The Elo is nearing pre-sales and according to Illimite Concepts, they are working on the website which should be up sometime soon. I've been doing a lot of testing with the Elo for my review and I am really pleased with the device! It produces some super smooth vapor with no draw resistance and its mostly all convection!

Just uploaded a bunch of Elo photos on my site, check em' out while I write up the review. I hope to have most of it outlined this coming week! radvapereviews.wordpress.com

Thanks for checking it out! Hope you like it and let me know if you have suggestions or comments

I have been impressed with the ELO as well. As @Just Justin said the ELO is almost all convection.
I second the vapor is extremely smooth and the draw resistance is practically zero.

The ELO has a 50 watt heater which is very nice. If you have an aggressive draw speed you may see the light flash meaning the heater is heating back up to temp. This is something you will have to adjust because of the lack of draw resistance.

I draw at a 5 (from 1 weakest to 10 hardest) and the heater will start flashing after 7 seconds. I believe this is something they're working on, keeping the heater hotter longer without sacrificing battery life. In the mean time I just slow down to a 3 or 4 and can take a much longer draw. Not a deal breaker by any means just a draw adjustment.

The low temps are very tasty with acceptable vapor and the higher temps extract much quicker but increased vapor. The ELO heats up quick. It will heat up to 365F in about 40 seconds. Pretty efficient too.
The mouth piece also stows away so the ELO isn't smelly when not in use

So far I'm really liking it.

The only thing I don't like is the top can screen for the chip so I cut a rectangular screen out of an Indica screen that attaches to the tabs on the lid of the chip. This makes loading, unloading, and cleaning the basket a breeze.

Look for the Elo Vaporizer website coming soon! Illimite Concepts says they are shooting to have the pre-sale website up and running by next week. I am currently working on the Elo Review which should also be up sometime soon. Hope y'all check them out!

Here is a quick pic of the screen I made on the chip lid instead of in the can.

The reason I did this is you have to make sure the screen is completely in the can or the can may fall off the chip if not seated properly.

If the screen is above the can, the stock screen is just thick enough to pop the little nipples on the side of the can out of the chip. I use an Indica vaporizer screen because they are very thin and the small tabs on the chip secure the screen to the chips lid.

This also makes it much easier to work with (loading, unloading, cleaning).

Top new screen, bottom stock set up.

So now you need to add something to keep the chip from falling out? Don't think they have all the kinks out then. To me cause I'm sure this will be over $200, I shouldn't have to add this screen to make sure the freaking thing works right or better. Maybe I am confused.

@smutman You are confused indeed. Please re read my post.

The chips can has a top and bottom removable screen as seen in the bottom pic.
The ELO screens are thick.
You need to push the top screen completely inside the can so it is secure and not above the edge of the can.
If not, the can may pop out of the chip because it isn't completely seated.

By eliminating the factory top screen and adding the much thinner Indica screen on the chip lid it is much easier to work with.

With the factory top can screen, you need to carry a pin or toothpick to get the top screen out to empty the chamber.
The other way is to push the bottom screen through the top to get the upper screen out. Doing this mashes the herb between the 2 screens and makes both screens very dirty.

By doing what I showed in the picture, it just makes loading, unloading, and cleaning easier by making the top screen stationary.

The ELO does not need anything added to keep the chip from falling out.
It works very well out of the box, this is just a simpler design I made.

This is just an easy DIY mod that anyone can do.
I just thought I would share this info with everyone.

No, I was right in my thinking, it just came out wrong. So basically if they would just change the design of the chips with a new screen for the can, then this would work right? See, it's a little thing like that I now probably will pass on this vape. Hell look at people in the Firefly thread complaining about an app, now you need another screen from another vape or carry around a tool for it to work right. I like vapes that are easy to clean and not have to go and do other things or have other stuff from other vapes to get one vape to work right completely. Once again, I'm sure this will be $200+ vape. For that price I shouldn't have to buy another screen, carry tools around, make sure everything fits right or it will fall out. Now if it's a $100-150 then I can see this being decent and worth putting up with the chip situation. I thought this might be a winner but I think I'm out on the ELO til I see the price.

Exciting news! Elo website is up and running, check it out at:

elovaporizer.com

Illimite Concepts is offering 20 early bird units at a lower price so hurry before there gone......

Yea but when do they ship? Do we have to wait months, weeks, days? At $129 that's a real decent price for this vape for having to redo the whole chip system to get it to work right.

Edit: their website won't ship to any address. I smell a lot of heartache already from this company

I think they are shipping right away and the email said 129$ includes shipping and they said they are ready to go. They are entering the Chinese New next week, so it sounded like they could go out before then, otherwise you may have to wait until that's over.

They have re-designed the top of the Chip to hold the top screen better and they said they will be sending those new Chip samples out to the 20 Elo owners after the Chinese New Year, so that sounds to me like the 20 units can be shipped now and until their New Year. The new Chip designs basically solves the issue of why the Vapr Dr modified his Chips so you won't have to place the screen in the Herb Chamber for each load because the top screen will be attached to the Chip body so you will just have to fill your Chamber and clip it into the Chip body and it looks great! I will have more on that, hopefully soon.

That all sounds great but you can't buy from the website at all. it will not ship to any of the 50 states so the point is moot. Thanks though for that update on the chip. You might want to let them know their web store won't ship to any address or to any country on planet earth. I guess they only ship to the space station.

Edit: hahahaa they won't even ship to themselves in China.

I wondered how they could afford such a deal. Well if you won't be willing to ship the I can see.

"Unfortunately one or more items in your cart can't be shipped to your location. Please choose a different delivery address."

No matter the address you put in, that's what you get. I guess they don't like selling vapes because they sure don't wanna ship.

It sounds like the heater is easy to overpower if you draw to fast, how does it do connected to a water piece?

Would anyone know the dimensions of the elo?

Thoughts on the elo from the sideline are positive..Shame though as some have said, the battery is not replaceable and a pass through wasn t included.

Big smiles to the design....Love the solid Aluminium case, and the loading chip and the cooling tricks under the mouthpiece.

it stays relatively clean too like the solo......the thing is,I already own the solo and its compact size & good battery life are a winner for me.

The solo though, being mostly conduction, has me eyeing the elo as a clean reasonably priced convection portable.....at this price I'm thinking about it some...

every time I look at the elo I hear this tune:)

They are having some difficulties with the new site but they are working now to fix those issues. I'll let everyone know if I hear anymore from Illimite Concepts.

To be honest I was starting to second guess my order, but the early bird price and watching their promo videos sold me again. I also liked that they listened about the screen design and are sending updated versions out to early bird buyers. Supposed to anyways.
