Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Do any of you guys have a particular brand of cranberry extract you'd recommend? I think I'd like to start using them to help keep my tubes all nice and sparkling clean :o. I clean them fairly frequently (generally I use one while the other is soaking/drying and then soon as it's ready I switch and start all over) but I'd love to be able to keep my glass absolutely pristine :D. I see a lot of like... food additive/health food kind of variations of cranberry extract but I'm not sure that's exactly what I'm looking for, LOL.

Does the cranberry impact the flavor of the herb at all?

@Drew_de_Verdamper welcome to the EVO family :D. you're gonna love it here, this little machine is rad. i also have the turbine and the hydrabomb and i love them both, although the turbine is my personal favorite. let us know what you think about your unit when it arrives!

That's what you want. Just pure cranberry extract, water, and some glycerin.

Evening all!

Just wanted to swing by and announce that I've released two loading tools for the VXL Cloud and Cloud Evo that I thought ya'll might enjoy

First up, my favorite - the ELB Loading Tool

IMG_7300__58729.1452808766.1280.1280.JPG

This two part tool was made to hold an ELB while you load it. It was a special request by several fellow FC members, and I'm quite impressed with how well it turned out.

Next up, is the 18mm Male Loading Funnel
IMG_7309__25365.1452809462.1280.1280.JPG

(Yes, that is a Cloud in the photo, but it is compatible with both vaporizers - Please don't use after your vaporizer has been fully preheated - hot glass can melt this plastic!!)

Questions, comments, feel free to join the conversation over on my official FC thread

I've got another accessory or two in the works for the VXL Cloud Evo, but for now I wanted to share what I've made. Of course you can also PM me if you have any other accessories you'd like to see for the vape!

I've seen a pic of a 5-pack, and it was just discoloration to the nail. It was cloudy in places instead of clear. That is only 1 pack out of how many though, so no guarantee that's what you'll end up with.

That's what I was hoping to hear tbh! I don't think that really matters, and it was my only option at the time so I'm happy with it! I am honestly just worried about getting nails that have odd/poor slits. I have some off brand glass nails that have wider/crappy slits and they don't seem to work nearly as well as the stock nail.

How do you guys go about cleaning your vapexnails?

I usually let mine sit and burn off any residue, but that always left behind this thin layer of white residue and now it's started to become thick.

What do you guys use for these things?

id suggest a torch, especially if they are Quartz.

if they are glass the torch will still work just be careful not to roast them to long!

My VXNs are glass and I don't have a torch, so I do the burn-off and then swab it out with a Q-tip and some iso. I think it's just ash so I don't worry too much about it until I do a more thorough wash with hot water, perhaps after a longer soak in iso after a few uses.

I know on some of my older boro nails, they developed some stains that I just couldn't get off no matter if I ISO soaked/PBW/burn off in the EVO.

Hi everybody,

i AM one lucky guy, because my Evo arrived today. Really nice, such a fast delivery and this on a Friday :)

Also i would like to thank everybody for the nice welcome here :)

I have some disappointment to tell, too, because the Turbine HT has a little little crack in the tube (mouthpiece-tube) so i don't know if i should return it or just leave it. It is really little, although i am concerned that the crack could get bigger ...

Despite that, i think for my personal taste the HTs look beautiful.
I am not quite sure, if i have got the newer ones or the "OG-ones". From the shape of the tubes I would say these are the newer ones - the percolator is located relatively far above i would say. Though I haven't filled them up or used them, so I will see if they are leakproof and function without getting my mouth full of water :p I will see it tonight. I was just wondering, because the Vapexhale company logo on the HoneyComb shines golden- i thought the newer models would be in black?
I'm going to give everything a try tonight and will report back :)

Hi Drew, I'm from Denmark,
1. It's deffinately better to use distilled or boiled water (cheap)
Limestone infects my glass before the gunk from herbs...

2. Not certain on this one, but I think you put cranberry in when it's easiest, ie. when you've filled the HT. and you possible could keep the same water for a couple of days before changing.

3. I would only put hash that can evaporate most of it's content in the nails, trichomes and classic hash goes in the ELB. which get pretty nice after a soak in ISO.

Happy vaping, please leave a comparison of your 2 vapes!

Thanks Manos, i will leave a comparison if you like ;)
I bought some distilled water and thanks for your hint concerning the consume-question.

Welcome, I think you'll love your incoming EVO!

1. If you have very hard water, distilled water might not be a bad idea at all. The hydratubes don't take much water, so a few liters would last you a while. It probably wouldn't hurt to use distilled while cleaning either.

2. I have a little beaker I use to fill my hydratube. I put the water in, put in a drop of cranberry extract, swirl it around, and then pour it into my HT. I would absolutely recommend emptying and rinsing your HT's over night. I find they start to get a little funky if you leave the water in too long.

But it's just like bongs. Some people change the water every bowl, some leave it for months til it's a putrid funk. Personal preference, but I opt for clean and fresh.

For your routine, I'd just fill the HT's up whenever you're ready for your first session of the day. Depending on your usage, you might change the water at some point during the day. I usually like to change my water after every few sessions just to keep it clean and tasty. And when you're done for the evening, just empty and rinse your HT's.

3. I don't have a lot of experience with the hash you're describing, but if I were to attempt to vape it, I think I'd take this approach. Crumble up the hash into little pieces to increase surface area. Using the ELB, I'd sprinkle a little fresh herb on the bottom. Then put in some hash, then a little more herb on top. Take a few hits, then take a tooth pick and stir it around in the ELB.

I think that would work, but maybe others here have better advice for that type of hash.

Hope that answered all your questions. And I have to say, your English was written very well!

Thank you ;)
I am going to fill the HTs with a beaker with water and a few drops, once i figured out the best amount of water, it's the easiest way to reproduce i guess :)
Also, i will to fill the ELBs as described from you, i think this gonna work.

Too bad to hear about a possible crack in your Turbine HT. Anyway you can take a pic and upload it? Some here might be able to advise whether you send it back or not.

Regarding the color of the VXL logo, I know the older Hydrabombs had the gold logo and the new Hydrabombs have the black/green. I want to say the older Honeycombs had the black and green, as well as the newer ones.

For some reason I only remember the old Hydrabombs having the gold logo, but I could very easily be wrong on that.

You are spot on with the colors. I have all the OG VXL glass. My HydraBomb is gold but everything else has the green/blue.

Edit: After looking at Drew's glass it I can only surmise that gold labels is old stock and the blue/green are new stock. But there are two different versions in the blue/green labels.

Thanks for your quick reply!
You are right - i checked the colors of the different HTs before i ordered.
It was like: Turbine: gold, Hydrabomb: yellow/orange, HoneyComb: black/green.
And because of that i was surprised to see the HoneyComb HT shining golden.

Here is a picture of all the 3 items together:

And here i tried to capture that little crack:

I also think that's a scratch and not a crack.
Cracks look two-dimensional as you can see them go deep through the thickness of the glass.
Simple scratches look one-dimensional as they don't go deep.
What you've got on the photo looks just like a scratch and it's reflection.
Also the location and size doesn't make sense for a crack.
Btw those are some really nice HTs you've got.
Recently there have been some complaints about no so great quality percs and too short tubes.
Also a lot of these new HTs had very short percs prone to leakage.
Your hydratubes seem to have none of these issues and look beautiful, you are lucky.

Quick question for anyone that ordered a hydrobomb holiday package... I ordered mine on 12/18 and they shipped my evo with a turbine and a note that they would ship the hydrobomb in a week or so. Here we are close to a month later and I still haven't received my hydrobomb HT. Has anyone had any luck receiving theirs yet?

I did email them and they said they would go out late this week but I still have no conformation.

I've been having really bad luck getting information about shipping, all I've been told is there is delays with their supplier or something to that regard. I was told a few days ago my kit would ship yesterday, but alas, no shipping confirmation. Haven't been able to get any reliable or accurate information from them since I ordered 17 days ago. Still don't know when they will ship. My emails are typically replied to without answering anything or just being really vague or downright wrong (telling me it shipped, then it hadn't shipped, then it was shipping on 14th, then it was shipping whenever they get them, then they said there is no reason it wont ship on the 14th, now its the 15th...)

Side note, I noticed their website now has no HT's on it other than the swagger tree whereas before it listed their HT's simply as "sold out", now they are gone.

I'm left to ponder if they where in fact pushing old stock out and had to manufacture new stock to cover orders but will be replacing it with a newer or different model or HT design...

Really wish they would communicate a bit better to help reassure customers that all is being taken care of.

Nah. They change HT designs regularly and sometimes come back to old designs.

I don't know where they are on stock right now, but I know the holiday sale blew through what they had. Glass is always hard to keep in stock when it is in demand.

Yea, I fully understand that. I figure they must have a decent idea or better knowledge of when they can start fulfilling orders again, or when their supplier can supply... They should pass their knowledge onto their customers, or try and be a bit more specific about whats going on. The only emails I've gotten from them have all been wrong information so far... If they really don't know themselves, they should be willing to tell that to customers rather than giving them outright false information. An absence of information is better than wrong information.

Like I said, I have been waiting 1 month almost. I understand the high demand, but honestly they shouldn't have been selling a product with a ship date of 12/24 if they couldn't have the orders out. I think it is really cool they gave a turbine away and I am grateful for that. I travel a lot and don't need the stress of trying to coordinate my HT shipment with my availability. I agree with you about the customer service. I emailed them early last week and they said they would have it out by the end of last week. Then a few days passed and they said they couldn't ship until the earliest the end of this week. I am trying to be patient, but checking the order and my email for shipping info has become compulsive at this point and I would like to stop!

On a lighter note, I couldn't be happier with this product!

Just got another email from them, They didn't answer any of my concerns, nor did they say when it could be expected to ship or elaborate further. They did however tell me that it indeed didn't ship yesterday like they said it would. Guess I'll just have to give up trying to get any useful information out of them and just wait and hope it eventually arrives on my door.

The free HT is a sweet deal for ya though, they gave me some free bowls and a 20% coupon I'll prb never use, thats okay, but I'd really just prefer accurate information, that would be worth more than any freebies or handouts. I have a 4 day cabin camping trip with my family later this month, really wanted to bring this with me but I'm pretty doubtful it will arrive in time anymore. Even thats fine. I just wish I knew when I could expect it and that I would't have been given so much bad information or no information.

Florence,
Hey guys,

i have just finished my first session with the Evo and i have to say i am pretty impressed!
I will report a little more in detail tomorrow if someone is interested ;)

But. Here are my first impressions:
Both of the H.T.s (Turbine and HoneyComb) give me a super super smooth flavored vapor which i really liked a lot! And i have to tell: I only put 0.1 grams of dry herbs into the ELB and did 2 draws. And i got this wonderful vapor directly on the first draw, which is incredible because with my previous unit, i was not able to vaporize such a little amount of herbs in such a nice way. Simply a bliss right now!
Possibly one thing which could start to annoy me a little is that loud whistling sound the H.T.s produce when i inhale. Maybe the water level is not perfect, i took another photo and it would be very nice of you if you could tell me if the water level is correct.
Right now i think i could probably fill in more water but i am afraid of over-filling it.
Maybe you guys could advise me.
Here you can see them filled:

To briefly return to my question regarding the tubes:

I think you are right. Thanks Seek!
Maybe i just used the word wrong, i guess. So i think it is a little scratch and not a crack. I probably could clean that scratch by polishing it a little bit?

As you maybe can see on the picture: None of my 2 H.T.s are black/green.:D So not even the HoneyComb, which i assumed to be it would. So i guess i probably never will find out hehe but it seems possible for me that these H.T.s are from the old stock, because they have been exported and maybe that happened before that sale and these new stock H.T.s which were around recently, but i really can just assume and i have no plan at all :D

Happy weekend guys

Can anyone identify this hydratube for me? I bought it from a friend. Did I luck out and land an OG Hydratube, the straight neck type? I can't find this design anywhere on DHgate
