Why does everyone compare this to the mighty or crafty? in case of heating system, the GRASSHOPPER should be the sibbling ;-)
i dont have a GH, so i can't say anything about the session timer or on off timer..

soooo competition

I'll have a video confirmation for you tomorrow night, if tracking can be trusted.

I'll do a new, dry test so we can rule abv out of the question. Then I'll do an herb test. But I already know how it will turn out after Smokey's post.

It still heats up super fast, so there may be some merit to this unit. My sources tell me it is made by Swiss, which is good, but I don't know anything about these guys on the video. Most likely it's the latest model to get massively rebranded and we will see many like it. Hopefully they tweak the convection marketing bs.

My guess is these guys represent their model of rebrand, which would explain why they are guessing at the percentage of convection. While I thought they appeared very helpful and up front, I also thought they didn't know the unit well enough to be the makers. I could be wrong about this, though.

I don't know what more you could need to see from this vaporizer. It's a Chinee conduction vape, much closer to a fucking E-Capple than the Grasshopper (which has its own problems)

The bowl holds about 1.0g at its fullest and I believe that the more herb that is used the less of a heating though conduction occurs through the bowl.

Actually, conduction thrives in a packed environment. A light pack makes it harder for the heat to transfer throughout the load.

Why does everyone compare this to the mighty or crafty?

Surely you see the visible similarities like we do?

including the similarity of how they marketed it with the label "convection"

Hey @radiant34, our product designer has worked for Wulf Mods in the past and has been in the industry for years. Our products are independent of each other and our whole team has taken previous experience in the industry to help aid in the design, manufacturing, and shipping for our company.

Also, our website is going to be down for a couple days for revamping/maintenance. Feel free to contact us at (888) 284-2420 for ordering or message me for any questions. We also plan to have a live stream today around 4:20PM (PST) for product overview and a look at the CFX in action.

Since they claim their product designer is from wulf mods and this stuff is popping up on alibaba I believe now it seems more likely this is just another rebrand. Lets see what Boundless has to say.

I held off from this one because it looked far too much like the Chinese Crafty clones. I think the guy on Reddit has every right to be as angry as he is. Even the summit, a similar unit, has done OK business-wise with good marketing despite pretty shitty design and conduction heating. They're honest about what their product is (a pax competitor) and it makes a huge difference.

This is a clear example of a fly-by-night company taking advantage of a niche markets that operates on the basis of buzzwords like convection. Say it and people will buy it. But don't shit on someone who's mad after "taking a risk." They spent money on a product with x description, and received product y. I would be furious as well, and I hope that Boundless is out of the industry as quickly as they entered it, but perhaps with less fanfare this time around.

They actually have a few different products out and coming out and they did not lie , they had a live demo and even stated it was part convection and conduction but it turned out the product is more conduction than most had thought. I don't think that is a reason to hope the company is out of the industry. They offered the guy a refund or even money back and to keep the vaporizer so i think they did the right thing and i had emailed them personally and they stated they would change there boxes and terms from convection to conduction, there doing the right thing and trying to step in the right direction. Grasshopper has lied and misled customers , do you know how many times i was told i would receive my gh at a certain date only for it to be delayed and delayed , i still don't own it , but im not gonna hope the company fails and is out of the industry bc of it. They gave me the option to get a refund , same as boundless.

yup, i used a vacuum to suck up any bs that was in it. did it for a while. my point of makign the video was to show how full of bs snb is as much as cfx.
Did S&B advertise their product as full convection before admitting there's a bit of conduction heating in there as well? I've been in the vape game for about a year so I wasn't around when these were released.
