Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

The Hammer can hit hard but I don't use it much. The Daisy is great. I can do a session in the Daisy in the time it takes to heat the Supreme V3. But nothing is going to hit me (medically) as hard as the Supreme V3. I wonder if the Zion will be able to stand up to this one as far as production/medication per hit, but @IAmKrazy2 should be able to let us know more on that next week. You are probably also going through more material for one hit as well in the Supreme V3 compared to other vapes, but I don't measure so I don't really know.

I have not tried other butane vapes so I can't comment on them really, but I don't think they would stand up to this beast. The thing that makes the Supreme V3 so great is the ability to control your the heat of the air through your entire draw. It has been all over this thread but heat retainage is one thing this vape has that no other convection unit provides. Most convection vapes have a heater that is trying to compensate for your draw so their heat retainage is very inconsistent. This unit retains so much heat that instead of a heater working back and forth to cool itself and heat back up, it just slowly releases its heat until it has no more so you never can overpower the heater and it will never be underpowered until your session is done. This allows you to get the best of your hit. It's the consistency of a conduction bake in a convection unit!
I own both hammer models, lily, vapman, lotus, vapcap and supremes1 & 2. The supreme along with the vapman and vapcap will be in heavy rotation..the others not mentioned you will probably find in the classifieds.

If you want huge thick hits with excellent heat retention the Supreme may be the best. But it is much slower than any of the other torch vapes, and less portable too. The Hammer is the only other butane/torch vape i own that takes more than 10 seconds from a cold start.

Different tools for diffrent jobs. I will likely always have the VapCap in heavy rotation, exspecially while out and about. VapMan has a unique conduction profile, and packs a punch in a small package. The Lotus is also a portable beast, although much harder to use than a Supreme

Diffrent tools for diffrent jobs. But the Supreme sure will be the big hitter of the bunch.

If you feel The Supreme 3 is too costly on Ebay, write to Ed, and check on a discount!
CONFIRMED.
Starter Package will still be only $120 to FC Members through February.

Ed's words on this:
Whenever you have time, please let people know I am offering the starter package for $120 (guaranteed through February, or longer if possible) if they contact me directly. It was nice seeing people take advantage of the discount and I want to keep the price down as long as possible.

There is also now clarification on the electrical portable Supreme.
Ed at this time only has the budget for a modest single temp Supreme Vaporizer with ceramic heater. Ceramic heaters are the safest and hold their set temperature almost exactly. He could set any temperature up to 400F (200C) as the preset temperature upon request.. He could even have a few variety options set at different temperatures but not temperature adjustable.
NOTE:
If anyone knows of a small affordable temperature control system (with sensor) that works with 120V, let Ed know and he will try to make the temperature adjustable.

Description from Ed:
You don't need to let it stay plugged in indefinitely . Insert a pre-packed bowl, plug in vape, walk away, come back 2-3 minutes later for a treat. When I come back the vape is hot and ready to make clouds, I just pulls it off the wall and take it with me (usually to the living room couch or the back yard). Its a compact more transportable version that has everything in one place.

With the correct set temperature, you can pull it off the wall and walk 100 yards away before enjoying a full bowl. Because it's designed to be easily transportable, one charge can only finish one bowl packed as much as possible (then briefly plug it in if you want a second bowl). One bowl is usually enough for the majority of people.

I hope that this info clarifies things somewhat on the new proposed unit.

Just so Dab HAppy!
I tried making my own electric Supreme but I don't see it gaining much interest for me. All I did was heat the Supreme V3 with my Rosin setup which is just a 1-1/2" wide hair straightener in a bench-top vice. It took much longer to heat up but was able to do it.

I think it would be better if Ed thought more about finding a way to encase the current Supreme V3 in some sort of wood body and use a coil (similar to the FW3 or ESV) to heat the aluminum block (I imagine this could cut heat up time in half at the least) so that this could be totally portable and battery operated instead of butane...not that there is a problem with Butane but out in public it's going to look odd.

I haven't bought a V3 because of the exposed element, but I'll definitely buy one of these if he makes them.

So the bowl is aluminium, I thought it was the bloc only.... I thought aluminium was not good if used at +400°F...maybe that's why Ed told us it's better to don't use too high temp.

@little maggie Did you ever get yours going? I made a video last night that goes over the parts as I understand them and shows them with the 4 different glass joints that are listed in the instructions. I hope this helps. If others would view this and let me know if its good/helpful or not I will know whether I should keep it posted or delete it and try again.

I would like to know more about this as if there is a real health concern it may affect how or if I use the vape.
I am usually heating until it reads about 397-399°F. It will go up to about 412-417°F and by the time I load the bowl into it and set the V3 in my bong it is back down to 395-399°F typically. At least this is what 5 loads tells me today. Time for number 6!:science::freak:

Almost there...
@nosmoking That was an awesome video! Just what was needed!

Now onto more serious business!
CONSISTENT!!!
This is where my Supreme 3 reigns supreme! No joke either!
I can have a pile of ABV and the first bowl is exactly the same color as the last bowl!
No burnt spots, no combustion, no bad/spent taste and no green specks at all!!
And clouds upon thick clouds!!!

Only my Elite and Plenty can extract this well although they take a lot more work!!
So far the love affair continues...
Everyone should really have one of these vapes!
Hell, i am thinking of a spare... you know... just in case...

I can safely say I have been at MAX temp. One reason I go so high in temp is because I load the heating tube after the vape is up to temp. When I insert the cold heating tube it drops about 15-25 degrees instantly.

One additional tip: Since last night I have been using two screens. I use a regular screen in the tube like shown in my video and then I insert the paperclip screen that comes with the Supreme and then I use the vacuum method to suck herbs up into the heating tube. This makes unloading so easy and less messy!

Here is some information I found about the heating element and its material structure, this is from the Supreme 1, but I believe this part is the same (someone who knows better can correct me).

http://www.supremevaporizer.com/HeatingElement.html

Safety 1st: We use high temperature aluminum (4,426 F boiling point) that is 100% safe. There is no metallic taste and it will never come close to releasing any kind of particles whatsoever. On the left is our heating element without its thick high temperature shell.

he1.jpg

THIS IS THE MOST ADVANCED VAPORIZER HEATING ELEMENT IN THE WORLD...(PATENTED)

Typical vaporizers channel air through a distance of 2 INCHES through their heating element (using poor heat conductive materials and nothing to agitate the air). Remember that "air" is a perfect insulator and that many trillions of air molecules pass the heating element in a matter of seconds. The Supreme Vaporizer channels air 1.5 FEET through the heating element, not 2 inches. It is designed to be the best possible heat conductor (un-like ceramic or glass).

The heating element is designed to contain massive amounts of heat (that’s why soo much fire power is needed to start this vaporizer). These two properties, combined with 89 heat transferring structures (highly heat conductive used to agitate/mix the air) can be found in our heating element. They consistently heat ALL air molecules to the same temperature as the heating element.

Most vaporizers have about 2 square inches of usable heat exchanging surface area to conduct heat onto the herbal chamber (that's nothing). We have 28 square inches of usable surface area inside our patented heating element using all the methods described in the above paragraphs. The heating element efficiency, in regards to surface area, is comparable to the amount of grip a large tire would have on the ground compared to the grip a thin tire would have on the ground (more surface area = more contact = more power exchange).

Our heating element is manufactured in California by precision CNC machines, robotic welding, and skilled metal fabricators for precision air seals. Everything is thoroughly inspected and cleaned by the inventor. There is no metallic taste whatsoever. 100% safe as glass.

What is the vacuum method?

I like what I read and I wouldn't mind a smaller version of that heater at all, especially if a normal torch can be used and is pocketable. That could be a game changer for portables!

Oh well, all info reg this item look good. Heating element looks solid and if I may say this is a pure convection vaporizer or am I missing sth?
Two things:
1. How do we get the $120 offer? Is there a coupon or sth?
and
2. Item is sold out for now. Do we know how long does it take for shipment?

I just placed my order...just email Ed and tell him your from FC and he will happily send you a paypal invoice for $120+shipping ($35 in my case to Canada). So stoked!

One thing i'm confused about is the max temp limits..... how is that possible when the aluminum can withstand thousands of degrees?

Lazy did you push the limit last night?!

Remember the temp read is just in one place where the sensor is. The outside of the block is hotter as it has to retain the heat and keep the plates inside at the correct temp. He uses such a high melting point metal for our protection, not so we can go crazy and heat to 1000 degrees C.
I am thinking that at 204 there may even be slight combustion going on? Never been that high on the temp scale before.

Last night I hit around 195...
And that was good enough for me!
Elite darkness to the ABV and serious milk but not the greatest flavor.
I will be sticking to 190+- from now on for clouds and stronger effects.
170 for flavor though as well as thick clouds!

@voodoo_vape
Not 100% convection as the tube that holds the bud gets very hot! I would say about 80% convection depending on when you load the herb.

Hey bro, I was too supremely hammered when we were testing, but what temps was I hitting? I think around 175-180? That seemed to produce the perfect ABV!

What screen did you use in the bottom? Homemade?

Lmao!!
We were heating to 175 to 180 and hitting at 185 to 190C!

I found a screen in my supplies! No idea where it came from!!

So I plunged in for this and an S3 is on its way to me.

Couple' q's for you early adopters.

How is reloading this thing if the tube gets really hot. You have to wait a bit before you can do a second load? And how long can it go before the block needs to be reheated?

nosmoking

Just so Dab HAppy!
I think I did my hottest session today. Since leaving the paperclip screen in I noticed the load cooks a little faster and gets a little darker so I think I need to drop my temps some. I was at max temp basically with the paperclip screen and it tasted like it was cooked from the first hit so with both screens I would lower temps at least 10-15 degrees F and maybe more.

Received my supreme today and just hit it for the first time, and holeee :shit:! I am wrecked. I followed the instructions and heated it up to 300f, and wow, lazy you were right about the supreme bro! Sorry bio but this vape won't be seeing the chopping block anytime soon. Lol. I gotta go play with this vaporizer some more.
