My secret to THC E-Cig PG-Liquid... Potent, Effective, Cheap, Easy!!!

I'd be intereseted to see how the Krypted fairs but that is a really high price for THC vs just buying straight concentrates. The dispensary I saw carrying Alpine was a delivery service that may work in your area:

https://ganjarunner.com/shop/medical-marijuana-products/concentrate/alpine-e-liquid/

It actually looks like it come in a syringe. And sells for $45. I'm guessing that's only a mL but the description lists 80% THC. They also sell Alpine brand wax. An interesting experiment would be sampling their e-juice and then their wax mixed with Holy Terps/VE and see if it is their mixing process, or just their concentrates that makes their juice work well.

Quick question. I don't use my pens that much and this is the first time I have to clean them. Is it cool if I soaked my cartomizers with Isopropyl or do I have to buy a specific cleaning solution?

Has anyone tried THC juice made by Alpine?

A friend of mine let me try some yesterday, and it's very tasty. I also noticed it's very thin. They sell their 1ml syringes for $30. I went on their site, and it seems like they are using PG/PEG as their base. Funny, their site is down now otherwise I'd link it.

Anyways, I didn't know PG/PEG based juices could taste so good. I used Puff Majic for a long time before switching over to CC, but this Alpine juice not only tastes better than both of them but also is very potent. No burning taste at all.

How do we mimic this stuff??

I enjoy the Alpine stuff and use that to dilute into puffmajic or holy terps. One of my caregivers has it onhand pretty regularly:
http://www.leafly.com/dispensary-info/emerald-avenue-ma

They come in neat little syringes and taste decent but nothing like dissolving your own shatter.

They aren't terribly strong or potent in effect, but that just makes it more enjoyable to puff on when diluted further. I haven't gotten smashed off of this as I have with flower or concentrates on a nail.

Anyone used O.pen vape fill it yourself kits?

All I have access to on short notice and I go to Jamaica on Wednesday and could do with a discreet, travel friendly option

If there is information on this thread I should know about if someone could link it I would appreciate. I am trying to work through it, but am extremely busy before I go

Mainly how it tastes, how reliable they are and what ratios people are using are my concerns

Any information would help though

Cheers guys

I have, loading straight up CO2 oil into an o.pen as well as diluting it down to 3:1 or 5:1. The taste isn't anything spectacular, the effects at those dilutions are great if you're looking to puff 10-20 times and have a nice base buzz; I don't get massively stoned but I also am a daily user.

Filling an o.pen cart is as simple as ejecting liquid from a syringe or dropper. Super simple. I do notice some condensation of vapor in the outbound channel (how the vapor travels to the mouthtip), the flavor I get from these are inferior to a tank setup BUT they don't leak or sputter into my mouth, something I have experienced with every non-subohm tank I have tried.

There's a ton of good info in this thread but it is difficult to find with the site's search option since "o.pen" won't turn up any hits: check this http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/m...effective-cheap-easy.6287/page-33#post-898134 and follow the discussion there, for example.
FWIW google offers a great alternative (use this query "site:http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/my-secret-to-thc-e-cig-pg-liquid-potent-effective-cheap-easy.6287 o.pen" and make sure you display omitted results, google assumes there are duplicates).

I only have BHO and crumble wax available to me. No CO2 but sure I can figure out a good ratio. Thanks for your help

Are those ratios in in favour of more oil to mixer or more mixer to oil?

Was going to just go with the recommended 1:1 but heard that it can be a little weak for daily users

Cheers

Weak?!
I'd say 1:1 is exactly half the strength of straight up dabs.

That means that two big lungfulls is equivalent to a single big dab lungfull, so all that's required is twice as many hits.
(This assumes a decent setup such as sub-ohm which will allow big hits with a thick 1:1 mix)

I dilute 3:1-4:1 and plan to go even thinner/weaker next time (5:1, low tolerance user here, daily though)

See I have a VERY high tolerance. And it's just the standard open vape battery's and tanks I have. No sub ohm. I don't use e cigs normally. This is only a temporary fix to make travel possible.

Hoping it hits hard enough to replace what I'm used to for a few weeks.
If not, it is Jamaica, I'm sure I can find some herb to combust if worse comes to worst :puke:

you can and will definitely find quality flower in Jamaica. How thick is your BHO? Sometimes you can drop it into a disposable O pen style cartridge as is and just massage it a bit with a hair dryer in the AM on low and hit it using the pulse technique. I've had to do it in a pinch if my concentrate is syrupy enough and i dont have time to properly dilute. It works, though a bit crudely. If you have dilution stuff on hand, 1:1 will get you plenty stoned equal parts oil and thinning agent..... flying into Montego Bay though? You driver will have bud lol.

I made a sludgy mix with some Pan's Ink and crumble, it was a mess and didn't flow well at all in the o.pen. It would melt and vaporize the concentrate permeating the wick but then would scorch and taste awfully burned.

So you'd recommend making the bho work over the crumble as well it sounds like...

I would experiment to find what you like unless you have limited access. There are a lot of variables to consider so being able to play around and find what you like is the best option, but perhaps starting with a 5 fold dilution and working toward something more concentrated is best, better to lose a little concentrate than a lot!

Cheers for all the help guys.

Think I'm going to start with a 1:1 as recommended on instructions and if it seems too thick I'll add what I can (only have 2gram honeycomb 1g shatter and 5ml ojuice, so highest I can go is 1.66:1) Sure that'll be fine for the for the crumble. We will see.

I dont want to test it out before I go for several reasons, mainly stealth. Won't go into that.

Guess I'll just judge it by how thick/thin previous preloaded carts have been and shoot for the consistency that has worked best in those.

And zebra, yes, Montigo bay. But I'm driving and we are staying very remote. If I have to, I will find some, would rather not combust or interact with too many people lol

Edit: who said anything about canna. I'm using fully legal hemp based cbd oils. Would never travel with THC

Cheers

Or bring a hairstraightener, some PEG-based liquid, squish some buds, enjoy.
i feel like this is your best option, with the o.pen juice you already bought. i get awesome results squishing rosin with just a straightener and a hand clamp, and the buds in jamiaca will be great for squishing. i was just in montego a few months ago, and you will have no trouble finding bud from your taxi driver there. and it is usually really good, just dont judge a book by its cover, it doesnt look that great.

also, rosin will be easier to mix with your juice, and will flow better in the cartridge than shatter will.

sounds like you might already have a plan that will work though, just be careful flying with stuff.

I keep hearing people talking about their coil. what is the difference between a low resistance coil like 0.8 Ohm and a high resistance 1.8 Ohm and what are the benefits? Thank you.

Simply put, a lower resistance coil can be used with a wider airflow, as the heat up time is reduced. This is just because the current can be much much higher- think of it like upgrading your internet 3-fold, you can download a lot more files at once!

for instance- when I first got my UD Zephyrus and would build 0.3-0.44 ohm coils that I ran around ~55W [theoretically, i had a mech mod only at the time] this fired up much quicker and with a much quicker draw than my Taifun GT (drilled out and run at 0.7-0.8Ohm - ~15-18W)
which I could barely get to keep up with my lung hits- it was very tight- and single coil

both of these had a much more open airflow than the Aspire Nautilus' I have- which run at 1.4 or 1.8Ohm

Now I have a Sigelei 150W regulated mod, and a very nice authentic atomizer, MutationX V3 for any who might wonder- though the screws seem to strip semi easily.. :worms:

so I run that at 78W and fill my lungs in 3 seconds with a 0.25-0.26Ohm dual twisted 26 gauge coil-
fancy stuff!:science::tinfoil:
With this particular build, I reached the best flavor, and by accident cloud density that I've had yet.
Where'd that last solo stem get to...:ko:

So basically the lower the resistance the more vapor produced in the shorter amount of time? If that is the case why would people want to buy higher resistance one like the 1.8, 2.0, 2.5, etc. in the first place? What is the benefit of it if they can't get more vape and the draw hits require more effort?

Great question!
Some atomizers like tanks and rebuildable tanks are designed with the smoker in mind- to get a similar warm and thick volume of vapor into their mouth, to then inhale from there- aka mouth to lung inhales
I actually couldn't fathom the idea of extreme subohming, and assumed it'd irritate my throat too much, as I cough for like.. no reason when vaping; especially with very strong/thickly flavored juices.

Now obviously, I have no issues with it, given I know/test my builds on known juices before trying new ones

edit- just to add, lower resistance/higher wattage coils will fire much hotter and as a result, require you hit them faster if you want to avoid burning, depending on the setup
the best way to ensure perfect control with wattage mode is by playing with the potential heat flux.. aside from having actual temp control mods available :brow:

Oh and to add more to the thread, I'm a huge fan of the Japanese cotton pads myself, can't stand the organic cotton balls for some reason..

Hello!
It's my again, and I'm really sorry for disturbing, but I think I have a problem..
I just got some reeeallly smelly Blue Dream wax, but at the moment I don't have access to any oil bong/vaporizer. Only me, BD, and EJmix. I made e-juice with ratio 2:1, added some blackberry concentrate flavour and filled a cartridge from DHgate. I took like 10 puffs and....nothing.
Next day I made e-juice with ratio 1:1 +some flavour.
Filled another cartridge. And still nothing.
How is it even possible?
Are those chineese atomizers really that bad, or is it just me?

Cheers!

I have this kind of cartridges:
http://image.dhgate.com/0x0/f2/albu/g1/M00/6C/17/rBVaGFWTiiSAHL_6AAFHv0l3oNQ359.jpg

I use mod evic-vtc mini. I vape those atomizers on ~6W.

About my mixing technique; I put a shot glass in a pot with water and boil until almost boiling. First I put EJmix, then wax. I wait like 2 mins untill it melts. Then I start mixing with syringe 'till its completely mixed (It takes maybe like 10mins, maybe a little bit more). Got that into syringe and wait to cool down.

What resistance/ohms are those atomizers at? Are you getting visible vapor or vapor but no effects? The best thing to do with a new atomizer is to start low, then slowly bump up the wattage/voltage to get your desired taste/vapor/effect without burning.

I find my sweet spot to be between 3.65 to 4.1 volts and adjust my wattage accordingly.

If I had the evic vtc mini, I'd consider a sub ohm tank, or maybe an RDA.
Low resistance has proven far more successful for me than pen style carto's, but that's just my :2c:, and I'm pretty new to this too, so no expert!

I have an RDA and sub tanks, but have only used the RDA so far.
My mod doesn't have temp control like yours, but if it did I would definitely take advantage of it by getting a titanium/stainless steel or nickel temp control coils.
I have just received some Vaporesso cCell ceramic coils for an Atlantis tank which I have yet to try out.
My ones are 0.9 ohm Kanthal, but your mod would work with the 0.2ohm Ni200 version, allowing you to take full advantage of the evic vtc mini that you have.
Running your mod at such a low wattage, when it's capable of 60 or 70 (?) watts seems a waste.
Sub ohming allows lower strength/lower viscosity/bigger clouds
