So I received an email from Ed this morning letting me know that my Supreme V3 will be shipping tomorrow and should be to me within 2-3 days. I just got two new cans of Colibri fuel last night and my glass bong is clean so I will be ready!
just need to see a man about a horse and you will be good to go!!

Almost there...
Night 2 with the Supreme 3 and it is just a crazy piece of equipment!
I am not sure of the heating of the first two models but the 3rd is so simple!
I have the same torch as @steama has and it is the perfect height for heating the block!
Just watch the thermometer and stop at around 155C, i like the hotter, heavier hits!
I usually stabilize at 161C or so.
The first night i over did it a bit and hit 165C, the hits were sublime...
Dry hit it or attach to a WT, super easy for any 14mm or 18mm piece!

Micro loads? Hell yeah!
I go for around the same temp and get a massive tasty cloud!

It provides me with a heavy body stone that i have missed since giving up combustion!
ABV is a nice medium brown!

I've been fond of the rips I get at 180°C. Don't be afraid to ......

Sent payment recently. In no real hurry but the fact that @Vitolo says it has even better heat retention than previous models has me really intrigued.

Could someone who has a v3 verify, it appears it is meant to work with whole plant chunks more so than ground material like previous versions. Correct? I am ok with this

Given the stock screen setup, I'd say yes, chunks. However with the screen I inserted in lieu of the stock "screen", I can use ground bud just fine. The performance is very similar to the V1 that I have.

Still a noob with the Supreme... Getting better every time I use it though!

So what is the hottest I can go without causing any damage to this vape? Instructions say don't go over 204 and recommend no more than 177.
I try and stay within his guidelines but even though my ABV comes out a nice light to medium brown, there are still actives left in the herb.

I see you guys going to 180+ and want to join you and i think this vape can handle hotter temps, i just don't want to overdo it and cause any early failures....
I know this vape has a lot more to offer though as you up the temps!

What would the pro's out there recommend as the max heating temp?

Just a noob as well, but I like to go slightly over 180, insert the bowl, wait for it to get to temp and hit it when it's around 180. I went to 200 and it got too hot for my liking. So yeah, between 177 and 187 for me.
That said, this pretty much cashes a load in one go, if you rather have several smaller hits you will be better off raising the temp slowly. Personal preferences.

I tried to do it as the instruction sheet says, heat with load inside the bowl, but imho taste is better if you insert the bowl afterwards and give it a few seconds.

I also took a 14f/18m glass joint and secured it to the bowl using the supplied small red seal. This way I don't have to fumble the seal out of the joint when I want to clear my rig.

Damn this thing hits so hard.

@Stu i notice that you have a Hi and a UD....the question i have is would one of the stems from one of those units work the supreme?? like one of Alans bong adapter stems?

I guess a low-profile adapter would work as well but I kinda like the additional space for grabbing onto when clearing. As is, the tube part is a bit wobbly when not connected to the vape body, a slighter longer tube and a thicker gasket could solve that. With the Supreme in place the silicone tubing takes care of that.

Glad you posted a picture. I have a glass adapter like this so I can make a similar setup when I receive my V3.

Scissor cut, SCS grind, Vape GR8TR all work the same, pretty much!
All ABV comes out a light brown for me, even throughout the tube.

Going higher in temps tonight to see if I can get darker ABV!

I have grinders, including the GR8TR. I am more wondering about whole nug pieces, as this seems to be the first version with the intention of using whole material chunks

When did you get your shipping info? Ed emailed me mine late last night but USPS tracking only shows Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS so I don't have an expected delivery date yet.
i got a notice from paypal that saying it was on its way yesterday. I checked tracking and it said it will be here Friday. as far as i remember supremes 1 & 2 took about 2-3 days as well. I am very anxious to see the differences in v3 and v2.

I'm just gonna say it. I don't like the handle.

This thing seems to me like it's just begging to have a nice wooden handle to hold on to. I'm thinking like a small pistol grip made of wood. The aluminum just feels..... awkward. Having the edges press into your hand/fingers leaves me wishing for a better grip. It's not that it's painful to hold, or even uncomfortable per se. It just seems like a proper wooden handle would make manipulating it a much more "natural" experience.

I have zero complaints about the performance, though. It took me way too long to write this post, so I guess that speaks to the effectiveness of the delivery system. The smoothness of the vapor is a refreshing bonus as well.

After two days of using pretty much the Supreme 3 exclusivly I have to agree. The shaping isn't so bad but the edges are...not exactly sharp but rough enough. While not the most elegant solution, some tape did help though. In some way it even goes along with the Fallout-esque appearance of the whole device.
