I will test it after work. Any burnoffs needed ?the spill cap looks boss. Can't wait to load some oil in this baby
Oh and should I charge before using ?I turned it on so I guess it has somewhat of a charge

When depleted the charger light is red while charging, i experienced the same blinking when i tried to charge it before first use....I think it's a sign of a quasi full charge.

Just saw that it's only $18.98 again today on edabsdirect... Also, noticed for first time that they are offering 2 packs of replacement coils. I can't help but to think I am going to lose the damn thing before I need a 5 pack of replacement coils!

How long should we expect for one coil to last?

i have no clue. But, what i do know, is I like the research/hunt/gettting something new aspect of it, that I will either/or/all of the following--- 1) lose 2) give away or 3) buy even more of them within the next few months. i have put maybe a 1/2 gram thru mine so far. It has kept fairly clean. I used my buddies puffco over the holidays, and he and I were both amazed at how the evolve compared to it, when used back to back.

Well I finally achieved a clog. It was really hard and I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO impressed. The clog is fairly easily handled and I can still get hits, just not as big. That is great for me as I don't want huge hits. I won't know how easily it will fully unclog until it is almost empty. I put a lot in and it was shatter to boot. I so wish the taste was better, but I have already recommended it and people who bought it are very pleased.

our fc buddy Vitolo referred me to one of these. Just received it and waiting for it to charge up. It literally looks like the PERFECT size as I was expecting it to have a bigger chamber. Anyone know how long it takes to charge? I'm getting ancy waiting for it lol

Is it me or does it go through small amounts very quickly. Within one draw or so I mean

Also touched the wax tool to the coil and i guess it made a connection and blew out a coil? Can anyone explain that?

EDIT: the light on the charger is flashing green momentarily and is switching back to red so i assume its almost done but gonna let it go a little longer. There was a red light on the battery but that seems to have turned off

It should be ready when the green light goes solid.

Well folks I'm hanging up my Evolve pen until titanium coils are available, if ever. Just tired of the nichrome taste, ugh. Going back to the competitions Ti Gr2's for now. Disappointed because I like the outer design of the product. Perhaps I'll rebuild some with upgraded wire. Stay tuned...

Just got an evolve as alternative to my Ti coil/Glass Globe's. Love the size. Love the heft. Love the looks... Got the all chrome unit. Taste is very good, not quite like the H e-nail but good. This thing defintely produces big hits. I do like the anti-spill cap. Only real downsize on this unit is that is doesn't have a mini/micro-usb on the battery for charging.

Its a bargain at less than $25.

Loving it.....

So far I am in love with this pen. How do you guys carry it around? I wish there was a case or something. Also am concerned with it falling upside down and leaking.

Just carry it in my pocket. I've used cigar tubes in the past for larger vapes but this one is so small.

Still loving this pen. Haven't picked up any of my others since this arrived.

This vape is would be excellent at twice the price. great value....

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences, I'm pretty much decided on grabbing one of these up at this point :) . So are people getting good flavor with larger load sizes? I would love to throw .1 or .15 in there at least and get a couple puffs without the oil degrading too much or splashing everywhere (looks like the cap solves the latter nicely). Can it handle a dab bigger than say a Dr. Dabbler or the like?

I think it can handle a bit more than others. Be warned that the coils get hot QUICK!. This makes for great hits, and may result in burnt oil if the button is pushed for too long. I get 8-10 good hits from a BB sized ball of oil. Pulsing the button for 1-2 secs. at a time.

Exact same experience here. Also, I have been using some very tasty & clean rosin, and the flavor has been spectacular those first 3-4 rips as well.

Also playing with it on an istick 40w tc on VW mode. Don't do tc, as the 40w will toast that load immediately!

The wire is nichrome. Temp control is stainless steel, nickel, or titanium.
