I just noticed that the video on the end seems to function better with more water in my opinion

The perc looks kind of shitty but works fine. Some of the slits are unevenly spaced(see above) and some of the slits are chipped/scratched, but that's China glass for you. I have a Straight fab from Steven coming in tomorrow or the next day so looking forward to that also. Overall pretty satisfied.

really chuggy though. I showed it to a friend who is a flower expert but glass noob who LOVED it. He instantly asked me to buy him one.
steven seems to be cool enough. They get back to me quickly. They offered a replacement (it doesnt hold water) They told me that the pipe went through QC 3 times, which explains why it was wet.

There isnt any vortex though. occasionally it will vortex after the hit. I think i am going to buy a 710 and beg steven to DHL it all.

is there any chance that the FC-RattleCan will not perform as well as the FC-710? FCRattleCan is much more handsome.

thanks for the review(s) @CameraNerd! Not sure if this dampened my enthusiasm for my seller2020 iteration of the FTK or not (which i got a shipping notice for yesterday) should be an interesting piece either way, but i definitely would hope to have some vortex action. I definitely plan to test the heck out of it and report back my results

I received two Rattle Cans about a week ago, and have been using them daily. They are both constructed well- thick glass, built straight, with clean welds. They have a good style of mouthpiece and the shape is great for holding in hand.

The check-ball rattles a bit in use, as it should, and the percs work great in both examples I have. There's no issue with splashing, as some were concerned about.

The two Rattle Cans have currently displaced my lavender ccg egg as my go-to rig.

I got Steven's iteration.

It has not been confirmed that the SSS or CCG versions have a correctly constructed perc.

If anyone buys the Rattle Can from either of those other sellers, please let us know about it!

I got a hyman quartz 4mm thick banger 14mm male in the mail today. totally bad ass.. totally worth it. Will reorder. Hint: if you order from your phone, there is inventory sometimes not avail through the desktop. interesting.
If you are using titanium to dab with, you should really test out one of these hyman bangers. $12.50 delivered is magical.

I think i would get a 3mm thick banger, as the vector torch cant make it glow (for better or worse)

I messaged ccg about this earlier as I didnt see a ball either and he messaged me back saying it doesn't have a ball what a shame since it's the only 14mm rattle can and that ball is vital for the function of the diffusion pump looks like ill be ordering stevenz version which I know for sure has a ball

I got a 3mm banger from him, it's quite good. Hold plenty of heat. I use a timer app on my phone to make sure the temps are consistent.

They weren't able to figure out how to trap the ball during construction without completely sealing the bottom of the perc. That would make the ball pointless, so the ball was omitted, and the perc was left open.

There's a video on YouTube of a prototype diffusion pump and it has no check ball. So while the ball may improve function, it isn't absolutely necessary.

If enough people message it might motivate them to figure out how to build them with the ball in place. In the meantime, I'm glad Steven nailed this design.

While we're mentioning dhgate nails, I used the HQ bangers with both torch and coil for a long time, with great results. Recently I've been using the coil exclusively, so I purchased a HQ domeless quartz enail. It works really well- I find it performs far better than the banger does with a coil, and there's no risk of the coil falling off.

I also switched from their coil bangers to the enail after i was using it naked and the coil fell onto my leg inches from my dick.


Loving the quartz hybrid copy now though. I like the HQ enail but the airflow is a lot more restricted which I think makes me cough a lot more. The extra airflow of the quartz hybrid also gets my CCG torus functioning a lot more compared the the HQ enail.

which copy is that? ive got a couple of his nails now and i'm loving them but wish they had a bit more airflow

It's for a flat coil e-nail mostly. If you are just using a torch I would say stick with a banger as the airflow is not much more than that. If you have a flat coil I have to say buyer beware as there is variation in quartz dish size which could cause the coil not to fit.

The retaining nut from that nail fit on an old infiniti copy I had so I have been using that as a base as it should keep the joint cleaner due to being direct inject. I would recommend ordering it as well to make sure your coil fits as you can adjust the dish supporting the flat coil. Reasonably sure this is the same nail but I got mine through Auber over a year ago so the threading could be different (I doubt it but might as well warn you anyways). http://www.dhgate.com/product/wholesale-universal-domeless-titanium-nail/240912559.html

One other slight con is the dish has a decent diameter so a lot of carb caps don't fit great.

Or if you want slightly better quality control and USA titanium and are willing to pay a bit more check out New Vape's quartz hybrid nail. If you are using a torch I would also recommend one of these knock-off grails as they can be easily capped with a marble or anything flat and glass. The slit also makes for excellent airflow. This seller only seems to have female jointed ones, but if you search quartz grail on dhgate other sellers have male ones. Be careful with that seller, ordered 14th of January and he gave me 2 fake tracking numbers so far and neither of them is working.

Between that and the not working nut on @weenstoned nail, I won't recommend him.
