Honey Supply Bubbler ? good buy?

I been looking to get me a new piece of glass and thought this time I may try to put in a few bucks extra and get something a little better than just some cheap generic glass bong like I've done in the past. I've had my eye on this bent neck bubbler by "honey supply glass", but I wasn't quite sure if it was mainly a concentrate rig, for dry herbs or if it was one that would work for both. I assume with the different bowls it comes with it would work for either. I know this may seem like a dumb question to some but in all my years of smoking I have very little experience with higher end glass pieces. I would mainly be using it for dry herbs because at this time concentrates are pretty much non existence here! Could someone also tell me what should be the deciding factor in choosing a female or male joint?

It's not bad, but I think you should keep looking. I feel like you may want some more diffusion with flower rather than a couple extra slits on the downstem.

As far as the joint it shouldn't really matter much. Most oil rigs used to have a male joint but there are many with female now as well. The only reason you should care (AFAIK) is so you have the correct slides or dropdowns, concentrate nails, etc.

I did a quick browse on thickassglass.com (I used 'em once so that's why I went there... I know there are at least a couple more good options others are aware of) and found some pretty good stuff for similar prices. They're all clear glass, but I feel like you're getting better function and value. There's lots of stuff under "Water Pipes $0-$100" and a couple more under "Bubblers." You'll at least get a better idea of the kind of stuff you can get these days. They've got fritted discs (the most diffusion and percolation you can get), honeycombs, ratchets, tree-arm percs, etc.

You can always look at the Cheap, Quality Bubbler thread under Glass for the DHgate Chinese stuff, too. It can be kind of a gamble with shipping times and quality, though.

If you want a good little american made flower bubbler this company has a few on sale for CHEAP! I just picked up a black label Bee Hive, looking forward to it! The beaker bubb and a few others look great too for the money,check it out before buying "Chinamerican" from Smoke Cartel. Haha I think their prices used to be higher and will go back up after their move but I'm not 100% on that.
