Discontinued The Herbalizer

Lol grasshopper is portable herbie bro! Mighty has waaay to much conduction for that title

The GH looks neat but they have a LONG ways to come. And it looks like the number of bowls to a single battery is a bit weak for me. I'll stick with my tried and true Mighty for the time being. It's the only portable I've tried that can medicate me like the Herbie can.

I like to hi
I juse got my ratchet SonG 2.0 and with a little pinnacle vapor tube, it kicked ass!
And of your looking for a great way to load your herbie use the scooping device from the vapir no2. I use this everytime I load my vape and have never spilt. The best part is you scoop in and it's the perfect amount for the herbalizer bowl.

I've got to go with @biohacker on this one. The Herbalizer is so ridiculously efficient with material that the extra cost will pay for itself pretty quickly.

I bought the Volcano Solid Valve kit. It's bowl is HUGE. You'll use a lot more material less efficiently.

I did have a Volcano with solid valve years ago and while the bowl is huge, the ingenious telescoping top filter holder allows the size of the chamber to be adapted from tiny to huge. AFAIK it's the only vape with an adjustable size chamber.

You might need to clean your screens

I'll go one step further: if you're having weaker performance, it is almost ALWAYS because your screen needs to be replaced, whip needs to be cleaned, or the upper bowl assembly entirely.

The Herbie team has said "just because the screen looks okay doesn't mean it is. Always pop the top screen out and inspect it against a light. I've had screens that look fine when in the bowl, but pop it out and I'd say a good 80% of it was clogged up.

Still running factory screens in my herbie bowl. Going on 2 years of every day use. I use a propane torch to burn the residue off the screens. It gets them nice and clean. I'm sure I'll replace them eventually but right now they work as good as the day I got it.

How can you tell with the fan. Does it not blow up the bag before shutdown? Or is it more subjective?

I took the cover off of my first Herbalizer because I prefer using it that way and much prefer the slimmer form factor. I wanted to give it another spin and just tried to loosen the screw on my new Herbie with a massive FAIL! Not sure what's up, I can't remember having a problem before, but with this one the screw will only budge a teeny tiny bit, less than 1/8" and I cannot unscrew any further no matter how hard I turn the screwdriver. Any insight on how to remove the lid without tearing it right off?

Do you remove your screens before you torch them or just torch them in place? I have a bunch of screens and after 5 days of usage I tend to switch them out. Eventually I clean the whole lot with PBW. I find though that some screens are getting too bent over time to still be useful. If you just torch in place that would solve my problem of screens getting too bent.

I only ever have to torch the top screen, the bottom one gets all that direct heat so mine stays pretty clean. I think what happens in my case is after a bunch of bowls the residue that accumulates in the SonG starts to melt down onto the screen causing it to get really gunked up. At that point I torch it. I use a punch to pop it out through the top of the bowl, hold it with needle nose pliers and torch it. Then brush off what little bit of ash there is. When I pop them out, I use a flat faced punch. They rarely get bent at all, but if they do I just flip the punch over and use the side you hit with a hammer to flatten the screen out. The punch also works great to press the screen back into place to make sure all the edges pop in the little groove.

I never heard of an allergy to a terp. I often get congested and am a daily user. I've wondered if my herb might be causing it especially if there are pesticides in it. How do they avoid this terp through temp control? Do they just vape at low temps? I wonder if this is affecting me.

Don't want to derail this thread with non-Herbalizer content, so I'll PM you.

But the Herbalizer aspect of this discussion would be, using the Herbalizer, you have three ranges you can work with:
1. Below your target(*) vaporization. Run your flower through a "free-style" session, and just blow that stuff off into the room. (Don't stick face into it, nor inhale what you don't want. Ventilation is a good thing.)
2. Target temp for what it is that you want. (CBD, TCH, whatever)
3. Above your target vaporization. Just don't go above your target and either toss the ABV at this point, or give it to a friend that don't share your affliction.

*The target temp would be the volatility point for what you effectively want. (In a lot of cases, the primary would be THC∆9. But not everybody, as one of my previous examples spoke to, want that. There are plenty of other compounds that have effects, depending upon one's condition.)

Of course this does little good if what you are after is really close or overlaps with what you are trying to avoid...

I was able to remove the lid and am now in slim-profile Herbie heaven! I completely forgot what a power punch the Herbie vape signature has! herbalizer now does biz again with Canada and even PV will be getting stock again (finally)! So Herbies, parts, and most importantly honouring warranty is a non-issue for Canadians now. I also had the pleasure of using their website chat portal a couple of times, and was quite impressed with the friendliness and laid back convo we had!

I don't think i've EVER had a tastier bag experience and I used to HATE bags! Mostly i'm using the whip to WPA and glass water tool, but hoping to have a HT in my collection soon.

HERBIE RULES!

I'll try if I get a chance, but pretty sure there is a pic in here somewhere since i'm not the first to do this.

If you're so high, why is it so difficult to imagine the Herbie, but with the lid and storage tray compartments vanished into thin air?

I should have added to note that although the Herbie functions great this way for my needs, it also removes the ability to use the aromatherapy function (oh no! lol) as well as no greeting screen messages, as you need to press and hold the vaportherapy button to turn it on and off.

Can anyone please PM me for the secret easter egg or whatever the big deal about that was, that i've never seen before and feel like i'm missing out lol

I'm quite upset about the easter egg I can't imagine what it is but have tried very hard. Yeah, don't really need a picture was just thinking it sounded cool. For the record I don't think hydratubes are great with the herbalizer unless they have a fairly large can, because the thickness of vapor and hits depends a lot on having a little drag into a larger chamber in my experience. FC-UFO + Hydratube has been great though

Someone will help us dude! Uncle @Vitolo we need you! :) I thought it was the screen saver with bubbles/eggs but it's not?

I completely know what you mean about the HT, but even with my glass bubblers I don't get insane milk, simply due to the convection properties, just like other convection vapes (My Herbalaire is the same). However, upon EXHALE OMFG! Talk about thick incredibly quality tasty blue vapour!

What is the FC-UFO + hydratube that makes it better? Never heard of FC-UFO. Which HT do you use? I just think HT is the way to go to eliminate any tubing.

Herbie running cool??

My Herbie seems to be running cool, but I need to do more testing. Who else had this problem, did yours just run way cooler than the set temp?

For example, starting a fresh 0.015 gram load at 425 F, I get a little whispy vapor that's almost invisible.
Then move that exact herb to the miniVAP at 390 F and get a big ass cloud of vapor.

I'll try some more but it seems to be sick.

FYI, it's not the screens or whip as I use neither (actually just the Herbie bottom chamber which has a screen but it never gets dirty).

For others with warranty experience, do they e-mail you a postage sticker (for free postage) or how does it work?
Thanks :(

Bummer dude, but OMG 0.015g in the Herbie? Have you tried .1-.2g? The MV has a smaller bowl no? Although I do remember you modding your Herbie with the MV basket and such. My Herbie has blown me away, my new favourite desktop by far! And I have a MV on its way next week!
