@TomC1315 AIR is looking good bro!

I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed a buildup on their stems. I get a yellow ring build up right on the bottom of the stem.

I only vape at the weekends so the stems spend 4/5 days in a ISO bottle before cleaning ready for the weekend. Because of the excessive soak time I am surprised that this ring remains when the rest of the stem comes up good as new. Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this? I have tried to clean with ear bud but didn't take it off. As I am writing this I have just realised I should try some magic eraser.

its really not necessary to clean them that often and for that long, Ive had my solo for about 6 weeks now and I still havent cleaned my stems, Albeit I was rotating 3, now 2 (RIP Mr. Plastic tip stem). yeah theyre a bit dirty, but not nearly enough to impede airflow or lessen effects, plus if you let it build up you can get some decent stem honey to make into capsules or put in food, or just vape the honey its all up to you!

beiberhole69: I bought mine from the same seller as you. What is your vapor's serial number?

There was something on the box. I'm wondering why did the seller rip it out.

PM me and we can compare SNs if you want. My box was like that too.

In comparing it to the one I got from an authorized dealer, the sticker is a barcode/UPC with AZ-AIR-SLV on the top and a SN type number on the bottom. But it doesn't coincide with the SN or batch numbers.

Been a little over a week I think since I emailed Arizer on their support email. Maybe they've ignored it because it was a re: to their form response when you register your unit? I've heard they have great support, guess I'll resend with a fresh subject line.

hey i was wondering what kind of charger you guys would recommend for the Stock arizer batteries. Also do you think two batteries would be enough

cheers

get yourself a nitecore or xtar charger, both very good and most ecig users use these to charge their 18650s. two batteries is enough for 8-10 10 min sessions if that gives you an idea of how many you would want to get

nitecore is great. That's what I use. It's not OEM of course. The charger it comes with is quite a bit faster than the nitecore (but you can charge more at once with nitecore). The nightcore might void the warranty if it malfunctions though.

As far as dented positive battery ends, are you sure you did not drop it? I dented a battery in an ecig from dropping it before. The bottom of my batteries for my ecig get a round indentation over time from the contact point. I feel no resistance when I put a battery in my air either.

The positive end of these batteries does not exactly stick out all that far either. Mine look recessed lower than the battery wrap itself. They probably aren't but they look like it.

the arizer air does not come with a 18650 battery charger

I dont know the specs of the OEM 18650 but id trust a nitecore or xtar over that one you kinked just by looking at it, ive had alot of experiences with chargers from using ecigs

The arizer air IS a 18650 battery charger

I understand what youre saying, and you are technically correct but by that logic, any electronic that houses 18650s and can be charged with the batteries inside is an "18650 charger" which simply is not true, yeah they have the capability, but that is not their primary function.

I wouldnt go around an ecig forum, saying "dude you dont need a charger, your mod IS a charger"

I charge mine in my unit, but I only have the one battery and I have several vapes, so I can wait the few hours it takes to plug it in and charge.

Sounds reasonable to me to remind folks that they don't need to buy an external charger when that's the case? It's an option? But that is there, not here?

I too charge my batteries in the Air. Both the 'main using one' and the spare. IMO it's part of the design of the system. It's not the same as say Solo, FMs or any of a number of other vapes which have 18650s which cannot be removed by the end user and therefore lack both backup batteries and a way to charge them using a vape.

I too recommend charging in Air for most users. And charging in the 'mod' (Air body) is what the maker of the device recommends in this case. Unlike say Joytech who makes my new VTC Mini mod which will charge it's removable 18650 via a USB port....but which that maker recommends not doing on a routine basis.........

I'm more laying out the information/options and letting my fellow Members make informed buying decisions. IMO using Air to charge it's own backup batteries is not only a sound, safe thing to do but it is recommended by the maker in this case. Examples involving different devices are examples using different devices.

"Dude you don't need a separate charger for your Air, your Air can be used as a charger"?

Anyone got a fix for the battery connection issue?

Mine turns off if I put it down on the table too hard. One of my batteries has a depressed positive end, the other is fine. Makes no differnce to the issue which battery I use.

Anyone tried tin foil or stretching the spring to fix it?

I brought mine 2nd hand so can't return under warrenty. It's not a big issue just slightly a anoying.

This was just discussed about 1 or 2 pages ago.
You can stretch the spring a little or purchase new battery.

Hello to the FC community

I was wondering if the arizer air is suitable for traditional hash mixed with tobacco.
I'm about to make an purchase of a portable vaporizer and I'm looking for a reliable and VFM vaporizer.
Thanks in advance.

I'm a heavy user for the last 25 years so I was looking for healthier use of tobacco and weed

I mixed my weed with tobacco & was a pack a day smoker for 20+ years. You will need to get two vapes, one for weed & one for nicotine in order to break the combusting habit. It is not easy but I managed to break a lengthy addiction to combustion.

I used a Arizer Air combined with a nicotine strips & an Ecig without nicotine. That way I could adjust my dose of vaping & nicotine breaking the nicotine addiction. If you don't care about being addicted to nicotine then just use an Ecig with nicotine & vape up some buds.

I don't know specsifically about the air; but from my understanding vaporising herbal tobacco will have the effect of making the tobacco/nicotine much stronger. So you may want to be cautious if you try this as I think it can make you feel sick quite easily.

Smoking covers the real flavour of a herb. So vaping tobacco will probably taste foul.

Use the search section on here and try some Google searches as I'm sure other people will have discussed this; but to my memory it's seriously not advised. Many of us here went from smoking to vaping, but it is advised that you quit tobacco first.

I and many of my friends quit tobacco using The Allen Carrs Easy Way. No nicotine replacement. I quit after 18 years as one of the heaviest smokers and found it easy thanks to Allen Carr. You can get the book, audio, video, whatever you like. I like the video as the images help reinforce the ideas. £7 on iTunes I believe. Will be the best decision you ever made. Only took 4 days before I got over the really hard part. After that it was pretty much smooth sailing. Will be the best decision you ever made. Don't believe the hype! You can quit! It's easy! They want you to think it's hard to quit but it's a lie! It's all in the mind. Once you realise this you will quit with ease.

As for hash in vapes, I don't know about the Air but I like to use my Lotus or my Mighty for hash. There are loads of threads about what is the best vape for traditional hash.

Good luck

I do vape (pipe) tobacco but the air won't be the best vape to use for this purpose as you want the temp more like 100°c-150°c so lower than the air will go.

I would stay away from regular tobacco (additives) and stick with either pipe tobacco or a loose organic blend, and you won't really be able to mix weed with tobacco due to the difference in temp they need, best you can do is one then the other but in a vape with more temp control.

The nicotine level from vaping is way stronger than smoking so take it easy the first time.

Pipe tobacco IMO can be really tasty when done right but if too much heat is used it will taste like ass and give you a bad head.
