And that's where it ended? I would be reaching out to other team members of their staff to get to the bottom of this. Have you brought this up in the GH thread? Not very encouraging news.

I responded to them about why it would matter if I used it or not since it had a lifetime warranty....I never heard back, that was months ago, I am trying the new warranty page on the website though, maybe it will be better...idk...

Perfect, maybe they have progressed and evolved into reality. Can you imagine the amount of testing? LMAO! Did you get an email response like I did after the warranty ticket was submitted? I'll PM it to you!

But this is a pen styled vape. If they were to move the herb chamber to the back, they would have to increase the diameter of the unit for a vapor path from back to front. This would increase the diameter significantly & it would now be a marker styled vape. This compromise is not worth it as one of their goals is to make it as small as possible.

True, maybe the tech just isn't there yet for what I truly want, I'm not bashing the GH pen, I could just use the silicone piece I suppose, ah well, I would just like one that works to be honest, I didn't pay much for it, would be nice to have it even if flawed in my mind. Not sure where I am going with this, no offense meant I guess. :D

I've seen multiple people say that the heat of the vapor and mouthpiece doesn't get any hotter than a Pax at maximum, so I feel like I'll be able to handle the heat but it is the only part of the whole deal I am worried about...I don't like my mouth feeling like a desert.

I used both, I would say the GH get hotter on med high then the PAX on med high, especially the mouthpiece. note I only used the GH once and the PAX plenty.

I heard the Pax 2 did a better job with heat and flavor apparently compared to the original Pax. I honestly don't remember the GH flavor, I don't remember it being bad though.

@HillaryClinton , welcome back.

I hope to see mine ship this week as I've seen people on both sides of me have gotten theirs. Seems close but we've all had that feeling huh? Will be my first portable. It'll be nice to Vape while out easily.

Hope to see you preorders get going soon. I will probably end up with another but not until I know I won't be waiting like crazy again. Nuts thinking even some preorders are at the year mark.

So, is it fairly safe to say that preorders will not be delivered in March as indicated? I know it's been one delay after another, but after the backers have received all of theirs, and they're ramping up production, would they just change the date on their website? Has that March 2016 date posted for preorder delivery been changed before? On the actual commerce site, not backers or updates, etc.

They change dates. It seems to be loosely related to a real calendar: As time moves forward, they adjust the delivery dates into the future. This way they're rarely actually late, merely behind schedule.

I pre-ordered on their website 03Aug '15, projected delivery (for any order) then was Sept.
Once placed, my order still read Sept.
That's changed twice, seemingly arbitrarily, from my perspective.
I had thought my date was now Feb., but just looked and it's still saying January. No matter, it won't be either!
We wait. I'm banking on this: The longer it takes, the more improved it will be when one lands on my doorstep.

If your March 2016 preorder turns into summer, then mass production is going to be even later than that.
Also, any "interest free loan" is compensated by the fact that prices will almost definitely be higher by the time these are regularly for sale.

I speculate that there are numbers far in excess of a thousand on preorder.
It could be said that GHL is a victim of their own success. Not a fatal wound, but almost certainly they didn't expect the path to extend so far out.
I wish them all the best. In the notes section of my order I added, "Take your time and do a nice job!"
I also wish I could take my own advice and just forget about the darn thing for a few months!

Well, I just received a response from Caroline, and this time i'm very impressed. Turns out that my issue was a miscommunication, and I just found out that the March shipping schedule is already full, so they are saying more like April if I place my order today. I'm sure we all know what that means!

Now, I'm not a "backer", and I guess I'm a "pre-orderer"... I just want this thing to be as reliable as my trusty Pax2. I'm trying to read up on the last several weeks of posts, but it's making me neurotic.

Next post I'm hoping I'll have a review to write.

The Grasshoppers have landed! I checked after they came to room temp and both function great. Just made about half my vape collection obsolete. Bye Fake Exhale Cloud:nod: Also looks like the Versa Infinity's permanent spot on the bar will be vacant. :rip: I always get some weird looks when I tell people it's a vape anyway. Since I posted a pic in the other thread....Ti on top and SS on bottom.

Glad you heard back, still waiting on a response, honestly I don't care about the scratches mine came with at this point, hoping they just send me the new backend, really hate shipping things back.

That is some statement and it intrigues me. You and @grokit I think are the only FC members with both. Can you post some comparison remarks in the Versa thread (so not to derail this one)? I would love to know what is in store for me later. The Daisy has already made my infinity #2 in my vape world, could GH push it down further?
