It's the other way around. Ti holds heat better

That's not what VapeLife said in the video, not that he's an expert on the physical properties of metals. He also said that the GH isn't the best? Yet, doesn't mention what's better, and then continues to praise how awesome it is. Hopefully he's not thinking that the Crafty is better. Mine is being listed after only 2 hours of usage after demo'ing a barely functioning GH. 2+ minute heatup time without swappable batteries and probably even worse reliability? Crafty Killer!

Will is known as die hard Arizer Solo/Air fanatic. probably he feels that taste of vapor is little bit lagging behind with GH. and he also mentioned that vapor is too harsh for his throat if not water cooled.

Gotcha! Makes sense.... but everyone is different. I cannot fucking stand the airflow on the Solo or the Air, and neither is very portable when contrasted with the GH. Maybe the Air....but probably not. IMHO, the GH blows the Arizer products out of the water. Makes them seem like dinosaurs!

Well then he shouldn't be doing reviews imo if he is biased on certain vapes....

I think alot of reviewers including VapeCritic has some sort of bias.....with VC I think it's S&B products. It's up to us, the consumer to think critically and weed out the good info from the biases.

My solo and air still holds a great place for me...maybe that's because I don't currently have a hopper LOL

Arizer vapes is for flavorful sessions. GH is for bong hits and ultimate stealth when using in public.

i can see clearly myself to take a GH bong-hit while Solo is warming up before watching a movie at home. for me Solo never been a portable, but more like a cordless desktop device. never liked an Air, because it falls over very easy if heavy glass bubbler (like EasyFlow, or Aquavape) sits on top of it. and it rolls if laid down on uneven surface. yes, Arizer products are old school, but not out of date. how can supreme herb taste be out of date? :)

It's not so flavourful and supreme for me, probably due to the conduction. But the airflow kills the experience for me, not to mention the slow heat up time, and the weak heater than cannot hold a candle to the GH's.

I'm sorry, but the GH has created a new benchmark for me to compare.

if you don't load it full, then it is kinda convection vape if herb doesn't touch that steal heater surface. and I have no problem with air flow. standard stems- yes. very bad. 3rd party stems with air channels solve a problem entirely.

That's what I used to think....check out my posts in the Solo thread when I bring up "convection mode" but @OF quickly explained scientifically how it is all still conduction. But I do know exactly what you mean, but the glass adds alot of conduction. Anyways, offtopic.....back to the HOPPER!!!

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
i guys, i want to ask you one thing.
but is true that the "waiters" like me (ordered 24 august and still waiting with at least 4-5 delivery date modifications) have an extra free battery when the pack finally arrive?

i remember incorrectly?!

thanks in advance.

Yes, you'll be receiving an extra battery like every pre-order does.

Here's the best picture I can get right now, old style back end on the left new on the right:

image_zpswkxidjhb.jpeg

You can see the slight gap next to the indicator mark on the old one, that's a seam. The new style is solid, no visible seam.

That's backwards innit? Either the picture or the text below the picture.
From what I'd gathered here and elsewhere, new style does have the seam, older one didn't.
Hope that's correct....

(Edit- oh, different seam, never mind....)

I side with zymos. Think it's backwards.

The one I'm using is still functioning properly after a week of use. The back end does get hot about half the time but no other issues so far.

Can't wait to get my others (and a Ti).

I use mine sans water almost exclusively. After watching biohacker's vid I started using the hydra tube a few times. The vapor dry (to me) is more flavorful. It's nice and smooth with water, but the flavor is more distinct dry. That's why I use it that way. I use the temp setting between 2 & 3. For me, any higher than 3 (even 3.5) I started tasting the stank. The taste at lower temps is superb. And the hits are big, maybe not dense, but big clouds.

My Pro on setting 1 produces big hits and the vapor is not hot. The gh beats the Pro in flavor but the Pro beats the gh in convenience, battery life, and draw resistance imo.
Bass Viper, what vaporizer are you referring to when you mention your "Pro"?

Pinnacle Pro by Valorblunt. It's a great unit. Both of mine have been going strong for two years now. I'm very fond of the bullet technology.

There was someone in the cloud phantom thread talking about how vape life will said it was the best portable and he was super impressed with it in his reviews, this is the original Imag xmax, not even the Imag+. His opinions mean nothing as far as I'm concerned, just bc he has a website and makes videos?

Agree any conduction session vape can't compare to true on demand convection in taste efficiency power speed, even Arizer start to taste bad with the constant cooking, they mix convection a bit sure but yeah all that glass conducts, plus a slow draw to not overwhelm heater, etc. no comparison imo

Ofcourse I could be biased too bc I am just spoiled for any conduction session device now by so much pure convection... And I don't even have my Hopper yet!

I think he means the clip, there is a gap in the clip on the left old one, vertical next to the notch above the clip itself.

The new one on the right has no seam, but the horizontal gap between the clip and the dial is slightly bigger, just like in your purple Ti pic.

Got mine yesterday. SS and Ti. The back ends heat up in both devices... Emailed support last night. I have only use my D4 to charge the batteries.

They are truly next level devices though. Heat up time is incredible, and the flavor is so good. 3 is my sweet spot. Had to dump out my load of Garlic Cookies cause it kept on going and I couldn't take it any more haha I love how so little goes so far.

Ah that's a shame, you're certain they're too hot to handle? Thought we would be past this issue with new backends...

And Garlic Cookies?! Never make me any baked goods please :p lol I think you meant GSC yeah? Loved that strain, been a long time since I've had some now though

So excited, just ordered a grasshopper SS! I guess March is the estimated delivery :(
Who here has started using this as a daily? How does it keep up with "daily duties" so to speak?

I would like to know this too. I would also like to know how easy cleaning is. They all claim cleaning is easy, but for some devices it's simple not true.

Ordered mine in Nov, got a Dec delivery estimate, which was changed to Jan, and now changed to Feb WTF???

Sure hope this ti is worth it, cuz I'm temped to order the Haze 3

I would also like to know how easy cleaning is.

you just dump that mouthpiece in 99% alcohol. wait for 10 minutes and rinse it out with hot water. heating chamber doesn't require a cleaning at all. but NEVER blow inside the chamber to get out some herb pieces! you can damage that heater. take a brush and brush it out, if crumbs bother you.

then you can boil that yellow alcohol out to collect your reclaim. like you do when making a dabs.
