I just got myself a jm flow mini recycler but of course that's not dhgate and is around the 100 dollar range but it's schottz and American made. All I can say is I like it that's for sure lol

I couldnt get over the angled banger hanger on that one. pretty sure GlassArtist is also selling that model and they do video reviews.. stoked to see your review.. may have to buy that one also if steven never shows up. :D

Speaking of Steven......do any of you folks think we should give him a heads up that his reputation is slipping? Would it be worth it to write a "petition" of sorts, advising him that we want to give him our collective business, but if he can't meet some basic requirements, we will take our business elsewhere?
Is it even worth it? Will "cultural differences" prevent him from paying attention?

to be completely honest, I've never bought a piece from him I like, but I can't help but put my hopes in him because he seems to be the only one here who is actually attempting to take on-board users input and suggestions. Not trying to hate but I swear every single piece I've gotten from him has been way too small and functioned poorly. I really want him to turn it around with these hydratubes but I fear you guys are giving him a way too complicated design to be able to emulate to the quality we want it.
I Just want him to slap one of his 'matrix percs' into a side car hydratube and make it a decent/large size can and call it a day.

I'm not in the hydratube gang, so I can't help you there. I just got 2 pieces from Steven, both packed really well (double wall cardboard box, styrofoam, and 3 layers of duct tape. The FC-710 functions as it should, perc is a little misaligned, but normal as far as the other 7 or 8 pieces I've gotten from dhgate. Just got a mini straight fab, which although I haven't really used it yet, hits very nicely. May be my favorite oil rig so far. These othership pieces are complicated, and the perc on this one is off a good bit, but it does function quite nicely, and is the size it was described. Jane offered a return, but I'd need to smash this one before they would ship. I may just keep it. I really want him to turn it around too......

So, I'm conflicted. Part of me wants to stick to simple pieces, they seem to come out the best. OTOH, the mini straight fab is a terrific design, and he's charging more for it, so we would hope the increased cost would take into account the added complexity, and keep quality consistent.

i dont think it could hurt. Im sure he would appreciate it also. the competition has became much better as of lately. i say do it. why not increase the quality of what we pay for lol

My FC UFO transaction with Steven was wonderful and easy. The piece is higher quality than most American glass I've owned, and isn't far below sovereignty's more recent work--it's a must own for vape bongers.

I ordered that 3 weeks ago and received it 2 weeks ago so I have nothing to complain about. Is it possible his service differs piece to piece?

Because he's kind of becoming the Chinese hopper labs with regards to this FTK stuff, and I wouldn't order a hydratube from him without some positive shopping experiences on that specific product.

Well, you should probably give us an idea of what you are looking for, but just as a cold recommendation I would suggest either the FC-187 from Steven (or the GB-187s from yingmin5) or the FC-UFO from Steven. Those are my 2 favorite larger pieces, and are both (all 3) below your price point.

Anything that fuctions well and is smooth I guess xD. After buying the fab egg, I got addicted, and now I must buy more pieces. The pieces you recommended all look very similar. Why did you buy such similar products, and do they function differently? Also is Steven safe to buy from? Reading the replies of other FCers say otherwise.

Both of those are for combusting (large, multiple percs). We focus on vapor here, either from flower or dabs. You don't mention how you want to ingest your supply. Be more specific, and you'll get more responses.

I haven't seen anything. Someone mentioned the female joint is at an angle, that might be a problem.

Nice. It's nice to be reminded that there is western artists creating affordable pieces. China isn't our only available choice! I'd recommend you Usa-ers keep an eye on the Canadian scene seeing as the conversion rate is so rediculous at the moment! I'm sure they'll be bargains to be had

I have just removed 3 links to counterfeit glass pieces. And see that another mod has also removed a couple.

Let me repeat; we are not going to allow links or pictures to counterfeit pieces. This means pieces with a logo on them of a known glass company OR reference to it in the description (ie "Mothership New high quality torus and Klein Recycle glass bong Fab egg Holes 14.4mm joint High quality Thick Glass hitman glass bubbler")

I understand the logos, but banning it the description is being unreasonable as most listings now contain at least one brand name so that it comes up in more search results (even when the piece doesn't resemble a mothership or toro or whatever). You have pretty much just banned linking in this topic.

Listings like this are the exception not the rule, you're asking vendors to ignore search engine optimization which they likely won't do. I have no dialogue going with any vendors but odds are they will not listen. All vendors want is their pieces to come up in more search results. I don't see how a listing for a piece that says mothership in the listing but is clearly not a knock off shouldn't be allowed.
