Both of my pieces came in from Steven. The FC-205v2 and the FC-201. I'm super stoked on both of them. Ordered them on the 19th and 20th and the came on the 27th and 28th. That's crazy fast and I even got a quartz banger with the Binary because I told them I had so many of the other bowls already and that I had ordered with them in the past. I'm gonna play around with them for a week or two and then make a post in the review thread. Cheers folks!

Definitely going to be picking up that mothership piece - was going to say the same for that Hitman piece but then saw this other hitman piece they just added :

Keep thinking about how good it would look all milked up from the EVO.

I cant decide if that seller is legit or not.. all those pictures are actually from SmokeCartel... figured it out while comparing "legit" prices of these juice boxes... $600 lmao. I remember reading some shit about hitman glass being on dhgate, like exact copies and here it is again.. fun stuff!

see? i knew those pictures looked familiar! i really want to get one and try it out because i only found out from someone posting a picture of these on instagram calling out hitman for using mainly chinese manufacturing. i did some searching and found these decidedly less nice looking ones from another seller for much cheaper.. maybe these are what the $100 ones actually look like: http://dhgate.com/product/2016-newe...n-liquid-sci/270879832.html#s1-3-1|1059323882

In general, you are correct you want low water levels in a design, but no, a high water level is the point of the diffusion pump design. They actually have very low diffusion which retains maximum flavor from your vaporizer (or dab). The DP design is one of my more favorite perc designs for vaporizers, especially when you're a flavor savor kinda person.

That said, I'm a bit concerned about these Chinese knockoff DP's. Look at the ball in that video, is it supposed to rise and fall like that? Every official bates & worm DP I've seen seems to cause the ball to rattle around much more violently than in that video.

Anyone with the origianl B&W DP care to chime in?

I may give that a shot! I was wanting to try the last Toro Jet perc with the ball that came up from Glass artist here. Never pulled the trigger but I wish I would have. I heard they hit great.

So I got my shipment from stevenlmz79... There's a few issues with it. There is a rather noticeable defect at the base and a more subtle defect at the mouthpiece. The defect at the base is easily apparent from the photos. The defect at the mouthpiece was harder to capture in photos, but basically the mouthpiece slopes from the right side downwards to the left side. I would estimate the left side is probably about 1/4" lower than the right side. The first photo is from directly behind the glass as if you were getting ready to rip it with the bowl sticking straight out, and the second picture is the mirror angle.

I was just looking for some feedback from you guys. Did I get a Monday model or is this pretty much what I should expect? I'm a bit disappointed, but I also am fully aware of what I paid for this so I'm not complaining too much...

Just wondering if I should ask for an exchange, or am just as likely to get something back that is in similar to worse condition?

@redcon i find both of those to be unacceptable defects from Steven. It's one thing to get something like this from a seller we have never heard of, but Steven sells at a bit of a premium and for that price I would hope for better quality control. I have bought from about ten different stores on dhgate and find the sunshinestore and cleanclearglass the best to work with. I love that Steven is trying to work with us in building things, but I'm seeing far too many flaws lately. For the price I don't expect perfection but even on dhgate there are 'seconds' and your piece looks more like that. Having said all that, I pretty much approach all China glass purchases as buyer beware.

My piece from Steven has an uneven slit on the perc. The way the cuts worked out on the matrix left a piece that's a little large but if it were cut would leave pieces too small. The overall build quality is lacking and he didn't acknowledge my request for a banger instead of a bowl, not that that's a deal breaker but SSS has been very accommodating with stuff like that. The piece from steven functions, is pretty strait and uneven slits be damned still fires well so I didn't try for a refund, but I'll probably stick with SSS and Kathy for now, CCG has come up on the radar too.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I sent Steven a message and also included a link to this page so he could see what others were saying.

I also ordered an FC-710 from Steven and I just had an opportunity to go over this piece. I cannot find any issues with it and am very pleased.

I think it's only fair I give honest feedback on this piece as well, although the more I look at the Matrix the more I am annoyed with it. The base is an obvious and blatant flaw, and the mouthpiece angle is definitely noticeable in use.

Heard back from Steven/Jane. Said the FTK had a lot of orders and for "quality control" they were very very slow to make but that mine had been shipped from his factory and a tracking number would come my way tomorrow. So sounds like I'll be receiving a fake tracking number tomorrow.
