***Gamers*** What are you playing?

Finally finished Fallout. Well, the main story anyway. I got bored and won't likely be doing the side stuff. I think when I was just able to one-shot literally every end game obstacle on survivor difficulty, it was over for me. Typical Bethesda game I guess.

Bloodborne now. Seemed harder than Dark Souls at first, but now that I have adjusted a bit, am finding it quite a bit easier. Still has the ability to make me literally sweat in terror and thrill in the sense of victory over a particularly close encounter. Only wanted to throw the controller a couple times so far. :p

Haven't beat Fallout yet, but not because of it being too hard, but because I did so much side stuff and am now bored. I one shot literally everything lol. About to go into the Institute so I know I am pretty close, but it is a chore tbh. Haven't played it in a few weeks.

I have been playing a lot of TF2 recently though. I know thatperson is on here :) we should play sometime, I am still a bit rusty though. Been loving playing with the Huntsman though, in 5+ years of team fortress, I never really used it, what a mistake.

Trying to get through Undertale, only heard great things, but I am still quite early. Just started yesterday. The music is beez kneez though.

Anyone own a steam controller?

I have just ordered one and I guess I am now suffering from CAS because I keep checking my parcel tracking every flipping 5 minutes.

I know it can be a controversial subject but I have surcome to the ways of the wired xbox 360 controller for simplicity as my PC is hooked up to my TV and I game from the sofa. But this restricted me from playing mouse only games.

This controller changes that and I'm determined to put in the hours to reprogram my brain and get the most out of its features.

I can't wait.

:D

I'm a keyboard and mouse (well trackball) gamer all the way other than some select 'adventure' type games on console that really work well with a controller. Mostly play FPS and RTS games though and those are hard to do well on console.

I love my steam controller there is no controller that can compete. Also the versatility is ridiculous.

Man I'm so excited.

I will ease myself in by re playing Portal 2. Then I'll finish Fallout with it.

What games would you recommend and how many hours did you use it for before it felt natural to use?

About 12 hours in Fallout 4 after getting my controls set it just flowed. Turning on the gyro for right touch pad is what really got me.

I enjoyed about 90 hours on Fallout 4 with the controller. 17 hours with Rocket League, and about 50 more hours with some other games included (still have not changed the batteries. As of the past month I haven't really been using my controller, I still have a higher headshot frequency with a mouse and never sit far away to truly need to use the controller.

Sadly I don't play much action oriented games as of late for testing the controller. So far I've used it and enjoyed it with; FO4, GTAV, Visual Novels, Telltale Games, Brawlhalla, Fight the Dragon, and Rocket League.

I'm cursed with liking slightly realistic games that most people don't like.. recently I've mostly been playing America's Army, World of Tanks, World of Warships and Chivarly (Medieval Warfare).

I never played any of those OTHER than Chivalry. I wasn't very good, but that game was pretty fun! I never played with anyone so I typically was always playing FFA. I'm trying to find some room on my HD to reinstall!

Check out Civilization 5, not exactly like your other RTS games, but it's realistic and a strategy game, just a bit slower than your standard RTS. That's my old man's favorite game and I've been playing it on and off since I was a youngster, really great.

Still no good android games? Free or paid..
Crashlands, 4.99 android. 14.99 Crossplay your save on pc.

It's a great game with a bigger focus on story than gameplay but since it was simple gameplay I opted to get it for my phone. Eventually will buy on pc because the game is just solid. Trailer for it is very accurate if you don't want to grind then I suggest avoiding. Combat is pretty casual and doesn't offer variety. Dialogue is wonderful and its clear they had a biggest interest in the end story than the game immersing you in the environment (FALLOUT)..

If you like Pokemon style games Pocket Mortys is pretty nice especially if you like Rick and Morty, my biggest gripe is that it's shallow and redundant. Along with Evocreo which is another pokemon clone but with more depth than Pocket Mortys.

Chivalry is pretty hard to get 'good' at but I like that in a game, helps keep me from getting bored, running around lopping parts off people with a sword is pretty fun too. :brow: I've played most of the Civ games and do actually have a copy of Civ 5, maybe we can play sometime.

I haven't played that one but have heard good things. If I were to buy a shooter instead of playing AA for free it'd probably be that one.

Haha no more grinding games for me (WoT is painful enough!). I have played Insurgent (it got me back into AA) a bit but not in quite a while. I didn't realize there was a steam group for FC, I'll check it out, thanks!

Do you play on PC too? I don't think anything I have is cross-platform compatible with PSN unfortunately.

I crave multiplayer games for android I've played emulators but nothing holds my attention like diablo 2, counter strike, wow, team fortress and such. Those are the games I need on android lol :/ I have arcane legends I had modern combat 5, I play hearthstone and vainglory a little bit as well

ARK: Survival Evolved is fucking amazing. The devs are insanely responsive and adding stuff all the time. I can't imagine how cool it will be when it's done. The dinosaurs are so sweet. And the dynamics and politics of everything... just constantly fun moments. You gotta find a good group though. Not much fun solo IMO.

I also really enjoy competitive games, particularly StarCraft 2, Heroes of the Storm, and now Overwatch which I just got into the beta of. Guess you could call me a pretty big Blizzard fan. Sadly I'm not very good at any of these games, despite having put far more time into them than I probably ought.

Been playin my ps4 a lot. Tons of CoD blops 3. Also Witcher 3. I've played all the CoD games. This one is my favorite so far. I really like the maps and guns this time around. I felt like advanced warfare was a bit too big of a departure from the standard CoD formula. I think blops 3 brings it back to the old formula with some new things that work within that formula. Anyone who wants to add me on psn my id is da_real_PJAKE

I stopped playing America's Army for Insurgency but I'd download it again if I had someone to play with. Otherwise I mainly play Total War now, I'm playing Shogun II again after getting board with the campaign maps in Rome II and Attila. I always though Chivalry looked fun but never got around to playing it.
