of the first affected will be in first batch to be sent.

In my email message I sent to all affected via ebay, I also offered full refunds. A couple took that option instead of the free additional glass piece and screens i'm including for the inconvenience. In your case, that's almost an entire 2nd kit, as your order was for the $15 DBV (consisting of wand, screens and tubing).

Either option is still available and my apology for the inconvenience still stands.

In fact, I hate it so much that I need to throw in a bonus chance at a sweet win for anyone whose order has been impacted.

So, once my stock arrives, I will take all the orders which were back-ordered and make a list. Each one will receive a number. Then via random number generator, there will be a winning order.

I've asked my original supplier to quit stalling and to ship my order to me ASAP and have begun working with a new supplier yesterday. It is my hopes the original supplier will ship soon.

The new supplier stated they could ship pieces to my specs 20-25 days after receiving my samples. I shipped to them today.

Once I get tracking on any of the orders, will send out estimate.

Current supplier's product will meet my specs, as I've already received product from them. New supplier's product I will need to verify to ensure it matches my specs. I will always ensure my kits do not come with sub-standard parts.

Whichever supplier delivers parts to me first that meet my specs, that will allow me to ship the kits.

That's the best estimate I can provide currently.

Thanks @DDave for the update definitely brings peace of mind not thinking everyday the mailman might have the mod haha!!

Sorry to hear mother nature is ruthless but I hope for everything works out exactly the way it should. Sometimes things don't make sense at the time they happen, but reveal later it was meant to be.

I'm excited to try the eq mod once it arrives!! Until it does I will patiently wait and day dream about my zion pre-order.

Thanks for all the efforts to keep the mods alive!!

While I patiently await my dbv kit I wonder if any dbv users of the kit have combusted accidentally (and, where did you need to set the temp to prevent combustion). One of the first things I did when I got my dbv (a year ago) was to pop off the temp knob and put it back so that "off" was at 6 o'clock. Makes it easier to set the best temp - I regularly use 12 o'clock and a slow inhale for good results with a bump to 1 or 2 o'clock to get the last bit out of a wand. I've found the dbv to be extremely economical on weed use compared to the good old monkey pipe...

I have combusted a few times with the DDave mod. Seems like some very dry herb in a loaded modded wand that is left attached at a certain temperature threshold can combust...yeesh, that's an awful sentence! What I'm trying to say is, yes, it can combust :)

I've been coughing a lot with recent vaping (flowers) so I've started using a lower temp with the mod and my ssv. I don't end up with a dark brown finish but the effects are just as potent, the flavor is great, and there's far, far less coughing. I used to have mine set at 12/12:30, now I drop to 11ish or so....not that those values are absolute, I just wanted to mention the relative difference in temp.

Update: Light at the end of the tunnel!!!! Original supplier wrote last night informing my order was completed and they will be shipping! Wanted to share this, as I know how it is to wait longer than expected for an order you've placed. The other part of the update is that once I receive the last of the replenishment, I will immediately begin packing and shipping on a First IN First OUT order. Estimating 2-3 days to pack and ship all back-orders.

Will post an update when I have actual product in hand!
