No doubt its been said before, but ive discovered half covering the carb while inhaling definitely increases flavour and more importantly vapour production!!
Im unsure if this is because its reducing the overall draw pressure allowing more vapour to form but either way this device rocks!
Sending George a massive thankyou, it didnt go unnoticed that my cap shipped on christmas eve, arriving the day before new years eve in the uk, perfect i have been thoroughly enjoying it ever since, true ive scorched with it a few times but hey thats part of the learning curve and its so quick and simple to clean, not to mention the uncountable number of times ive had super tasy capfull's

Overall im loving the vapcap!

On a side note id be carefull about the glass getting too gunked up with reclaim, with how small the condenser tube opening is, this opening will surely decrease in size as reclaim builds up adding more pressure and subsequently heat being pulled through the opening, just an amatuer observation, perhaps one of our more learned members can chime in on this thought

Shouldn't this thread be moved now? I think far more people have received their dynavap than the zion which is now in the regular portable section even though only a few of the final version have been sent out. Is it George who makes the decision?

Couldn't agree more. This was my first thought when i noticed the Zion in the regular portables (which is a good thing, i want my Zion too)

Still, it seems totally in keeping with the constant -and seemingly ongoing- roadblocks and speedhumps which George has experienced bringing this to us all.

@pakalolo I've recieved my second vapcap now, I was just wondering why this thread is still part of the upcoming and unreleased? I'm definitely not that exclusive.

So on that note, I've got my TI/Woodie today, I'm loving it very much. @VapCap I had no idea there was a ceramic *screen in there, it makes it taste amazing so that was a pleasant surprise indeed :)

So I'll give you guys my opinion on the new tip. It can take a little more heat to it that's for sure, especially to get cloudier results. It makes it a better session vape than a one hitter which was how I was using my OG Vapcap. I find that the cap for my OG works better on my TI tip than the new cap. It's really tight and a little difficult to put back on. I don't bother taking it off before the click which I would all the time with my OG and a magnet. Not even a rare earth magnet will pull this baby off so it's a little bit of bummer but, since a load seems to last a little longer I don't have a problem pulling it off with my fingers after the click. That's if I choose to keep using this cap on the ti, may work better on the glass, we'll see :)

Overall the Blackwood stem is gorgeous I feel like one classy son' bitch. Great work @Ed's TnT

I also got the tip with the new high temp O ring, I like to heat my cap on the lower end so I'll definitely be putting it to some work. Fingers crossed I don't get splitting.

There isn't a SS VapCap that I am aware of although the Woodie has a SS condenser. TI is certainly lighter and more durable then SS, and won't rust. It has less thermal expansion, and is a very safe material.

I thought the OG vapcap was SS, my bad.

Is the TI with glass available for preorder anywhere? I don't want to start with the TI woodie... I imagine I'll inadvertently combust as I'm getting used to it, and I assume the glass will be easier to clean.

The cap is SS in both instances, and fits over the bowl end of the device. The bowl of the OG is glass w/ a metal diffuser, while the Ti bowl is Ti with a ceramic diffuser (from what i understand - my Ti/glassy isn't due in for another week, so I'm going off of the recent pics for that one).

Well, now I can chain vape vapcaps :D

Better than any wax pen I've tried.

I'm gonna have to get another set of S&B pads though, I barely have room to load it with this substrate which is just SS screens.

@VapCap , George my man, I gotta hit you up ASAP when you get those *concentrate screens or what nots, in! ;)

It's funny how everyone has their own different method for using the VapCap. My typical load is three heat cycles working my way down the cap going from top/middle to middle to bottom. On the third cycles I am literally pulling as hard as I can to stave off combustion and get a pretty big hit .

I think it must be easier to combust with the original glass model vs the Ti tips.

That would be because none of the moderators was asked to move it, and none of us noticed that it qualified to be moved. Welcome to your new home!

Well, I tried originally... @Stu :goon:;)

:D I do think George has more than earned the promotion, despite some body adjustments, the actual cap itself is certainly a fully realized and fairly available product now:clap:

Thank you everyone!
I wasn't sure when my thread would be welcomed into the released section. How cool is it to finally make it here?

I am very excited to get my Vaps out into the world, and I still welcome all feedback and hope to have some new and exciting updates coming soon.

Like now.

Here is one of them:
A reinforced Ti Woody.

Another picture showing the new Woody with a prototype heat deflecting reinforcing crown.

And with the tip removed so the whole crown is visible.

I hope this will address the cracking issue, but also plan on some revisions in the next round of Ti tips to further reduce heat transfer.
And the Ti Glassy will be available for sale very soon.

Cheers,

George

I like the crown. The TI Woodie looks as elegant as ever. It's nice to see this little vape evolving so quickly.

I've been thinking that for my custom turned woodie I'm going to actually use a piece of SS tubing running inside the wood to help make it sturdier. It would also separate the wood from the airpath but I'm not sure if that's a pro or con to be honest.

Any tips on polishing up the cap?

The cap is Stainless steel. It polishes very well with a buffing wheel and some polishing compound. A dremel with polish works too. The caps look awesome after a good polish, and it will last a while if kept a bit further from the flame.

Right on my man, glad you feel that way and thank you for the kind words so much!

@VapCap Wow, really dig the neat little SS band you added around the end of the woodies nice addition and hope it resolves some of the heat transfer issues, look forward to your users findings!

@VapCap the woodie modifications look very attractive and functional, love the crown, very classy. My unit's crack is starting to widen with further use, but is still useable and I'm still vapcappin, but not sure how much longer until the crack breaks the body's air seal.

I don't have a magnet, but when I want the vapcap to cool quicker I put cap side down on my metal grinder or glass table surface and the cooldown click seems to come within a second.

Really wanna add that George and I are all over this cracking issue, dont think for a minute that we arent! I am finding out George is a metal guy and I am a wood guy, yes I do some metal work but not to the extent that he does. I know what I know and what I do, its just getting right with George and working through this may take some time is all.

Quick Q guys, is the glass chamber of your OG cut straight? Mine looks like it was broken and torched to smooth it, so it makes some sort of waves (read it's irregular, not straight).
