I don't yet have mine (it's in the mail right now) but this little torch has done very well for me with other vapes (like VGs and MV, a personal favorite). I've recommended them many times on FC, few if any problems. At under three bucks each I suggest getting a few (even though I've never had a problem with them except an otherwise useless safety breaking). Since they come from China and posts can be slow I suggest ordering from both links below (the units are the same):

http://www.tinydeal.com/refillable-jet-1300-butane-lighter-with-tank-p-2570.html

Two and a half bucks shipped right now. 'Such a deal'.

Thanks OF! Just ordered a couple to try them :)

You're welcome, you won't be disappointed. They seem to be immune to the 'gas quality' issues many lighters seem to have. I've got one around somewhere with most of the paint worn off the top I used big time with my VGs. It's seen a lot of junk gas I had kicking round, ate it right up, asked for more. All I've ever had to do is adjust the flame (around the fill valve).

BTW I dump that silly little cover and chain. PITA if you use it a lot. I even clip the lug the chain hooks to off, fits better in my hand that way.

@vorrange I've tried both and I couldn't tell in a blind test. @Ruta did you get any taste difference between the glass and SS condenser?

@b0 I think the lighter failure is probably in the lower percent but it won't do any harm to have a spare.
My supplied one is fine but my spare decided to give up on me the day I got it. I've fixed it and given it a little tweek which means I can nearly empty the tank before it starts to splutter.

@VapCap I am sorry I have to agree with the others. The demand can only get greater as more people see, hear about and try the VC. I know I have to place an order for at least another 3 new people. Of course I may also need a back up. I am now accepting I have a mild case of VAS or VCAS.
Perhaps you could use the 4 hole version to lure an extra pair of hands in.

Yesterday one of the included torches started leaking butane. I went to listen to the hiss, accidentally dropped it and it exploded when it hit the floor. There was no fire, but the bottom exploded off of it, and its broken now. I actually tried to fix it, but it leaked again. Kinda scary. We need to find a more reliable triple or double torch.

Another question, I always clean my vapes before first use ( OCD? :mental: ) How you cleant this one? I'm gonna receive a Ti Glassy so I think I can ISO soak everything except the o-rings right?

I find the TI woody pretty easy to clean. I just take a cotton swab, soak it in alcohol, then push it through the airpath. Repeat 2 or 3 times and it's clean.

You can soak everything except plastic, wood and o-rings in 420 soak n' rinse solution overnight or until clean, then rinse with warn water.

@b0 like you said take the rings off and Iso soak maybe use a Q tip as well.
When I placed my order I just said to myself and George it will arrive when it arrives. I knew I was in a queue and I was more than happy to wait. Which was all well and good until I got the USPS email then it was a different matter.

I found this double flame torch on ebay. Its a little expensive but the one I have works well. Its unique because its the only double torch I've seen that uses flint and I usually prefer those lighters.

"Price: $4,100.00 + $5.69 shipping"

:lol:Wow thats nuts and I don't even think its a dual flame. They could at least give free shipping or maybe a little safe to keep it in for that price

Why do you prefer the flint ones? From usage standpoint I prefer non-flint because it's easier to just push down.
Just my non expert opinion that they seem to be more reliable. Ive had a couple of peizos (very cheap ones) that got a little wet that stopped working. Like left in the car on the window armrest and some snow or rain got on them and they never worked again. While the flint ones just needed to be dried out. Again its nothing scientific but thats been my experience.

I second OF's lighter suggestion, they are the best, most trouble free lighter you can buy - and so cheap too! I have a couple of them and use them with my Vapman, Lotus and VapCap, every single other lighter I have tried has quickly died - these are the exception to the rule.

Yep, pretty tough all right. Maybe the factory used to make tail lights for tanks or something?

One thing sure, having a couple on hand should one act up (even a bit) at two and a half bucks the next move seems obvious and guilt free.......

I shortened the glass body on this one so it will still fit in the shipping tube and or the DynaStash.
I will have the short "Bodies" available as soon as I have the modular mouthpieces.

Also as this picture shows, the standard Ti Woody or Ti Glassy condenser fits all the way through the mouthpiece.

I think it is very important to have as many components across the entire product line interchange.
These new mouthpieces will also fit into an original VapCap, but will require the upgraded condenser.

As before, please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you!

Almost a third of the DX orders I have made never arrived. Got tired of trying to get reimbursed and went to other vendors. Cheap is great, but only if it gets here. ;)
