I saw same exact rig at my local head shop going for $135 (came with a small dab mat & dab tool). I found this on DHgate for just under $40. It was the fastest delivery I've ever recieved from China and functions well. The site has a video you can check out to see it in action. With this new acquisition my grand total of rigs is now 11.

It is always fun to watch cultures collide. The west expects transparency and good service and the Chinese want to make $$$ and rules and regulations just get in the way. Imagine how stressful it must be working at dhgate because I imagine that a lot of Americans that buy from there expect ebay or Amazon like support. I imagine dhgate has a bunch of rules on sellers like shipping within a reasonable time so they can become or maybe stay the ebay of China. Those pesky rules though get in the way of making money LOL Fake tracking numbers to the rescue!

Can anyone recommend a good small (6" tall or less) recycler? I see a lot, but none have very many reviews. Kathy has some nice looking colored ones, but they look like they might take bubbles up the drain and have a weird function. I really like my 9" hit man clone double barrel to funnel, so I'd like to try something similar but smaller

I have one similar to this, works great. These designs were popular a year or so ago, most sellers have "moved on" to fancier, larger designs. Link

Haven't tried these, but they look like they should work. I really like the honey jar.

I do not have easy access to a good selection of quality home-blown glass where I reside. Believe me, I tried.

I began my glass journey buying local - my LHS supplied me with many Weed-Star, Black Leaf, Grace Glass pieces & the like at prices that would mean I had to save my dough & then think long & hard about what I was buying, and from a limited store selection that was not really in keeping with the style that I was looking for.

And I feel that I am completely unable to afford the original pieces by the amazing innovative U.S glass blowing artists - and then have them imported to my location.

But I admire it all so much

So to get glass that imitates glass art is as good as I can do right now, & I am really having a lot of fun & enjoying it!

My shamefully branded Mobius & Honey Dripeos bubblers etc. are really a homage to the originals that I do not have access to, and will only eventually own once I become wealthy enough to justify importing my own o.g American glass.

And that day WILL come btw :nod:

But untill then, I will continue to LOVE what DHGate can offer me 'cuz quite honestly, it's the tits :tup:

We're not offended - we love it too! Occasionally there is a hiccup, perhaps due to the clash of cultures, :rofl: but a lot of us feel the same way. I've got two recently acquired pieces filled and ready to go, a "mini straight fab" and a Bates diffusion pump clone - the FC-710. Both from Stevenlmz79. Both have some small cosmetic imperfections, but I bet they function pretty similar to the originals. Copies are affordable for me, definitley not the originals! Enjoy!

I got it from a friend who got it from a head shop. I don't how much they usually go for but I'm not so into the bong style Hydratube mouthpieces. So PM me and we can probably work something out at around or below market value.

It's a bit of a chugger, very low drag and very low percolation. But nice strong glass and a very well made ground glass female joint. Definitely worth more than the vaporizer it's meant to sit on lol.

New dabber question: is the idea behind a drop down essentially that it collects your reclaim in the drop down rather than the reclaim going into the water, in effect making the reclaim nicer?

That and if you have a female joint on the rig it helps protect it from the nail expanding and cracking your piece.

The main purpose is to move an e-nail further from your face and to protect the joint of expensive glass from heat. Collecting reclaim is more of a side effect, but a pleasant one.

It is but honestly i would say don't bother and get a standard drop down. It's basically just as easy to lightly heat a drop down and drip the reclaim into a silicone container or glass jar. Trying to scrape out of this tiny jar and there will always be some stuck to the sides, and if you heat it to drip out you will need tweezers or something to hold it. Whereas with heating a standard drop down you can just hold the other end. Not worth the extra cost imo.
