That is a nice line up you have there! I could not help but notice the modification on the bottom Glass vapcap. Is that a modification of your own (which i doubt seeing as though you have not even had an opportunity to use it yet) or is this how the new glass caps come? Either way I think i like it :luv:
Thank you! They do look lovely don't they? I have finished work now and I'm having fun getting to know them! :)

Yep, as already mentioned, the bottom Vap in my picture is a PyroVap - take a look over in it's specific thread for a couple of extra pictures I've taken & more info . . .
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/dynavap-pyrovap.19174/page-2#post-908008

And yeah, from what I've recieved, & what y'all are saying, it seems like the colour coding for cases, to some extent has been dropped - I'm guessing maybe due to a shortage of green cases due to the higher volume of sales of VC's over PV's. Maybe. Or maybe not.

Anyway, I think I'm getting to grips with this dainty little tool pretty quick, and I'm finding it really interesting to see how the various torching techniques affect the speed of the click & subsequently the type of vapor produced.

And I'm loving the magnet on the DynaStash btw, that is a very handy feature

Oh, & finally, I received my triple torch with a full tank of gas. Nice touch

Well, I'm off for a couple more jabs from this snappy little Jack Russell of a vape, before I finally hit the hay . . . .

I think I finally figured out my woody vapcap...really digging it now! I've done a lot of testing the last few days, and once I started slowing my draw, not grinding the material, and using the carb effectively...everything has been smooth sailing.

I'm getting the most amazing flavor hit evert single time now, with barely any visible vapor. The second hit always a nice cloud, and the taste is still pretty good! I usually take a few more, all about the same as far as vapor quality. Decent enough clouds...and an enjoyable experience. The last hit usually has very little vapor, so that's my queue to stop.

Loving the click more and more, such a neat and simple concept! And I complemented the form factor before, and I'll do it again here: smaller than expected, beautiful, and classy. It's a cool piece to add to the ever-growing collection.

I'll be curious to see this product evolve. Great work, George!

EDIT: My last bowl had eight or more heat sessions applied, and I got my best results yet. ABV oh-so dark, yet flavor never got too bad, plus I'm getting consistent clouds now. Hard to believe I got so much out of this little guy.

Must say I'm still loving both
Is so close to smoking
I do find the draw easier on the original glass as to the woodie ( I say original, internal glass comes to point at end instead of twist in middle)
I still hvnt combusted dispite pushing very far,+3 seconds after click
I have put myself forward for the all titanium and have bought a new slick lighter to match this and my delightful dynastash
I've got daz as well as vaz now

Make that 4, my vapcap arrived just over a week ago. Enjoying it, combusted a few times but when i get it right it definitely hits the spot, and uses way less than my Xmax2, but def more of a 'having a single skinner' than any other vape i've used. After a couple of uses it looks a bit suss for outdoor use, might make a wooden sheath if i can get to @phattpiggie in the daytime to blag a bit of lathe time, but it's definitely a nice feeling using my jet lighter again :) Absolutely a good buy and the missus did good getting me it for Crimbo

Sorry it took so long to get back here, I hate it when life gets in the way of my hobbies!

Do you have a link for that specific dhgate pillar btw? I might have to save it for future GAS after I finally sell a lot of others things

It was the FC-711 but I bought it when it first came out. It looks like it may have changed a little since then.

@VAPEHUNTER Awesome videos mate! I'm about to try mine with the male/male adapter.

When you say that you are covering the carb are you completely blocking it or feathering it? I can not draw any air at all through my unit if the carb is covered. I have an all glass vapcap.

In these videos I was completely covering the carb, it takes a lot of lung power. It felt like trying to drink a thick milkshake.

To those who have received your vapcap:

Is the smell discrete enough to vape outside? I'm usually alone after work on the bus stop, so I was wondering if I could take a couple of hits while waiting for the bus and not smell like anything.

Have to admit mine makes a fair pong once it's been hit once, after the second hit I find it disappears pretty much. You could easily get away with a sneaky hit then back into the tube or dyna stash once it's called down a little alone at the bus stop sure you could sort a few puffs on the go before it turns up :)

I believe you will be fine. I have used mine right before going into closed buildings and being within a close proximity of people without an issue. I still haven't figured out for sure but I think the finger you use to carb with may get a slight odor. I believe this may have happened to me once but I never noticed it again. I had also been taking multiple dabs at this time so it may have been wax that was on my finger. Or I may have been so high I imagined this as I had been pondering this before I caught the whiff

Been very busy with the Zion recently, but will get some vapcap videos up soon. Changed youtube accounts since my last vapcap video but will post all future videos to the below account.

The video just shows vapcap gets almost as much use as any other vape i have. Probably the most bowls vaped of any vape i own since i got my first beta. A great vape indeed!

Hey

I just snapped an entire load in 1 heating cycle. Pretty dense vapor that just seemed to keep on coming.

Keeping the Vap a good distance from the flame, heating the middle section of the cap while quickly spinning it, seems to be the technique for this type of hit.

Heating in this way makes it take a little longer to hear the pop, but the reward is a phat rip that'll likely leave you feeling extremly happy with yourself :)

I'm certainly really enjoying these little babies, and I love that I can literally hold all 3 of them in the palm of my hand. That's a 1:3 hand to vape ratio! It's virtually unheard of!

Such a cool, tiny device.

So far, so damn good  And again, nice1 George.

Happy 'Cap'n y'all!

Peace.

Shouldn't this thread be moved now? I think far more people have received their dynavap than the zion which is now in the regular portable section even though only a few of the final version have been sent out. Is it George who makes the decision?

I've managed to turn my dynavap into burnt glass. I don't know if my hearing is failing but I had no problem the first few times I used it. Then I ended up waiting for a click that never came. Not a good thing to do. It's pieces have been soaking in alcohol but I don't think that's going to do it. I'm not sure I'm going to replace it even though I like it a lot.

OK, I have been asking some questions here and got lots of great answers. I had my 6th attempt at the vapcap today and I think I finally got it!

I had a nice vapcap session....using a wood vapcap with plastic tube holder, small space Case for flower, and triple torch. One bowl, packed using the straw suck method with fine grind, pressed into pile 3 times filling bowl. I applied heat slowly mostly middle and distal tip, wait for "second" click to stop heat, long slow draws, feather the carb sometimes, after 3rd heating, started heating closer to the wood and center still slowly (cap just in tip of flame), spinning and moving back and forth....I would get 2 nice long draws before cool down click, would wait a couple extra seconds and blow on tip before reapplying heat... I had about 8 heat cycles this way... Abv very dark but no char or burn.... Nice effects from so little.... If I wanted, I could just do one more bowl and be very medicated, but I felt good for almost an hour and half....what a great experience, good taste and fun!

Thanks everyone and George, this little guy definitely has a spot in my vap arsenal. (mighty, crafty, quickdraw 500, and Pax2)

Seems sometimes mine doesn't click or it's so faint I can't hear it either and have had a few burnt loads.
Cleaning With ISO and pipe cleaners gets it pretty much like brand new.

hoping to be able to dedicate more time using mine so as to get the timing down without needing to hear the heat up click but I think a couple of my burnt loads were maybe from not waiting for a second click on the cool down side of things also hard to hear it for me vaping outside with music playing.

Mine really is ruined. I soaked it for a couple of days in ISO and tried pipe cleaners. There is some kind of ring that is totally burned off.

I finally received my vapcap! I tried a few dry runs earlier in the morning, and I tried my first session earlier tonight!

I was walking at night from work, and decided that it was the perfect time to try it out. The smell was really discrete and I'm quite positive that it dissipated through the already-hazy atmosphere, so there wasn't a smell concern at all.

My first hit was phenomenal. I used the torch lighter that it came with, and heated it using the very tip of the flame. It took around 10 seconds to click but I'm sure it took longer because it was cold outside. Anyways, the first hit- I actually tasted the herb; it was so much more different than the smoke I regularly experienced when the herb burnt. It was so satisfying to let the vape enter my lungs.

However, I accidentally burnt the weed when I tried to heat it for the second time. I must have imagined the click to "cool down" because the herb didn't need to be re-heated for a couple more hits.

I have a few questions for the users:

When should I re-heat the vapcap? (I decided to re-heat it when inhaling and exhaling didn't produce any visible vapor). Do I re-heat it when I hear the secondary click?

How much should I pack in?

How many hits does one bowl last you for?

How bad is the bic lighter compared to the torch lighter when lighting it?

@little maggie Try some 0000 steel wool. I had a dark ring on the outside of the glass body, just bellow the cap. The steel wool cleaned it off quick smart.

The inside of my bowl built up some black crack. I just scraped that off with a pin.

The pointy end of my condenser is black too but that glass is very thin and fragile so I haven't tried cleaning with anything more than iso and twisted up paper towel.

I use the torch to clean the blacks spots on glass, it is a little risky because being so thin you can actually melt the glass of the condenser and you do not want to heat neither too close to ceramic filter of the body.
But if you take the time you can torch the glass nearly as new without damaging it. (I still have some blacks spots around the ceramic filter)
