Smaller or bigger tubes (or bubs) for best air/vapor ratio?

Which from your experience provides thicker hits (better air/vapor ratio)- smaller or bigger tubes or bubblers?
I'm wondering how the volume of a piece affects this....?

smaller chamberr usually means thicker vapor, but big chambers can still be fun to fill with vapor ad clear.

with larger chamers theres more air that can get mixed in with the vapor, and more air you have to remove befor you get the hte vapor. also some may argue that larger chambers have more surface area for condensation loss

a nice gong bubbler would probably satisfy the need for water filtration/moisurization of the vapor, but tubes are able to hold ice, which is excellent

I'm considering an Herborizer XL system w/ the smaller Classic sized sphere- because I like the concentrated taste of thick vapor-to-air ratio and was thinking there might be less air to clear in the smaller Classic chamber (as opposed to the XL)....

smaller sized bongs or bubblers are better i think. with a larger bong by the time fill it with vapor or even before you could easily be out of breath. remember you gotta fill your lungs with all the air in the bong before you get any vapor.

i just realized i can contribute a data point re: tube size.

my normal whip is a 13mm x 100mm (1/2" diameter x 4" long) glass test tube drilled in the bottom with six or seven 0.75mm holes. But i have used a 16mm x 150mm (5/8" x 6" long) test tube and the difference is striking. The vapor is thicker in the larger tube. i think it drops the pressure in the vaporizer chamber more than the 4" tube.

i can't do a proper test with this version of the vape until i drill another of the big tubes -- but all my tuits are square these days.

This is exactly what I was thinking!!!
Does anyone else have any opinions or experience to share on this point?

My Buddha uses a 3/8" ID x 36" whip. First thing I tried was to reduce the hose size thinking it would increase the density of the vapor. It didn't. What it did do was make it more difficult to draw on, resulting in less control over the draw speed. I switched it back to the 3/8 tubing that came with it and used a flashlight to monitor my draw speed (at the vape end of the whip). As long as I'm careful with my draw (s-l-o-w), nice thick rolling vapor.

Something else that seems to have helped - I thought I had my Buddha "dialed" in. No burning of anything. On a whim, I turned down the temp just a little bit. Result: thicker vapor. Experiment with your temps some... YMMV.

cheers

Smaller is the way to go for vapor. I've used multiple bongs of varying size with my heat wand and to me vapor seems to be a little thicker when you have a smaller volume peice. I have a 35cm roor (which is the smallest door they sell other than the rare 100ml)that I put mancalla beads in to lower the volume. I've tried the vriptech pro tool and I like the feel of that more than my roor. I'm actually tryin to get my hands on a inline ash catcher with a mouth peice attachment as well so if I want big I can slap it on the roor or small with the mouth peice. It's all personal preference though. The tubing convo I can't contribute because I don't own and never will own a whip vape.(other than the pd if you wanna get technical)
