The Herbalizer

Has anyone found a better way to use herbie bags? all 4 of my bags leak. Don't really want to buy the volcano valve mod, but will if that is the only solution.
Have you tried installing new volcano bags in place of the OEM bags? I used turkey bags successfully but volcano bags would be better I would think.

I have never tried that yet. I assume you need to buy the easy/solid valve. Can you use volcano bags directly on the herbalizer without any mod?

@mixchu69 with a bit of silicone tubes and duck tape You can sort a bag from:
volacno easy valve bags only (no bowl needed) or herbalaire bag Mouthpiece

In any manner you can trust the bags material in rolls from storz and bickel, a roll is 3 meters.

The Volcano solid valve is a must in my opinion, and is Superior in almost every aspect to the stock Herbie valve.

@sch15m what a shitty news you have! The service they gave is absolutely not normal.

Make them pay for another return, it is not normal, they fixed it then, why not now? Could they try it ? No, no and no.

I just requested a complete refund for their so called repair and all other additional costs that I incurred for this shit. Fuck this company.

In this pic, do you only need the part on the right?
They call it solid valve mouthpiece complete. Coupled with bottom half of Herbie chamber??
Or do you also need the part on the left, the filling chamber?

EDIT-part on left is the solid valve, NOT the filling chamber

You need both items in the picture. You do not need the volcano filling chamber (not in picture).

Is that the entire solid valve kit? I went on s&b website and has a lot of separate parts you can buy individually

It's the entire solid valve kit minus the filling chamber. The solid valve kit sells for $99

Or you could buy these items separately for $70 plus the cost of bags

You do not need this piece.

Question, how fine do you grind?

When I was filling the bags there were tiny pieces of herb escaping and sort of made a little mess, any ideas?

Also didn't get tons of vapor from the whip. Once bags were filled though this thing was insane!!

I don't grind too fine. A fluffy grind will suffice. If it's too fine, you can get herb in your balloon and it'll gunk up the screens faster, in my experience. Sometimes it takes a pull or two to get decent visible vapor using the whip, depending on moisture in your meds and the temp you have selected. You won't always get big clouds with this unit but the effects are surely there.

Hi guys, been lurking for a while now but decided to join finally lol! Bought an Herbalizer a couple days ago and I gotta say I'm super impressed with the the vapor potency of this thing. I have the volcano, crafty, super surfer, and this one by far gets me to another level! The first day I got it I actually overdid it which really surprised the hell out of me. It's really hard for me to over vape...with this, not so hard. Two bags and a whip later...I was off in outer space, and for a while too.

I am noticing something though. I usually set my crafty to around so 380-385. My AVB will be a deep coffee brown color when I'm done with the pack. With the herbalizer I set the temp to 385, and finish at 390. My results are greenish brown color which confuses me. My grind consistency is not too fine and I've tried a couple different grinds with same results. I'm also vaping the everlovin' crap out of the material so I know it's not me. Thing is though...I get insanely medicated even without extracting everything. Soooo?

Anyways, I typically don't like vaping above those temps because you start to lose some of the benefits of vaping. I guess I'm just checking to see what you guys are all vaping your herbies at to achieve full extraction, and how you feel about having to raise the temps so high. I'm kind of at a loss because I get super lifted with the herbalizer, but it's not fully extracting the medicine it looks like. I'm not disappointed because the level of medicated I get with this baby is great. But I'm at a loss as to why my material still looks usable when I'm done. Maybe I can use my crafty to finish it off, but I'll have to wait because the POS is in the mail because it broke...

It doesn't change color as much because it's more convection than the Mighty. It is extracting very well though. Temp selection depends on the type of effect you would like. Have fun experimenting!

With a convection vape, it takes a higher temp to get the ABV browned VS a Crafty which has convection and conduction. Go too high and a convection vape can scorch the herb---maybe that's why Crafty max temp is 410 and Herbie is 445.
I find Herbie ABV at 445 looks like Crafty ABV at 410, just how it is.

At 390 there are a LOT of goodies left as that's almost the start for me. I usually do 370, 390, 410, 425, and 445 to fully extract.
Hydratube + Herbie at higher temps is magical ;)

Herbage in the bag: you can craft a thin round "pancake filter" of degummed hemp fiber to place over herbs to catch all the tiny pieces.

High, first time poster and semi-long time lurker, I finally hit the pay now button over at Puffitup and bought myself an Herbalizer, awwwwwww yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

I own an Arizer Air, Enano, MFLB, and now an Herbalizer. I was in the typical Volcano vs Herbalizer debate and searched the web for days for questions, it came down to which held the least material and work without a hitch. I kept reading that the Volcano works great with .2 or more, and the Herbalizer can work with less easily, I broke out my scale and weighed out what I normally use in my small vapes and decided on the Herbalizer. I paid under $600, if it was still hovering in the $700+ like it use too I would have passed on it, thank gosh the price has dropped!

I own a d020-d bubbler for my Enano, I need to find a system to mate my Herbalizer with. I'm off to search the forum, I'm sure I'll be asking some questions when the unit arrives, Happy Sunday FC! :)

Easy call to get the Herbalizer over the Volcano. For a whip adapter grab some SSV tubing to replace the stock stuff and then stick in a 18mm M2M for your D020-D. Then stick Herbie on 445...leaps and bounds beyond the volcano...

I would skip the hydratube and spend 150$ on a variety of 18mm glass on DHgate. You'll have a lot more fun and lose no functionality.

[link to counterfeit glass removed]

Would this work? With the Whip?

Can someone help me find the right parts to get set up on an upgrade of the Whip/Adapter/Water Pipe?

I have been lurking since i got my Herbalizer and keep getting lost in this thread so i signed up.
