If you're ripping it normally, it vapes perfectly. Nice and even coating of the same shade of brown all around. If you rip it out of a bubbler you may need to stir it up for the last hit to get that little bit at the top. For me that's usually hit #3 or 4. I only ever vape about 1/2 full. Never saw the need to put in more than that.

I always tap the mouthpiece after each hit, so the herb falls down in the trench, stays away from clogging the mouthpiece.
I have just started saving my AVB, which is all a light brown, carmelish color (I vape the GH on 2-3 and my PNP on setting 1). Is it able to be used for anything and get affects from it?
I prefer to hit it dry and sip it. Occasionally I will go water on a high temp just for those 2 big hits, but I have to be in the mood for it.
Side note, just filled out my 3rd warranty request. Same issues with this new one as the previous two, hot back end and just last night it started acting strangely when attempting to turn it on (red lights flash then shuts off, turn it on again then red lights blink, then it won't work at all. The battery is fuly charged too. After doing this multiple times it ends up working.
I asked them to send me a replacement (or one of my orders) prior to shipping this one back. I hope they honor that request. Seems like at this point they should do a little something extra for me, huh? Fingers crossed.

I put my AVB in an italian coffee pot (Bialetti) and make butter. Around 12g per cookies and that's great !
You can literally just eat it and you'll get high. You don't need to do anything else to it. Firecrackers, maybe? Toast, butter, and abv? Or maybe a little garnish on your dinner tonight? Oh god...now I'm getting hungry.

You can, if you like gritty toast. Or make something tasty and get high. I find the high to be different than the results from vaping, more body than brain effect, so I don't do it so often. For those on any sort budget, it is great to be able to use the same material twice.

I normally do loads like .03-.07g. Hopper performs best when loaded .05g+
It does the same no matter how much I load. Just more vapor if there is more herb. I don't stir or shake but may tap the mouthpiece on something to help the herb drop back down to the heater. I know I can mix the herb up with any unit if I wanted some particles not to be green my concern is the darkest color. Even if I had no green it's a lot of work to have the gH get to the FW extraction.
What do you mean by that? I've found that it's quite easy to get a really nice dark brown abv with the grasshopper. I can't imagine it getting any darker than what I get without actually burning.

adding batteries is no problem. i asked this. they answered me to make a new order and ignore its shipping date, because it will be linked together with existing one automatically. remember that every pre-orderer will get two batteries for free. so if you order 2 extra batteries you will get 4.
about adding one more unit- i don't know. i hope it is not possible, because it is unfair to those who ordered yesterday. why their order should be postponed because you changed your mind and added one more unit?

I too hate when people add extra units on to their order. It's incredibly unfair to people that have been waiting and now have to wait longer because someone changed their mind and decided to order 3 extra grasshoppers. what do you even need more than 1 grasshopper for anyway?

anywayz, we don't know if it is possible to add units to you existing order. nobody have confirmed this possibility yet.
I'm pretty sure it was possible for backers to do so. Like, 95% sure.

I'm sure some kind of whip would work as well, but if you don't often vape through water and find it a bit too much, this may impress you a little bit

I'm hoping HL make an extended mouthpiece with a built in cooling chamber. It might make the hoppers a bit long but I think it would be worth it for the cooler vapor.

They could definitely make an attachment that was an inch or so longer and I'd use it. I'd carry it with the standard chamber on the hopper and just change to the extendo when I needed it.

They could make it shaped like a J and it would be like holding two Grasshoppers side by side in your hand. To clarify... long side of the J would be same diameter and slightly longer than the GH itself, and you would inhale from the back where the clicker is.

Without getting into too much detail before the ménage trios with the 2 girls (cloud buddy and 2 grasshoppers),
ahhh but that's for another time. For now, I'll just say this vape is definitely a game changer. If I was not a backer, I would be pre ordering now and not later. It seems, for now, I was lucky and got 2 good working units with no imperfections. (Knock on wood).

I don't have an UD so I'm sorry I can't explain. But as long as there's a seal it should work without any issue. As for a whip, the hardest part would be getting a seal there. Maybe the silicone mouthpiece gets a whip pushed through or something.
If anything for attachments I'd want a male or female 18mm metal piece. Akin to how Joda makes his glass stems for the Arizer products. No hands, no worries, and no scratches on the metal. The thing that I worry most about @paytonpenn method of no silicone mouthpiece is getting my nice pretty Grasshopper scratched up, or falling out of the glass.
In any case, I have definitely started using the GH without water since I learned this. Either way, both are freaking great still.
