Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
Update to the hydratube. Sunshinestore has a prototype and will be able to list sometime after the New Years, around feb 16th according to their email. If there are any suggestions before they start producing these, please speak up now.

Wow! They did a great job with your sketch it looks like, and sunshine too, can't wait to order one myself! Feb 16th so far away

Glad to hear the overflow chamber was considered, I can rest confident that it was deemed unnecessary. True Zion could handle a splash (depending where it is, electronics obv can't but the heater can) but still always better safe than sorry with something like this.

And it's even a beautiful circ perc! Is they're anyway they could possibly also offer a version without the recycler? Like just the mouthpiece on top of the circ perc (chamber or mouthpiece may have to be a bit taller I suppose) would be awesome... But I still haven't tried a recycler yet anyway, so yeah I want this

@Likes2vape I think might like it better the way bongologist has it actually, easier to see vapor coming through the circ, and seems just as easy to hit to me. Though that VXL recycler has the overflow chamber I see, a small one

I think this piece is going to be the bees knees!!! I just think the mp needs to be in a different position basically reversed of where it's at now even 90 degrees would be better.

Cool video. It looks more tip prone than other pieces though. Is that an original cloud they are using? I did not see an ELB in that so it makes me wonder how easy it is to get the recycle action when a fully loaded ELB is in there. Also, it had that annoying whistle but that could be from lack of ELB.

There is an ELB in there. Slow it down....Where do you think the vapor came from?

Nope, looks like an Evo to me as well.

I want to add a hydrotube to my collection, but I sure as hell am not buying one from Steven, so for now I'm going to sit back and watch what develops

The one from Steven works fine for me but I am always using an adapter anyways. For $40 I got a hydratube and a hydratube stand. I know have 7 hydratube stands and I use them all the time. I glue them down to the top of my table with that funtac and stick all my hydratubes and glass adapters on top. It works really well. However, I don't want to buy the first round of Chinese hydratubes due to quality control concerns.

I also repurposed my hydratube adapter I bought from you to use as a whip hose adapter for the hydratube mouthpiece. It works well enough but I think an official SONG from you probably would work better. I never liked it much as a hydratube adapter as compared to using my glass adapter but it works great as a hydratube mouthpiece :)

Almost there...
Just a silly question - maybe I have not understood this correctly but....you DO know you're not supposed to pull the water up to the holes in the recycler, right? That's just to collect splashes. Try it with water just over the perc. I like the look of that little rig, what's the height on yours? Several reviewers mention theirs was smaller than the description. How's the build quality? I'm interested to hear if it can be made to perform better with less water.

Their advert is crazy - so much Chinglish it makes my eyes water! They even hint they are using Corning glass! I think the idea was to seem really hip and give the impression of good quality, but all they achieve is adding a level of sketch.

LOL!! Thanks for that...
I still prefer it dry but it does work well with water just over the perc.
With water there is a lot more restriction to the draw than any of my other WT's but not too bad.
Milks up my Lotus very nicely!!
I think this would be the perfect combustion piece.

Build quality is pretty damn good!
Everything is straight and the glass is quite thick as well.
Slight funkiness at the join between the splash part and the main wall but nothing major!
Better build quality than my other China pieces.
And it was packed BOMBPROOF!!! Bubble wrapped and then this super long bubble wrap around it! Best packaging i have seen!

I specifically asked for the 12" version and was sent the 10" one.
It is 11" to the top of the upper part of the mouthpiece.

So just using the lower perc just covered with water, not like the video, it works as advertised!
Too late to edit my previous post....

Talked to CCG customer service the other night and I'm fairly sure they don't have the Rattle Can design correct yet.

Debating whether I want to put my name in the Steven queue for either a Straight Fab or Rattle Can. Any opinions on which would be preferable as a dedicated vaping piece?

I would say the rattlecan then probably. Definitely liked the flavor of the e-nano through the fc-710 back when i still vaped flowers, only downside was the male joint meant using an adapter. Only downside of the rattlecan is having to order from steven as I also doubt the CCG rattlecan is functional.

The one from Steven works fine for me but I am always using an adapter anyways. For $40 I got a hydratube and a hydratubestand :)

I just got my FC Hydrotube or mouth-piece. (8 days from order)

Built very nice and will work fine with my Q.
Even the NANO will work fine.

Time to experiment.

I think I'll get the SSS hydrotube as well.

Well see if Steven makes more stuff?
So far everything has worked!

$40 delivered?

Hey guys,

By any chance has anyone come across on dhgate or have a link to a bent neck beaker bong?

Thanks in advance!

I wrote to Jane for an update on the Steven HT (aka FC-Mouthpiece.)

The response (though difficult to comprehend) is that by request of other "FC friends" they have stopped production. It will be replaced by a recycler HT. Jane even included the pic that @Bongologist posted in the design thread.
Well that sucks I hope they keep both!

Surely they must have meant they will ease production currently and resume after this new recycler project is complete but I am a little let down. I was planning on messaging all of the main dhgate sellers about some new fc-mouthpiece prototypes I have been working on. I was thinking of taking some basic models that are already out there and modified them with an 18mm joint on the bottom. One was the fc-710 or newer models with diffusion pump. But now I'm just gona start by asking Jane about the fc-mouthpiece.
Edit- I just sent them a message

I agree with feeling a little let down. I redesigned the joint for them and was interested in seeing if they got even close on the finished product, as I previously had a custom piece (American blower) that was basically unrecognizable. It's always interesting to see how close a design actually comes out in the end.

Plus, the HT they made was close to being that cheap piece you let a friend use while you sit back with one that cost 5x the price, and you don't feel like he's looking at you like you're eating a tender prime rib while he's got mcnuggets. That may be the case, but they are similar enough that you have to know your shit to know.

I would like to add another vote on getting some new sellers to make hydratubes. Its not that i do not want to support VapeXhale. Its only because i dislike sidecar mouthpieces and their selection is always very minimal, plus i already own their official Turbine tube so i feel i have paid my part to them.

I would really like a straight neck, (beaker bong mouthpiece) style hydratube similar to the SSG Hydraline.

Or something along the lines of the Swagger Double would work with me. I wouldn't mind a Swagger ShowerCap either :D

But seriously if we can not get VapeXhale to have a larger selection of hydratubes available to purchase ( I'm not even complaining about price!!) then we have to get some other sellers to do so.

Here are some old retired hydratubes to reminisce about:

well, it's certainly a lot less elitist in here; I just got burned in the Möbius thread for daring to ask about these units. I just bought a Matrix sidecar from Steven on iOffer, and tbh, I really don't see how a US made unit is worth $330 compared to the prices for the Chinese glass, especially at the quality that these units are!

@420engineer I addressed this in the Mobius thread. And to come here and say you were 'burned' in that thread is just asking to be told the same thing here. Please do not perpetuate this.

It's the quality of the glass used. Some of the glass used in Chinese pieces is leaded. Some isn't as thick. And the quality, usually, isn't as good.

I also want to address some of the pics being posted in this thread. We are not going to allow pictures with logos (ie Mothership, Mobius, RooR, etc.) on pieces that are clearly not made by those companies and are counterfeit.

@gaseous_clay (and others) sunshinestore seems interested in new designs and their rep is communicating with no problems. They told me to give them other designs after the New Years and want to add more hydrotubes. So, submit your designs to the Custom glass/Design thread with a link and we can help get it produced. I think we should give the FC-mouthpiece design to SsS, Cathy, et al, and see what happens. It sucks they aren't doing a v2 on that one. I held off thinking a better version would be made.

I got my unit from Steven, too, and it is a very high quality unit - I don't care if it is a knock-off, it operates flawlessly :)
