Dual Ti Gen 3 @20w is bomb. Great flavor, Great vapor production, Easy clean up, Last forever and with medium+ power consumption. And very stealth using 18350.
Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

I'm on my Honeymoon in California and my Persei top has burned out, and I got a face full of robofart! I was using kiss globe with Ti dual coil. Aggggh. Can the Core (with Persei insert) be used with the 8?
Another question: Should I buy an 8 now or should I wait for the newer versions to come out? I have enough vapes to survive but I really want one vape that is purely mechanical that I can always repair.

The mechanical 8 can be used with the core and Persei insert but they are out of production so if you want a mech you should get one soon as the new 8's will be temp control units

So taking my love for the Kiss G3 and adding filtration… I fitted the mouthpiece with a cut to fit silicone tip ( https://www.fasttech.com/p/2112808 ) makes an appropriate, snug seal. Easy on/off for loading and the bubbler works just as it should. It sits a little taller than the Globe base it was designed for but now I have Dual Ti option. Although great, it’s Much lighter and discreet than the AC unit, which I prefer these carts to. Just not as stable. Though a redesigned mouthpiece with a deeper cap seat would work well. I can’t get over how great these carts are. Easy maintenance/disposal, Reasonable $, Last forever, Never have to fucking wrap wire again BONUS!

Yes, this combination works great! I personally like using an 18350 Core Insert inside the 8's shorty tube to shorten the height of this heavy vape. It makes a really solid base for use with the Hercules.
I would use the Bender in this mode except I am just too sold on the touch operation of our V4 Persei top with the Bender and I don't find the need to turn down the heat below 7V when Bending anyways.
I do use just the 8 shorty tube with the V4 Persei top with the Bender though. To increase the weight and make a heavier, less tippy stand.
Mix and match!

I think I've settled on the 18500 version of the new tc persei for stealth and the double 18650 version of the new tc 8 for the rest of the time. Now the waiting.....

Next batch of hercs are coming with a .8 ohm heater. They will be better with TC, but for longer life the 18650 is going to be it. Only 18mm difference in length.
Is anything changing on the herc other than heating rod? I like the lower resistance sr71 rod better already I'd definately like to try .8

the only thing changing is what comes with the kit.
Next batch of hercules we do will have a black rod and 510 nothing else changes.
