i'm not poor. i can afford almost everything i want. ignoring smartphones because i don't want to be on the grid. also don't have a Facebook account nor Twiter. don't need any of that shitt to be addicted on. and don't call me a poor again, OK?

Mister G was being sarcastic and wasnt saying you were monetarily poor. He was saying that it was unfortunate that you were misunderstanding what people were already saying. I'd recommend not worrying about features related to the grasshopper and smartphones as those features won't be off use to you. If you don't have a smartphone the "stylus function" won't be of use to you and for some phones it probably doesn't work for anyway. That's probably something they'll fix in Grasshopper 2.0 though:2c:

A few (billion) pages back someone mentioned having dial temp calibration issues. As in the lower settings (like 1) were acting like the higher settings. Like 1 was really setting 5 or something like that.

What was the fix for that?

I'm really disappointed by @zymos's purple Ti failure the most. He had the latest finishes and a ridiculous ride only to see issues arise in a very short time nevertheless...

I just have reiterate how awesome the crafty cooling plus grasshopper combo is. Been getting bigger clouds then ever since using it. I can't imagine how much better it can be if I had an actual 100% seal.

Truth to prevail
After enjoying my 4th replacement hopper for several months I'm sad to report this one has died as well. Flashing blue/red lights, completely out of the blue. No drops and normal daily usage. It is possible the back end was slightly warmer the last few days, just fyi. Im guessing they are related. I think now I have experienced the full spectrum of reported problems so maybe the next one will be THE ONE? I can only hope!

Mine was kinda similar.....1 was 5 but that was it, the only setting that worked...on arrival like that.

At least mine wasn't DOA like some people's. Though maybe I wish it had been, so I wouldn't have known how great they can be when they actually work.
Thanks for the sentiment though. Still no word about my warranty claim, really hope to hear something after the weekend.

Anybody have an idea how many GH chambers to a Pax2 chamber? I know it's strange but this math will help me know if I'm conserving more herb overall. Before the GH I was pretty devoted to my pax2. My best guess is at least 2 maybe 3??

That'd be me :D (not to gloat), it just came to me whilst talking about my crafty, whilst on this thread and Volteric tested it straight away.
So glad everyone is enjoying it ;)

Although, after all this talk about it.... it's making me so impatient with my grasshopper preorder.

I check the grasshopper order page atleast 2-3x a day, in hope it might miraculously say "January" instead of "march2016" :cry:
Also check this thread daily.

As a joke my girlfriend says I have a "grasshopper addiction" and that I need help hahhahah.... But there is always a kernel of truth to every joke I suppose :rofl:

I tried the GH without the CU at setting 4-5 and I just can't tolerate it. It's just way to hot. But with the CU it is not only tolerable but cool enough that I'll get a toke or two more than without the CU. Which leads me to answer my own question above: the GH chamber holds 2 pax2 chambers. I get about 6 tokes per chamber on both sometimes 8 w pax2. This means I'm getting about 100% more tokes on GH with CU in comparison to the the pax2. That would be half the price for material. It's not precise math but you get the picture: there's a huge bump in effeciency!
