I'm not sure that there is a production waterfall bong, but we used to make them out of cokebottles and a metal bowl. You light the bowl as you drain water from a hole cut in the bottom.

Dump a whole coke bottle of water for a hit? That's not legal in California any more. Burning pot is probably OK, but wasting water?

Some people just won't get with the program.......

If someone's willing to rig up a waterfall, water recycling is only a 99c bucket retro fit away and when you're done with the it tip it on the garden. Predicted top of 35c here today, and she rains very little. Don't put your waterfall water down the skink people's!

We used to use buckets or cups!

Loving the prospect that the VG coil might turn used to into use. The VG Classic produced the best results for vapor waterfall. Hammer was alright, vapman was two person, solo was good but not too milky. Be a little bit before I can rig up a glass one, but if it works like I think it should it sounds exciting for us vaporists of the waterfall diaspora.

For science!

Was all perfect timing, thought the other day, then saw this thread. Went over today to get my vaporgenie back so I could take it to another friends to drill some glass. My mate who had the VG pulled out a vodka bottle and a normal drill set up. Used standard masonry bits, drill on slow broke a beer long neck right at the very end (drove through and smashed the base with the front of the drill) vodka bottle was success.
Mate had been using the VG and j hook without success with a bic, told him to slow down the draw and out kf the wind the bic/waterfall was serviceable. Rode home grabbed a spare torch, they love it so I left it there. Just wanted to test it, got a video and all good!
Got a mate coming out this weekend, newly single after going MIA for a year. We used to smoke bulk waterfas, and he used my Titan 1 vape and lovedddd it!
So all my current line ups going to blow his mind, and vapor waterfall is a nice nostalgic touch to the conbusting days! Never had a glass one either!

I forgot about the bit of prime time with the vaporgenie, think a slightly smaller hole would be the bomb! It a bigger bottle! As you can see in the video she stars warming into milk town right at the end, this was a fresh load and it produced another bottle of visble vapor. So slower pull or bigger volume would be stoooooid! Also tasted really good! Was going to run silicone tube from the coil to the bottom of the water to filter it, but it's already very smooth!

So I shamelessly jacked a technique from @WakeAndVape 's vapman video, he pulses the lighter on heat up as a means of temp control.

This has changed my VG game significantly. Now I generally get the heat exchanger hot with a 3-4 second go with the torch and follow up with 2 second blasts with the torch as needed, its a lot easier for me to milk my bubblers without going overboard using this method.

So thanks @WakeAndVape , I'm pretty sure you don't even own a VG but your technique is very applicable none the less.

I do have a VG...the coil.

I haven't used it in a while and don't exactly know where it is, but you make me want to find it.

Your welcome!

Glad I could be of assistance though!

A coils what I was using your technique on. Vapman should come today, I'll give it a go there too. :science:

I feel the pulsing helps me reduce torch time, it certainly let's me watch the action a bit more. Pretty neat to see the coil pumping out vapor with no heat source. When it starts to peter out I just give it another burst. A friend even got a good hit last night on his first go, another torched the shit out of it because he can't follow rules.

He's on the no fly list.

The coil was my FIRST flame powered vape.

I got it on sale at my LHS for like $10.

I burned the coil too many times to count.

Didn't realize for the longest that it was natively made for use with a water pipe. (Vapman is too)

The other thing about the VG is it got me too medicated while dancing the line between vapor and combustion.

Congrats on the vapman purchase, you will see it is a whole 'nother beast.

When I do find the coil again, I might need to get some tips from you.

This was in my first week of VG ownership....
There are many technique flaws here

Lmao

I watched your vids on YT while debating my coil purchase! The other one with the beaker as well! That's funny, I hadn't even put two and two together. Vapmans out for delivery, I'm anxious given the fact I'm around 50 miles away or id be headed home for lunch!

Before I adopted the pulse technique I had some issues with the coil through water, I'd often scorch because I wasnt getting any taste till my exhale. I thought I was doomed to use it native and through the j-hook only.

Noted. It is much easier to burn through water. When I finally shelved it is had upped myself to an 80% fail rate. I thought/think I burned through the filter so much it is thinner and more venerable to combustion.

But like I said more testing is in order...

...if I can just FIND it!!!

I'm sure I will see your conclusions on the VM in the other threaday too.

Holy shit!
I just cleaned my Aluminum pipe model VG and didn't even realize how much oil had accumulated on the body. I didn't salvage all the hash I could have but there's a nice chunk sitting underneath a lamp as I let it dry out.

Packed a bowl of herb + kief and this bad boy is pumping out plumes of vapor! I might as well be smoking!

I left my charger for my air at my girls place so had to break out the old coil. Scorched a load or two but now I'm right back up into the rhythm. Natively I can get such great results, through water I always push too hard but that's my visual feedback constantly wanting more milk. When native (wood MFLB stem) I get big clouds and great feedback from the heat on my tongue .

What a vape!

Don't use my coil much because I have others I enjoy more, butttt! No.1 end of the world pick, also fine grind full pack = many huge clouds! Small pack = few huge clouds! Surprisingly efficent if under loaded, 14-18mm and sooo cheap! Overall I'd go 6/10 for the price Id have to say 9, must reasonable priced vape on the market as far as im concerned.

I know what you mean on the potency of the bingo hits. For best effect through the bubbler I generally load around .1 which is pretty gluttonous for my tastes so I try to break it up into two sessions. Generally I kill it in one and forget what I was doing lol.

I'd say this is a pretty fair assessment. IMO dollar for dollar its certainly one of the best, even if it can be a finnicky bastard. If my filter shakes loose a few turns or if my bowl depth creeps up and I miss it I may scorch. I keep my filter all the way up and the bowl depth almost all the way down to help reduce heat.

I got this funky J-Hook the other day, pairs with the coil (and vapman!) very nicely. The little frit makes funny sounds.

ed to pull the trigger and order myself a glass bat to add to my collection! I ordered friday night so i gotta wait a little longer since they dont ship on the weekends.:bang: But for now ive discovered that an extra mouthpiece that i had lyin around for my hc vg also fits perfectly on my coil!:brow: This makes it so much better for hitting it in native mode. Now i can get huge clouds without worrying about burning my lips

I got my glass bat day before yesterday and I gotta say I fuccin love it! I admit I got a lil torch happy on my first bowl and scorched it and had to take it apart and clean it right away so it wouldn't taste like combustion. I know the piezo lighter or bic is recommended but I've been using my eagle torch holding it at a safe distance to where I can see the tip of the flame aimed right at the center of the bowl for a quick three or four second burst depending on how big of a hit you want. I get great results now that I got my technique down. It works best if you load an almost full chamber. You wanna leave a lil bit of space so you can shake it up to mix it. I like to use it for my own personal vape rather than sharing because I don't want newbies scorching up my herb and my piece because it does have a slight learning curve. I like it because I don't need to refill the bowl as often since it has a bigger bowl and the taste is much better than my hc walnut and my coil even when used with a bong I still prefer the flavor of my bat. One thing that I didn't like about it was that the bowl wasn't as easy to dump out because the herb gets stuck to the screen but I just keep a pair of tweezers handy to stir it up and also to pull out the metal rings when taking it apart to clean. IMO the vg people should include a pair with each glass bat, maybe some special ones with smooth tips so they won't scratch up the glass? But other than that it's a great vape. I love how it feels like a blunt but tastes so much better! I tried it with a bic but I felt like it was taking too long to heat up and I felt like I was inhaling a lot of butane so I stick with my eagle torch. If you 've never used a vg before I recommend that you try a classic by first because the are the easiest to use , but for me it was a good upgrade as far as the taste and the feel of the overall design. I still want to try the glass sherlock and bronze as well because I just fuccin love vgs so much , but for now I'm happy with my bat sherlocks are too big to carry in my pocket anyway.
