Both of them are, because they didn't just extract the resin and throw out the filler!

You are talking to a couple of hashmakers/extract artists here though so you should not be surprised to hear that we are super precious about preserving headies.

Usually i'm really caring for my precious trichs too, but sometimes things just don't go as they should and you end up doing things a bit different lol.
So beware, there is some heavy trich abuse in this story

I did a couple of bubble runs recently, and one was of a bag of dried Lemon Haze trim that i forgot i put in the shed and that edured everything from -10 to +35 degrees celcius for over 2 years, and the other was a bag of fresh frozen Lemon Haze trim that had been sitting in the freezer for over 1,5 year.

The bag from the shed produced a brown, terp-less bubble that even with heating would not form into a hash, and obviously was an absolutele no-melt on the nail too.
The bag from the freezer half dried in it's long stay in the freezer, but produced a very fragrant, full melt bubble, full on potent.

I made some coconut oil with the no-melt bubble and to my surprise it had about the same potency as to what i'm used to when making edibles with fresh material. (the lack of terps made it better border proof too lol) I was actually hoping for a more sedative effect, and maybe it has that a little bit more than usual, but still..

So back to curing and taste; none of the material was cured and even though taste-wise a LOT had changed. Potency-wise, not so much. The fresh frozen was just fine, of course not as good as a full cured one, but it's full of terps, has a pleasant hash smell to it, and is full melt, much to my own surprise.
