Underdog Log Vapes

Hey are any of you guys using grinders w/ your UD, and if so what ones?

I had my heart set on getting a Santa Cruz Shredder, but after one company not getting them in stock for over a month and another company sending me a Mini instead of the Small that I ordered, I'm starting to get pretty annoyed.

Still not opposed to the Santa Cruz Shredder, but I am starting to think I might be better off w/ the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder since I'm mostly only interested in breaking up material for my UD.

Does anyone have experience w/ the Magic Flight Finishing Grinder w/ their UD? Are there any good alternative that don't have an open bottom?

I really want to try a Kannastor and Clipper, but out of acrylic, cheap metal, mflb finishing, SC 2 & 4 pc, I prefer my 3pc SCS the best for my dogs! I also like to use a few different and mix it all up together, but if I had to choose just one out of all I have tried it would be the SCS.

Hence the reason I asked in this page and instead of searching through the grinders thread, thanks though @Snappo

Not trying to be a dick, but your post is the very top post of this page. Which means if you would of read the page you were on prior to posting (because you weren't sitting at a "blank" pg #471 when you made the post), you'd see that your question was very recently answered (10 of the 25 posts on the page are about what grinder we prefer for the UD)

Beautiful @SSVUN~YAH what type of wood? Looks SMOOOTH like Marvin

Edit: I am eying up a SCS 3 piece for my dog, but the SC works great and I can't justify the price right now for what is essentially a luxury want, because the SC really does work great.

Thanks, it's Madrone Burl and getting darker and more defined with age and use. I used SC for years and agree it's a great grinder too. Always was intrigued by the scout SC and when I saw SCS had a 3 pc I knew that would be my next grinder.

Just about ANY man made grinder manufactured on planet Earth will work just fine... turn more for finer, turn less for courser... scissors work, nuggs work, pinches off of nuggs work... anything will work well in an UNDERDOG. If one wants to explore the finer points of grinderology, I reiterate... go to:

Like zoinks man
read the underdog "best of" thread

I will definitely check that out! Thanks I am kinda new to Fuckcombustion.

If you're just looking for some basic instruction you can try one of Underdogettes videos, here's the 'how-to' one:

Thanks that video was actually very helpful! Answered a lot of my questions.

I have one of the first ones Todd banged out when people hated him for competing with Tom and Pam. Still going strong. Where can I get the old style stems? The non pushed in screen style. New ones totally compatible?

Unfortunately none of our stems are compatible with the WDZ. Our Nylon ones are too large and won't fit in the heat port and the WDZ runs too cool for our glass ones to work properly.

You might be able to find some used PD/Zap/WDZ stems in the classifieds forum though.

I hope this isn't horribly off topic, but I was sharing my opinions about the UD on another part of the Internet and was accused of being a paid marketer or something for Underdog, based on recommending it to a variety of people and being informed about the timing of publicly announced sales. The detail that broke the camels back in convincing this person they should accuse me of being a paid marketer or whatever was that I really like the elegance of the Underdog and back when I was deciding between another log vape and the Underdog one of the factors that pushed me toward UD was the fact that the plain wood body is, to me, more aesthetically appealing than a log with an LED light on it. Anyway I've been spreading the good word and sharing about the UD and I hope it's led many people to getting the right vape for them, whether they chose the Underdog or another vape.

In other more serious news I may have found a reason for my chronic pain. It's not confirmed yet and the doc that ran the test thinks that the results are inconclusive. I hope the doc is right and it's something else, but I'm looking into seeing specialists in my area who'd be able to confirm or eliminate this possible diagnosis. For a while I just wanted an explanation for my pain and now that I have a possible one, I want it to be something else. The UD is particularly helpful as holding it for a bit when I can't type anymore allows my hands to recover enough to go on for a bit. And using the direct draw stems is easy enough that I can still do it when my joints aren't cooperating. My pain has been getting worse, hopefully just cause of the weather, and the UD has been keeping up with my needs and just generally improving my quality of life. I just wanted to thank the UD team and the UD community for the role you all have played in my decision to get my UD and in all the resources that are within this thread on different ways of using the dogs and all that.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a wonderful weekend.

Heya Dogs, just dropping in to let you know that we'll have more of the Holiday Specials up this weekend and hopefully enough of them to last thru the end of the month when the sale ends.

This will be the lowest planned pricing on Dogs for the year to come so be sure to pick one up and/or tell any friends who've been waiting to join the Dog Pack.

As usual Underdogette will post to let you all know when they go up, etc. Until then hope you all enjoy the weekend!

Hah.. like we can afford to pay a marketer! We definitely appreciate you spreading the word and word-of-mouth is our only form of advertising so it really helps us out too.

Sorry to hear about the chronic pain, that's something that I've dealt with as well and know how horrible it is. Hope you get some good news from the Dr and in the meantime hope your Dog continues to sooth and comfort. :peace:

I just received my underdog and love everything about it. In addition to herb, the aromatherapy cup is a huge plus for my asthma. After vaporizing, I use the aromatherapy cup with beeswax + lavender oil, which continues to make my room smell great while also aiding my asthma condition even more. This essentially just replaced my $300 inhaler. I can't thank you enough for making such a wonderful product.

Not really UD related, but I've used a titanium space case before, but by far the best I've used is in fact the shredder. I use that exclusively with my underdog actually.
