My Plenty has been pestering me to buy her a long sleeve shirt.
(think she disliked my hands on her silicone explants)

This setup only for the overly lazy.
And if your Plenty can continually cycle.
And if you're lazy.

Ease and comfort.

Grinding very fine too. Therefore, fine screen.
Drop pinch in middle of screen, makes a little mound.
Finger tip squish down lightly to spread out flat. Fun.

Don't even use upper black chamber screen anymore.
Herb barely budges because of low flow velocity.
Single layer, spread, so no stirring. No hot/cool spots in a load.
Slow, gentle and complete extraction.
(how's that for a marketing line?!)

So nice after a session to tap and brush out ABV.
Orange herb chamber disk easy to hold, grip, twist, remove, tap out, weigh, etc.
No glass tubes. Glass and I are not good together. Lazy and clumsy.
Just the thought of adjusting little screens in glass makes me ill.

Those bent mouthpiece tips are great when laying back in recliner.
Don't need to twist wrist while holding whip.

No broken glass. Cool vapor. Comfortable.
Her looks? Well, uh, yeah, she's a very nice girl.
Bright, great personality.

I had to jump back on here to leave my review. Apparently today was my one-year anniversary, which is just a crazy coincidence.

I bought my Plenty used on these boards for near-half off retail, because these are the best boards. I'm not sure how heavily it was used before I got it, but it doesn't matter. This product is a tank. I've dropped it several feet onto hardwood, concrete, whatever and it's fine. I'm terribly clumsy, definitely more than average, and this product has survived me and my buds on many adventures.

I take it everywhere. It's a plug-in so that I can get big clouds, but it's incredibly self-contained and portable if you've got a power outlet. Once the top-unit is screwed together nothing can possibly fall out. You can shake it around, throw it on a bed, carry it in a bag and whatever all packed up without worry.

The airflow is crazy unrestricted. Not quite as much as a Da Buddha, but still as much as anyone could ask for. The performance is near flawless. Huge clouds are obtained easily. Adding a water pipe makes it even bigger, better. It vapes quickly, unlike the long sessions required by the Extreme Q and portables with less airflow. It vapes evenly, *virtually* no stirring or vape-session maintenance required. No chance of combustion or really screwing it up. The bowl is large and does eat through 'erb, but you feel very bit. The large size also allows me to pack up a large bowl of ABV without the liquid pad and get a few good clouds off that when times are tough.

You do have to click the handle to make it stay at a temperature. As soon as it reaches the awkwardly-set temperature, the heater shuts off and begins to cool. You have to remember to keep clicking the handle whenever you take a hit, or periodically if you're having a more leisurely session. With the analog wheel and auto-shutoff, temperature management is annoying. But after a while the clicking motion becomes second-nature, and I don't mind/notice anymore. It only becomes apparent with novice tokers.

Parts are high-quality polymer or metal. No glass to break. You can replace all the other components for what seems like reasonable prices. All the screens and liquid pads and be soaked in iso for easy cleaning. Cleaning the ribbed metal tube is a pain. I use a pair of tongs to hold it and run it under hot water through each on for a while. It sucks, but there's a silver lining. I use a coffee filter sitting inside a wire mesh kitchen strainer to collect the residue as it comes out. Immediately you can pick it all up with a paper clip or something (it only sticks to itself while it's still wet), dry and have a useable oil (and make use of that liquid pad!) without messing with chemicals.

I wish the hose were longer, and maybe a plastic tube instead of metal. The metal can get hot enough to burn, and I want to be able to use it no-handed while gaming. The guy above me has a solution, what is that thing? I wish I didn't have to deal with the temperature management, though that has saved me from accidentally leaving it on tons of times.

If it was stolen (because breaking without replacement seems impossible) I would pay retail for it. The durability (and back-up parts) and seriously HUGE clouds were what I was looking for (coming from heavy water pipe use) and it delivers in spades. It's incredible versatile, letting you do huge or tiny bowls, and even getting bowls out of ABV. Very portable and easy to use at, say, a drive-in movie. It gives off (1)vape, (2)high-quality ABV for brownies (never burned, never uneven), and (3) even an all-natural oil occasionally. All this new-fangled 500 dollar vapes seem cool, but I will never need more than my Plenty.

3/8 in ID 1/2 in OD silicone tubing.
Fabric tube cover.
Silicone straws.

Nice hookah like relaxing experience.

But, when using Plenty handheld with silicone bent tip straws, it's very easy to hold vertical.
Twist straw so it points about eight o'clock, then hold Plenty rib high.
Your elbow makes a comfy angle like holding a drink at a party.
Can look straight ahead while drawing, no more bong-like stooping.
Improved ergonomics were a surprise bonus for me.
(was just trying to avoid drooling while keeping Plenty vertical)

This may help flushing iso or PBW residue from inside of steel coil:
Sink faucet spray adapter.



Cut, attached to coil with silicone tubing.
Makes good seal on my faucet. No more spray in face.
It's so light that it hangs from faucet.
Don't need tongs.
Like your idea of coffee filter in a strainer to catch any residue.

I've tried silicone stopper plugs in past to conserve.
But when I tried bathing coil in hot water, expansion forced plugs out.
I like hot iso. Learned advantage of heat while cleaning Crafty CU.

Got standard pint mason jar at Michaels.
Withstands heat, lid allows expanding gas to escape.
Mason jar fits inside 1 quart pyrex measuring cup.
Pour hot water in measuring cup - makes a nice hot bath.
(when cooling, burp lid to avoid vacuum seal)



Cool how the light refraction distorts the mason jar and coil.
Don't stare at it too long. Strange visualizations ensue.

Sincerest appreciation of the huge amount of practical plenty tips! I'll refer back to this often. I'm on my way to get some 3/8ths ID silicone tubing now and that should be a huge boost. It seems like the cover and straws are just icing on the swankiness cake, or do they more practical than I realize?

Could you explain about the cycling you mentioned a few posts up? Like, is there a way to make it stay at temperature? I feel like I tried holding handle continuously and it required a second release/reclick to engage the heater again.

Is that picture from Todd and the Book of Pure Evil or a David Lynch movie? I feel like I've seen it....

About that Plenty heater cycling topic:
It appears from feedback here that my Plenty is rather unique.
If I keep my handle's "dead man switch" depressed, my heater will continually cycle on and off.
All night once. Oops.
Now have a Belkin timer on the end of my Plenty cord.

For other Plenty owners who must release and press:
I suppose you could still hang your Plenty on the coffee mug tree.
When needed, give it a nudge up then back down, to release and repress.
That iron loop at top is perfect height to support silicone tubing.
Without it, the silicone would bend over on itself, pinching off flow.
That loop also supports the light weight of the tubing and steel coil assembly aloft and out of the way.
Easy to remove and replace orange herb chamber this way.

Don't own a bubbler like D020-d, but seems easy enough to use this mug tree/silicone tube setup with one.

Yes, the fabric tube cover is just a "nice to have" item.
Put cover in washing machine when changing out stinky silicone.

Handheld use:
The colorful silicone straws with detachable bent tip mouthpieces are great.
Buy em and try. Can always use them as regular straws.
Really improves ergonomics and reduces fatique when using Plenty handheld vertically.
Also can enjoy long slow draws better with smaller mouthpiece.

Little ergonomic things can mean a lot.
When my tremors get bad, the silicone straw acts like a shock absorber.
Can even move around and dance to Juan Luis Guerra
No glass. The orange herb chamber is good gripping size.
Manipulating small tubes and screens is not easy for me.

Some folks dislike the helical steel cooling coil. I think it's genius.
Helical coils improve heat transfer. Plenty also uses helical geometry in the heater.
Bends in flow generate Dean vortices, first studied in 1928 by uh ... Dr. Dean.
And it's steel. Big plus for me.

Sooooo, my Plenty arrived today. They replaced it free of charge, took 4 weeks, but would have probably been quicker had it not been christmas and i also sent it 2nd class which took like 3 weeks to get there haha, cheapskate.

I can honestly say i wouldnt have contacted them had it not been for you guys here, it probably would have gone straight in the bin lol

But i got a new one, with all the bells and whistles too, never had a liquid pad, nor a little brush lol Chuffed to bits.

I would highly reccomend Storz and bickel as a company. I did get a flowermate v5.0s in the meantime, it did a job, but the flavour was a bit shite, for £35 second hand on ebay it was great value, i wouldnt pay full price for it though. So gald i have my plenty, gonna get ripped tonight boys! (And gurls)

I just ordered one of these. What are some of the best mods you can do to the plenty? Would you even recommend modding it at all?

No mods for me, just load and rip... I did like the hack of using the brush as a kickstand though. Stick brush handle into one of the pilot holes for the screws near the base, and it will act as a kickstand allowing you to set it upright.

Thanks for the tip. A stand will definitely come in handy as I'm used to having one (ex Extreme Q owner before it broke and Arizer refused to honor the warranty blaming user error)

I'm considering the Plenty but heard about it shutting off every 90 seconds or something like that. Can you please explain this in detail as it sounds like something that would drive me insane and is enough to make me want to avoid it while it sounds like an awesome vape if it wasn't for that annoying feature, but I may be misunderstanding it.

the plenty is, and has been my daily driver for 3 years. I also have the ha 2.2 which I use for bags only. the plenty is a volcano without the bag or pump, it's the best bang for your buck out there if you like heavy hitting vapes in my opinion. it's not for the faint of heart or sippers. thus vape is for rippers. heavy, dense, COOL vapor. can't be beat.

Thanks, but before I even consider it I need a clear explanation of that 90 second shut off timer as it sounds like it would be incredibly frustrating to use unless I'm misunderstanding the shut off timer. I've heard 2 people explain it in 2 different ways and I don't know which of the two, if any, are explaining how it actually works. One said it forces itself off for 90 seconds each time it reaches the set temperature, does that mean you need to wait 90 seconds before it heats back up before each draw? That's more than enough to make me want to avoid it and get something else instead, unless I'm misunderstanding.

the auto shut off is a pain in the ass until once you get used to it. you first set your temp on the dial and wait for the red heating light to shut off. then you start hitting it, after 90 sec. the heater shuts down and you have to hit the button to start the heating back up. during all this time it is still in the zone so no need to wait. unless you let the temp get too low before you click it on, then you would have to wait a bit. honestly, once you use it it becomes second nature. I think it's the best bang for your buck on the market. the pure convection of this vape cannot be topped in my opinion. get it, you won't be sorry. you need to use at least .25 grams in order to cover the bottom screen. always use the liquid pad unless you fill it to the brim, you won't, it's enough for like 4 people if you do fill it. the pad DOES NOT inhibit or degrade the vapor in any manner. the dudes who say that are totally wrong. just have to clean in every couple of weeks.

Thanks, but I'm now leaning more towards a volcano with solid valve as I like its adjustable size chamber (the newer easy valve has the same sort of fixed size chamber as the plenty) so I don't need to use and clean pads for smaller amounts.

Had a boys night yesterday with a lot of different devices in the room. In addition to the good old Plenty, we had a good mix of newer portables: Crafty, a Solo, a Mighty, a Grasshopper, Ophos, plus a little combustion here and there. All those portables are great, but man did the Plenty rise above the rest. When that thing gets rolling, the hits are massive, cool and tasty. We also have a Volcano between us, but on this night like many others it got left behind because the Plenty can do it all.

Just saying. The Plenty seems to get overlooked in the S&B lineup but it might be the most impressive of all of them. Only reason it doesn't get used everyday is it can be just too much for one person with its large, flat bowl. But its definitely a monster.

I agree with you 100%. IMO the plenty is my choice vape, even with volcanos in the room.

Hello everyone, I just joined the Plenty Club I ordered directly from the Manufacturer (S&B). Picked up the Plenty Complete Kit & extra Wear and Tear Kit & extra Bowl Kit. That way I can be using one while cleaning the other coil and bowl. Hoping it will be here Friday.
I know there's been some discussion of bowl size and efficiency on here(I've read this whole thread), I can TOTALLY understand why it might not be the Vape for Some Individuals due to the need to Conserve, as I've read that the Bowl is Bigger than my VOLCANO Easy Bowl ( in other words Massive LOL) I'm not too Concerned about that, cuz I Grow my own Top Shelf Medicine & can Jam that Sucker Full or use the Oil Pad like I would in my Volcano if I want to Conserve. I love my Digi , I use it every day and night to Medicate ( 4 Bags am, 4 Bags pm) But looking forward to something I can Pack & kick back in bed or on couch and Medicate.
I'd like to know before it gets here on Friday, where I should start on the Temps Dial ? I usually start between 365-380 on Digi Volcano & go all the way up to 420-430 to Finish as a reference. 6? Or straight to 7? Will it work with any Grind? Any Advice would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance. Keep Vaping

The thick vapor is a plus as is the fact that it's nice and cool by the time it comes out of the mouthpiece. I was a little leary of the bowl at first but saw that no taste was affected by the concentrate pad and that it really is like a handheld volcano! I own an herbalizer, volcano a bunch of handhelds but this plenty is easily #2 on my list of all time vapes! For value this is easily #1!

I had the Herbalizer but got rid of it I'm guessing that's your number one vape? I just ordered the Plenty and I hope it does better than my current setup of the Herbalaire H2.2 and the Extreme Q.

If you can feed the Plenty, it will always be a hard, heavy hitting vape!
It's a lung powered Volcano!

HA2.2 is a beast in bag mode.
Extreme Q i did not really care for.

I found the HA2.2 to work well when attached to a glass piece. Does the Plenty work well with less amounts of herb used with the concentrate pad?

Yes it does work well with less and the oil pad.
Still takes a fair bit to cover the screen though.

Truth

I Also didn't care for the Q, and I do believe the H2.2 is a beast with bags as good as volcano perhaps. Maybe not as convenient but still great and great for multiple bags at once. Something people don't thing about when you are filling multiple balloons is that they're all the same quality, when you fill a bag 5 times it's 5 different qualities. Hmmm. Makes me wonder what the taste difference is like.

I do not own a plenty but I will try it next time I pick up my medicine for sure! My guy owns a volcano and plenty and I will ask him to break out the plenty I'm sure he'll be happy to.. Who knows he may even lend it to me since he doesn't use it often!

Very true about a lung powered volcano!!! It hits hard and dense!
The h2.2 is solid but i'm not too keen on the extreme. It takes too long and the bowl shape wasn't for me.
