Using a 13V wall wart I had in a drawer and a dimmer I am able to get full extractions off of a few bong hits. Fully milking the bong up. I was on the EDGE of combustion last night and loving it. Pushed the screen down a bit to keep the ABV even. Man this thing is a little powerhouse! After that I'm wondering why I'm still considering an EVO as a second option. Damn VAS!

What Voltage do people find good for a standard dog with VVPS and water pipe usage?
Are you using a glass stem or SS tipped? This will change the voltage I use. Usually a little higher with the all glass stem and a little lower on the SS tipped style. Of course, experimenting to find your own sweet spot is always fun! :science:

I believe I have both. I was uniquely lucky to be checking the classifieds when @mephisto was giving away an underdog! Astonishing generosity. Sitting on my porch right now, 30 minutes til I'm home :D

Nice! I believe you will enjoy your purchase. Feel free to ask any questions! Welcome to the pack!
Thank you! I actually owned an underdog for a few months before my FC days, but I didn't have a VVPS and wasn't an experienced enough vaporist to really appreciate it. Now that I've got a bunch of glass and stems and accessories and technique....

Heya Dogs glad to see you guys like the video.. I know a lot of you have been hoping for something like that for a while so we were happy to finally have something to show you.

There's definitely a lot of close up and personal labor involved with the making of each Dog, enough that we're usually pretty busy trying to keep up with demand. I think we do a pretty good job at it though.

Alright speaking of work this Dog is off to the shop! :peace:

Have been trying to compose a thanks for the underdog and also trying to post to this thread. have been so medicated that I'm mostly reduced to music listening and novel reading. Will post beautiful pics and milk shots later. In the mean time I <3 my log and it's perfect. Hits like a mini cloud evo at 14v if you have proficiency with vapes

As everyone has said, what an awesome video and thank you for sharing! Really puts all of your other designs into perspective, can only imagine the work!

It's a Bocote kinda day today; I've been posting these pieces around and there are many more shots in the JoDa glass thread, but these are killer with the Underdog! I got a carbed GonG made up too, and while I still ultimately prefer the one hitter style snaps, it's pretty gnarly! Nice being able to clear intermittently while hitting. Ah, but the percing on both of these is really nice, retains flavor but still cools it off. The purple stacks up really nicely! The green one smashes the bubbles off the side, I think it tastes a bit more pronounced in it but it's kinda negligible? Fun using my dogs with though for sure!

Cheers all!

Oh, almost forgot! We also got a stash of those vinyl stem caps you can use to put a lid on your nylon and standard wall glass stems: http://underdogvapes.com/vinyl-cap

And we added muslin bags to the website: http://underdogvapes.com/muslin-bag

And... Underdog made another small batch of regular stainless stems since they were so popular: http://underdogvapes.com/ss-stem

We should also have more oversize stainless stems by the end of this week once Underdog has a chance to get to them.

Still waiting on heater cartridges...

Would anyone know how to easily take off the o-ring off the air core? It seemed to have slid all the way down to the bottom and its stuck unfortunately. Pliers are too big for me to get all the way to the bottom

I just paid my invoice so the waiting game begins proper like now :). I decided on a birthday present to myself & it was between a Evo & a Log vape & one look at the UD site made my mind up. How could I go past one of those holiday specials? What a bargain! One thing led to another & I have ended up with a very different vape & could not be happier so far .

This vape was meant as a "tester" before I get one made in some wonderful Australian wood & all of a sudden I am buying something different & that only means that when I inevitably get the Aussie wood I will have to go fancier. I know how these things work & it always works out poorly for my saving habits.

I am hoping this will replace my EQ as my daily driver since 90% of the time I am alone when I vape or with one other person. A new vape calls for new glass & a classy vape calls for classy glass :2c:.

A paperclip? Dab tool? I have thick fingers so I always have to use a paper clip to put my O rings on any of my dogs, just can't get them on right otherwise lol.

This actually reminded me of something though, kind of in relation to my last post. I really love my JoDa carbed GonG but I find that it works significantly better with my Standard Cores. A much more thorough roast.

The glass is thick on the GonG, and I don't think I'm getting a great "seal" with the Air Core's in regards to the JoDa GonG. If I push down too hard, I worry bout pushing the O ring down, and I don't need have as proper of a seal with my wooden Ed's stems or stock glass seems like (thinner glass/metal maybe helping via some conduction?)

But with the standard, I can "lock it in" so to speak and just found I was getting denser hits and was cashing out the GonG faster. A different dog for a different day!

If it's stretched and slid down it's done and will need to be replaced with a new one. To remove the old one from the bottom of the Air Core I'd suggest carefully using a long thin knife (like a steak knife or paring knife) to push down there and cut it free. With the back of the blade riding down the core-tube it should be fairly easy to do as the silicone cuts without much effort.

Thanks! Brought it out for the superbowl w/ the GonG, and I guess my friends weren't too sure on how to use it. The NonG however was definitely a hit

Fuck...did I already break my underdog? Coming into this question fully, entirely aware that this is my fault. I ran the VVPS at 14 mostly, but at 16-17 for several minutes while taking dabs. Then I read online that this is dangerous for the vape...and my heart sunk.

The vape appears to be dead, and will no longer heat up.

Is it repairable? I'm very embarrassed to not have looked into this first. My natural instinct is to ratchet the temp all the way up, test the limits, etc. This was obviously foolhardy.

If you give us some more info on your Dog (how old it is, Air Core vs Standard, etc) we can help you troubleshoot. Have you tried running it on a standard wall-wart since then?
