Discontinued Supreme Vaporizer

That handy black temp-resistant cardboard heater cover!
Did you ever hear anything from Ed about it being discontinued for some reason?
I tried to find the posts from long ago that referred to that cover.
It appeared for a time, and then I think it was sold as an extra accessory.
I can not remember when it was discontinued entirely, but I do know that it was no longer available.

Almost there...
Anyone heard from Ed about shipping ?emailed him a couple days ago no reply yet.

I have been paid up for a week now and nothing from Ed.
E mailed him after I paid to ask a few questions and zero response...

In his first and only reply, he said it takes two weeks to ship. Maybe once you pay he just ships it out??

Also noticed no stock on his website and none for sale on eBay either.

He never told me anything about that two week waiting period. Maybe he is building them to order?

I haven't payed much attention to the homepage as everything seems to be out of date there. I checked via wayback machine and the message about the waiting list is up at least since december 2013.

I know we get a really special price on this one but the information flow needs improvement.

He specifically told me last week on wednesday he could ship in a day or two...so im hoping he could them out and just hasn't gotten back with us. Also am very appreciative of the price discount but like Herr said the flow of info could be improved. I don't mind being told it will take longer as long as I'm being told something...and that something is the truth !

Just sent out a follow up email..we will see

I haven't ordered yet but emailed him about getting an invoice a few days ago. I'd like to buy it during the January sale. No response yet. If he usually responds quickly and isn't now maybe he's sick or on vacation.

I found the simple cover that used to be supplied by Ed.

I still got the ed cover and at one point i made a backup cover for my v1 with cardboard and electric tape. Basically the same thing.

The v1 cover was a sock. Sounds crude and odd but it did work and you could just put on the sock and stick it in your pocket

It looks like on the v3 Ed may be making the SS heatsink himself inhouse vs. subcontracting out for the old one?

It does take some time to heat, but this was the first portable powerhouse vape available. And it still keeps up with anything in heat retention and vapor production

I know both myself and SM55 have stories from way back using the Supreme in some funny places. Even if you can't be seen, the torch sound for so long always has people wondering.

I keep hesitating contacting Ed because I am so strapped for cash but i need this v3 upgrade in my life

Ed sent me a tracking number on Wednesday and the unit was delivered at 4:13pm on Friday. I left work at 4:10pm. :disgust: I'm actually looking forward to Monday so I can go to work and that's a first.

He isn't the fastest to reply to emails, but give him time and I'm sure he will. Patience, grasshoppers.

Just fired up the Supreme for the first time and it is wonderful. It is amazing how this thing retains the heat. Wonderful hit. I got the screen down and just watched his demo video to get me started, but, this thing needs much better instructions or photographs to show how the silicon pieces are to be used. Still don't know. Small inconvenience that I am sure I will eventually figure it all out.
the design has changed from models 1 and 2 so sorry i cannot help you on that...waiting patiently for mine to arrive. this VAS thing is serious!!!

Hey friends, for the time being there are more images of the Supreme 3 using the red washer and silicon pieces.

This too: Ed's youtube channel edv1n420
How are you hitting it??? I am not a glass guy dont have any bongs...supreme 1 and 2 came with long whip tube to hit. Looking at the pictures and some of the videos on youtube got me thinking i may have to holla at @Ed's TnT to see about making a nice stem for this...hmmmmmmm!!

Outta the box is was ready for my 18mm mobius reti. I told Ed what I was using it with so I think he just set it up for me. I have figured out all the silicone pieces and red washer thanks to the youtube channel. Very easy, pure, powerful vape. Having a pretty difficult time typing.

:brow:
LMAOF!!!! i know...the density of the vapor just boggles the mind. I just contact edtnt about making me a wooden stem for it.

I like it that you can insert the stem after you heat the block. I did have some difficulty inserting the stem into a piping hot unit as my finger dexterity is about on par with Michael J. Fox's. :ugh:

I'll post more thoughts as I get to know the V3. One thing that I will say it that it hits like George Foreman. :ko:

Just so Dab HAppy!
About how long does it take to heat up the v3? About how long does it retain heat? I realize this can vary, but a rough idea is all I am looking for.

How much can be loaded in it and how does load size affect performance?

Heat times will vary with the size of the torch you use. if heat retention is anything like supreme 1 and 2 then this bad boy is a beast. check out the youtube link in steama's post.

Only a few days left until February. I haven't been able to place an order yet. No response to my emails. The Supreme 3 looks really interesting but it looks like it might not make it to my home. I'm disappointed.

Have those of you waiting for a response recently heard back?

The stock setup uses a coil wire as a screen, so ground herb is not really an option. I like options, so I put a basket screen in from the bottom side that fit perfectly from my Okin. Worked great for a nice ground up load of .17g of King Louie. Super even ABV as well.

Granted, the unloading is not as quick and a toothpick was required to dislodge the load using a screen. But it was fairly easy to do and with a little blow through the stem, it seems clean enough. I think this will be my preferred method going forward, but it's my first day with it, so who knows...

No answer but he sent me an online generated tracking number that "does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date" for now. :ugh:
So, as far as I can tell, he still hasn't shipped mine out or USPS hasn't updated the shipping info yet.

EDIT: Got a mail. Mine will be shipped out tomorrow, they ship within 5 business days.

Would you trust the Supreme v3 to stay standing after use or do you instinctivly lie it on its side? Any obvious ideas cases come to mind when transportingHow it? How does it compare to Supreme v1 in regards to taste? I'm ready to pull the trigger if for nothing else to show support for continued creation.
