Discontinued Haze Dual V3

Today is a day of disappointment. My Haze needs to go into the shop. I never mentioned it before because it always worked fine but I always felt that the oven switch on mine seemed looser and had a lot more play on it than the old 2.5 I guess I thought that it may be due to a design change but now I think its a flaw. The past few days Ive been having issues with one of my ovens not heating properly. Then today the switch got even looser. Anyway I have faith in the customer service at Haze for I expect the situation will be rectified in short order but now I am going to be with out a vape, I figure probably for a couple of weeks on turn around time. And thats the disappointment. No second vape as I have no income ( awaiting determination on disability, bureaucracy takes forever ) so I guess its may be back to combustion for the time being. sigh

Just sent you a PM shetts. Oh how I hate reports like this. :(

Yeah, but every manufactured device can have bad components, or wear out. Mass produced parts can have invisible flaws in a small percentage of overall product. If you get the bad grommet, then the haze made with it will have issues when the hundreds wit pristine grommets will not. Think of your car and how many things can and do wear out or start out bad. Hell, my car had a bad computer component out of the box that resulted in transmission failures.

Were all different and have various benefits with CANNABIS!
You know which portable I use however I like some of the features the HAZE 3.0 has! I was thinking to add it to my quiver this year sometime. It looks promising?

I'll dream of one day owning a HAZE 3.0 before I died.
This GDP is almost gone.
Looks like I have to switch to OCEAN GROWN OG?

My GSC supply is gone!

I miss my Haze 3 which is on its way to wherever they go to be repaired. It doesn't matter that I have several other vapes- I feel deprived.

Yeah, its just one of those things Scott. I worked in manufacturing for decades both as a manager and on the floor. I can tell you that there is no manufactured product put out that is 100% perfect. Theres always going to be a few units that have issues and thats just how it is. As I like to say, the only real form of perfection man has seen was Christ, and we nailed his butt to a cross!
Perfection is over-rated. I have full confidence is Haze and their customer service, its one of the main reasons I bought a Haze. Once
my home situation stabilizes I plan on getting a back up Haze, so I have one around for friends Im trying to covert to vaping.

One last thing, I have received several PMs from people offering to help me in my dark days ahead. I am very touched by the kindness of the FC and Haze community here. You all rock! Thanks for being so awesome.

Hi Chili,

They are made to come off for cleaning if need be.

Pull them all the way off then pull the stainless part off. Reattach the silicone part first (it will line up if you look closely). Once you have the silicone on you can put the stainless caps back on.

Keep the stainless caps clean of resin and you should be in good shape moving forward.

@rshetts FC is a great place with a lot of love. Thanks for the understanding! We will get you fixed up quick!

Hi Guys, I have been loving my Haze! Has anyone noticed that the new cans are made of what seems like a softer metal? They are awful, They are more "grey" in color and softer, almost like aluminum. They are lighter and even sound different when you tap on them. I purchased a 2 pack and noticed they didn't look like the ones that came with it. I have used them twice and the top tab already broke off of one and is about to break off of the other. They are definitely a softer material. Was this a mistake with a bad batch Scott? I need more cans especially since the 2 I bought won't function anymore, the lids won't stay on. How can I make sure I get the firmer steel cans?
The more I look at them the more I feel like I got a pair of knock off aluminum cans? They just feel so flimsy and cheap?
I honestly would think they were aluminum fakes but I purchased them directly from Haze so I know they were authentic. Has anyone else purchased the softer metal cans that were inferior?

You got those from us? I had no idea there were any of those left around. Those were a test and we ended up not using them so I am curious how they ended up in fulfillment. Send me a PM with our name/address (or even better the order number) and I will get you some replacements out. I am going down to the warehouse right now to investigate this. Thanks for the heads up! Sorry about this!

Yeah we package these here. They come loose in bulk and we bag/tag them up in the warehouse. It appears some old ones were still mixed in. All the employee's down there were like "we don't send those out anymore". I smiled and said, well evidently you do. :)

I have already put an order in for our good man Mr. Bonsai to replace.

They were robably just hiding in the corner of a box somewhere from way back and made a bid for freedom, when I think back it's quite impressive as I think only a few ever made it into the wild.

For me the cans are one of the best things about the haze, can put anything in them and get good results and they should last ages (I have 8 in the bags still as my other 4 are so easy to swap/clean)

Hello to all! I am brand new to FC. Not sure if this is the right venue but here goes...
I have a brand new Haze V3 and I am having a couple problems with it and hope to get some advice here.
1. Sometimes my unit will show solid LEDS as soon I turn the switch on -- before it is even started getting warm.
2. The switch seems very loose with no defining position/click.
3. Also the unit will shut off sometimes after only a minute or two of use before the normal safety cut off period.
I have sent a couple emails to support and hope to hear something soon.
I also can't seem to get the registration page for the charity program to work on the Haze website. I sent an email to customer service a week ago on that and haven't heard back.
Any suggestions for a noob would be appreciated.

they are a cool function of the Haze (still learning proper amount of concentrates to add as my exuberance often leads to what seems may be 'boil over')

Only mod for future models would be to have the cans placed in the ovens on their sides as opposed to their bottoms, so when the Haze is standing or in your pocket the cans orientation does to lead to leakage.

Woowww guys...I have been out of country for 4 weeks and this thread added ton of pages with ton of new owners. I have been reading up from where I left. This is so much fun...I could not take my Haze with me and that was the worst part. We are now reunited and it has been kicking my ass since Thursday...

I am getting more and more used to vaping. I am really loving the highs. I took the Haze with me while we went out drinking some beers in a bar and that was a really cool experience. I never thought prepacking cans would be so convenient. I really have to hold myself back for turning into a vape-evangelist when among friends. Although I guess they already got the message.

I was gonna write some more stuff about vaping and how I love it now and that it is totally different from smoking but I guess you all know that already. I am glad I stumbled across the Haze. What a fine introduction to vaping. My girlfriend had serious doubts, she doesn't like smoking mj, but she turned around
completely. I just ordered an absynth green one for my gf. So this week we'll both have our own unit.

I have a couple of glass mouthpieces. They got a little gummed up. I put them in coconut milk to soak. How long do you let them soak? Is there a trick to it? Should they be heated? I was planning on dumping it in a Nutriblast.
While on the subject, how would it be to make a blast with flowers and bud? Just wondering. Doc

Sorry this might be in wrong thread, but I was writing about the Haze mp.

@Dynalowrider just soak your glass stems in ISO then rinse them with hot water and clean with a Q-tip.
Coconut milk works awesome for soaking silicone parts to get rid of the silicone taste. It really won't help clean glass.
