Other than species of wood, how, or is the dynastash any different than a typical dugout?

Is it simply a wider bore on the cigarette sleeve to accommodate for the vapcap?

My dugouts always had a top that slid off, sometimes a problem when really cold and the wood expanded. The DynaStash rotates to either expose the storage or the VC cubby. As long as the screw (hex actually) that holds the cover stays tight I like the DynaStash way better.

When exposing the VC cubby the storage is partly uncovered so you need to be a little careful tapping out the VC, but no real problem.

That's the only Real difference I notice besides the magnet and the design of the top, I really like the top on Ed's old totes/dugouts better and the sliding top of old school dugouts more myself but the dynastash does the job.

I really thought I had combusted right at the end of a session with massive clouds, did not, I hvnt combust yet
Really love the magnet for holding unit whilst it's hot, seems to cool down quicker too!
I tend to hold the lighter further away now to heat up longer before the click (I also get double click which is great)

I also typically am getting a double click on both beat up and cool down, but not always. I have no idea how to describe my flame use, it takes a while to click usually though and I love both the torch and the cap around...

Sometimes yeah its harsh and feels combusty then I don't even exhale a cloud, but nice effects and no burning. Actually stunk up the condenser tube somehow last night without the rest and no visual combustion in the load really. Easy to clean up again quickly though

I have gotten some nice clouds in some sessions too, still a lot of different packs to test, but even without clouds or mixed results it is still fun testing and certainly effective.

My magnet doesn't seem that strong though? Takes many tries to get the cap off and sometimes it really just can't, its never done it in one pull, since maybe brand new it did once, the cap just is very snug on my Ti, regardless of the crack in the wood (which can prevent the cap from going down all the way if not turned so the digger outer is in the right spot).

Agreed overall the stash itself is amazing, will be great for many uses even without the VapCap (@Ratchett's scoop n poke fits in the VC slot...), though I am a bit concerned about the wiping a credit card or phone in a pocket issue someone mentioned? It could also be useful to hold a stirrer tool like the flat one I used with my FF perhaps, haven't tried that.

The plastic case that comes with the VapCap is also awesome actually, little smell proof tube for it, or to carry herbs in (or avb, bc I am definitely getting saveable avb with mine for the most part so far). Also the triple torch is nice and simple, very compact as well for portability.

I think my best results come with a slow steady draw, even carb open, I feel like I agree with someone else who noticed more convection here than expected. Maybe it has to do with the Ti vs glass, and the way I heat it up of course is a big factor, but sometimes I do get lile that conduction smell and he slow sip helps there without cooling it maybe... That could be all it is, better heat transfer with a slower steady inhale, just need to get used to doing it in such a small package like this. As always more testing needed, hasn't even been a week

My magnet works pretty well when the cap is hot. Not so much when its cool, but I don't need it then. :) I haven't cleaned the cap, but clean glass makes for better magnet effectiveness. Mine is the OG version.

Still getting very dark ABV with only one heat cycle most of the time (no combustion). I think I may be heating it too low on the cap and will try nearer the top next time.

Playing around with it, I have found I get much better results cloud wise using it with the cap off and carb closed similar to a vaponic. A way of increasing airflow with the cap on would be nice I think.

Well on NYE I received my OG glass Vapcap, ti woody (Cocobolo), and dynastash, so after a few days of moderate use, here's my thoughts:

I LOVE THE VAPCAP!!

Firstly, I love the glass Vapcap, I think it's my favourite of the two. The taste is awesome, comparable to the Vaponic which is my favourite vape for flavour. I thought perhaps the metal from the cap might have left a twang in the flavour, but it doesn't.

The Vapcap is already my go to vape for out and about- I was walking through the city today, casually vaping it as I walked, no issues, nice draws every time, great flavour, and nice effects. The carry case is perfect for slipping the Vapcap straight into your pocket after a hit.

I havnt experimented too much with load, grind, flame length etc, but having learned how to use the Vaponic and lotus, I find there are major similarities between these vapes. To those not getting great hits or much clouds, try drawing much slower. I use the same draw that I use with the Vaponic and it's perfect. It's really the most gentlest draw you can achieve.
I also get a double click on heat up and cool down. I've been using regular grind, loose pack, single turbo flame, same flame length I use with the lotus, and heating generally in the middle of the cap, and this usage provides a really really efficient experience. I get loads of good hits off a minuscule amount, it's on a par with the mflb for efficiency, but understand that when I say that, I could also turn my flame up and extract a lot quicker (havnt tried it yet, but not really tempted to either). I havnt combusted yet, and I chalk that up to my flame length, and that I'm only using a single flame.

I havnt used the ti woody as much as the og, because it arrived with a small crack on both ends along the grain. It still functions, and I love the look/feel of it. I do find however that the ti takes a lot more heat cycles to get going (obviously I could speed it up by boosting the flame on my lighter, but I don't tend to adjust the flame too much), and also the flavour is better with the OG. I defo need to experiment more with the ti woody.

But yea, I can seriously see the Vapcap becoming the go-to, affordable, accessible vape in the not too distant future. I'm surprised il say it, but I think I actually prefer it over the Vaponic, just because it's easier to use because of the 'click'.

Much love for the Vapcap.

Will wait till I have ordered some more before I start some vape renovations, but I think somehow opening the cap a little would work well. Anyone know how much damage the cap can take before ruining the click?
Could he work turning one out similar to the PVHES for the solo, some groove or little tunnel from the bottom of the cap to the open bowl.
Anyone know what sort of damage a few tiny holes in the top of the cap would do?

Sometimes I go for five or six heat cycles before the taste goes bad (ABV real dark brown) and I call it done. I think it may be a little misguided to judge the VapCap on the amount of visible vapor that comes out, I really don't see much at all during the day. At night with a torch there is a bit, but certainly less than an equivalent load with say, my Underdog Nylon stem or the Lotus - doesn't mean it's not extracting just as well.

If the load is turning brown it's all good, the vapor ain't going anywhere but your lungs.

Herbalaire taugh me that visible exhale is not a direct indication of potency, although it is nice to know this tiny little thing can blow niceee big clouds!

I've been going magnet crazy lol. I have a bunch of mini magnets from eBay. I've superglued a couple to the bottom of the plastic VC tube, a couple drilled into my desk where I vape, a couple on another little wood case thing and a couple drilled into the back of my Ed's TnT tool too. These little powerful magnets remove the cap first shot every time with a minimum of 2 magnets stacked. It's pretty fun putting these things everywhere lol.

Also I'm still loving my VC of course! Only combusted once so far since receiving it Xmas eve. Also the torch wasn't included with mine because they were short or something. So I went to my LHS and picked up a firebird triple flame torch and it's been perfect.

Needless to say this is my new favorite stealth vape. It's perfect for me, the flame is always hot outside vs a battery powered vape which drains on me outside in this negative degree weather. Also loading and unloading is quick and easy outside.

I carry my vape in the plastic tube it came in and my herb in a classic jyarz. Everything is smell proof which is also ideal for my situation.

The new wood body will be the icing on the cake, I'll be sure to share if Ed doesn't beat me to it. Though I still need to remove the digger on my cap so it can fit properly.

That's funny because I am currently riding around with the same setup right now

OK, so I just picked up the small space Case (the size of like a quarter in diameter but am inch or so deep) similar to jarz.

What is your technique to load the cap without undo stress on tip/wood, and still be stealthy... I can't seem to get the "straw" method, if that is your answer, could you give me a quick explanation of how it's done... Maybe I am missing something....

Might crafty died and will be out for warranty for a while, so the vapcap will be my very occasion vape for awhile...thanks

I have the same container and just scoop some into VC by sticking it in there, and popping the cap back on the top to tamper it down. I don't over fill the VC much myself. So this method works well for me.

Took a vapcap to a mates today, he's gone from mj/Tabaco mix smoke to almost exclusive vaping with the vapman in a couple weeks. He had three loads in the cap, didn't burn one and loved the taste compared to the vapman. Is going to buy one when they are ready to ship when ordered. Had never heard of a dugout before but loves the sound of the dynastash.
