Pen Imag Plus

Ibullet offer you a lower temp session and a bit of convection, so clouds are a bit thinner and taste is not spent too fast, anyway they are a pia to load.

Clouds chaser will still love it and flavor chaser can get a decent taste using ibullet or"lower" temp. Will stay a great contender for an affordable price.

I would like to see as well another improved mp , or maybe a stock mp+ a glass mp i.e...

ps: the led screen om my unit is not right and move when moving the unit....

I've been messing with the IMag3 since receiving it earlier in the week. Still not happy about the 385˚F minimum setting. To work around this I've inserted a glass borosilicate screen into the base and while using it I give a two handed hold. Use one hand to cover the USB port at the base, and the other hand to seal the mouthpiece while inhaling. Sessions have improved with a 2nd person added to the formula. One person can be inhaling while the other is holding their draw or exhaling, and passing the device back and forth keeps cool air moving through the chamber when held properly to seal the end and the mouthpiece. Without this setup, sessions turn into combustion quickly.

Sorry but mine doesn't combust...I experienced the opposite, a lightly thinner vapor than Imag+.

I don't understand how blocking usb port and mp could help, I don't think air inlet is usb port and there is no air leaks on my mp....

Intended air inlet is the four holes on the sides of the herb chamber externally at 90˚ intervals. Additional air is coming through USB port and fresh air leaks in where the mouthpiece connects to the body of the IMag. The air leaking in through the mouthpiece is cool fresh air, there is no seal, there is a 360˚ gap.

A session can last 3 minutes for me with these unintended air leaks sealed keeping taste to my liking. Without the leaks sealed, over the course of 3 minutes things get too dark for my taste.

I should add to my previous post that the borosilicate disc goes into the base of the chamber, not covering the USB port if that created any confusion.

for a light user as myself,
i'm extremely satisfied with my Imag+ after almost months.
the 3 temps are great and precise for my taste,
and the product is still in great condition.
i recommend any noob/budget user to buy it.

one thing though, regarding the vaping itself,
as opposed to smoking,
i DO get kinda like a Menthol sensation in my lungs, the days after i vape,
like a residue of the vape inhaling..
i guess this is one downside of vaping?

Days later? Easy way around that, don't avoid vaping...... Many of us just don't share that experience. I suggest posting that on 'ask FC' would get more useful feedback?

Otherwise, I agree. Imag+ is good 'first vape' to recommend. It's a solid example of that class of similar units from FM and those guys.

finally got Imag 3 vaporizer, and iBullet thing is fantastic, good taste and better efficiency, as nothing get burned ( no contact) so it's all good so far

Where are you all getting your product from?
Imag plus finally crapped out on me (even with the removed usb plate) but I am interested in getting another, albeit with a warranty.
I was looking on PIU and they are out of stock. I don't see anywhere to buy the imag3 at all as well. What's going on with the manufacturer?

Right, and its only out to reviewers/testers I believe. I will attempt a video today.

At the moment they need to fix a couple things on 3 before actual release imo. Unfortunately I won't recommend the 3 until I've had it for 6 months at least. I've seen too many failures on these.

I would not bet on that, we've no idea how long who has been in possession of either plans or an actual unit. Looked at the other way, why would legit ones be on the gray market this quickly? That is if you had genuine ones, the usual channels would suck them up at better prices? Demand through legit channels is strong right now.

Just be careful, there's a LOT of guys getting questionable gear at prices 'too good to be true'? "Know your Dealer" is still a good plan IMO.

The water pipe usage didn't end up capturing as well since I had planned to use the bottle rocket but of course my previous take was interrupted by the door and a package. Wanting to use my new toy I tried it out but realized it would be better to just go with tried and true.

If you are curious about what I was bending my head down for, I was trying to read the Imag temperature while I hit it. Normally the device lies to you and just stays at your set temp with no fluctuation. If you adjust the temperature the unit will show whether its above your set temp or below, it stays in range at least. I have seen the 430F setting go up to 446F before and down to 409F while inhaling or sitting idle for a few seconds after a draw.

IMO it's a step forward on that whole class of vapes. The 'pods' are also quite useful for concentrates and bubble hash/kief (in the herb version), not so much so for herb itself IMO.

Agreed.

I've found that the draw resistance is practically non-existent when using with flowers and no pods, such that for a one person session it seems a bit wasteful. I'll have to try it with a pod to see if that helps cut down the vapor density a bit. I'm a med user, no cloud chasin' here. Yepper, at this price point it's pretty much a no-brainer, say compared to the Imag Plus and V2Pro, both in terms of performance and additional features!

Imag3 is available, as far as i know there is only original one, made in china from relaxotech, and there are some other re sellers like vnice cig and so on....buying knockoff PAX2 for 100$ is another storie

has anyone had any issue with the mouthpiece becoming loose? mine isn't "locking" into place anymore and seems to have a gap between it and the rest of the imag when its connected.

Mine is fine, although it doesn't see as much use as when it was new. Don't they come with a spare MP? How does that one fit?

The mp is the worst part of the Imag...

My Imag3 get a really poor battery life..something like 10x3mn, the imag+got a better autonomy imo.

they are both loose, although i have since lost one. and it is now broken completely apparently. i let my girlfriend take it and she told me it wont turn on after charging. have to see if i can get the 1 year warrenty to cover any repairs(other then shipping, as usual), or if they will just replace it. wonder if i should go though PIU?

If I had any Warranty or Customer Service problems and I'd bought it from PIU (which I did) so I could use Randy to sort it out I sure would without hesitation.

Good luck with it. Powerful vape, but it has to work to do that.......

You might want to check out the new Mini Pro. PIU just got them, mine's due later today....... The Mini is my favorite FM (based mostly on size), the Pro adds variable temperatures (not so big a deal with me) but also a real battery meter (important IMO).

hey there, my name is tony, i bought the imag plus march 2015.

well, it doesnt turn on any more, i bought it from the official website.
it was working great and i was happy when i just bought it, it was my 1st real convection vaporizer and i was really excited to see what it was to really vaporize, since i only had one ego-t vape pen that actually did burn the dry herbs. so when i received my imag plus i enjoyed it a lot. approximately 6 months maybe less after i started using it, the black paint on it started falling, this was not really an issue to me as long as it still vaporizes my dry herbs, i mean, it was not a device to show off any longer also adding the robotic fart smell i got comments about a few times from people that saw me using it , but i didnt care.

now its been two months it doesnt even turn on , i remember i asked through email with ther customer service representatives before buying if there was any problem using alcohol and a tip to clean it and i was told it was ok. so i did, i used this method (usually when the smell was bad and i was getting poor cloud production thinking the chamber was clogged) to clean it once in a while and the device could still function, so everything good at this point. but that is the only thing comes to mind as a reason why the device is not working any longer , from the last time i used that method to clean the device it was working and then a few days laters stopped working, first the led started going crazy and then it shut off to never come back on, the battery appears to be fully loaded since the light is green when i plug the usb cable to my pc.

is there anything that can be done to bring it back to life?

i'll post pictures later of how the device looks.
